Mga sis malaki kong problema yang pocket wifi! Since 130am ang dating namin sa airport. San ba ok kumuha yung may pickup if not sa ximending sa convenience store na 24hrs sa terminal 1?

around 300 to 400 ntd yun niload namin sa easy card for use sa bus and mrt nila. usual mrt fare is 20 to 30ntd 1way.. anyway, madali naman mag top-up if kulangin kasi may mga kiosk naman per mrt station.

Mga sis, any recommended hostels near Taipei Main Station? Ni-rebook ko flight namin one day in advance so we'll need a place to stay sana in the morning before we check-in sa AirBnB namin. TIA po!

Sorry yes tama ka 3AM pa nga! Sakto lang pagdating namin ng Taoyuan Internal Airport and Immigration pick up na.

For the easycard, depende sa pupuntahan. Medyo malaki niload namin nung nag-Yehliu and Shifen. Bus one way is 96NTD na. Pero kung taipei lang naman around 200NTD is okay na.

Nagbook kami sa Miniinn Hostel near Taipei Main Station Exit 7. May free buffet breakfast, 24/7 free juice/coffee and elevator. Close din sa 7-Eleven. Maliit nga lang sobra yung rooms. Limited space for luggages to pack. Value for money lang talaga kasi 300m away lang MRT.

Depende sa mga gusto nyong puntahan sa Taichung. Kami kasi ang dami naming gustong puntahan kaya we decided to stay for 2 days. Bumalik kami ng Taipei on Day 2.

I suggest if day trip lang:
-Take the express train from Taipei to Taichung at P700+ one way (40mins); First train to Taichung is around 6:49AM
-Pwede na kayo mag-bus pauwi from Taichung Bus Station at almost P500 (2.5hours)
-Hire a car and driver for the whole day. May nakuha kami 3500NTD for 10 hours

5 kami. Yung sasakyan na ginamit namin Toyota Wish. Pwede ko i-recommend yung driver namin si Mr Xu. Hirap lang siya sa english pero may google translate naman siya. Napakabait niya.

100NTD yung card. Iba pa yung load. Pwede siya ibalik. Pero di na namin nagawa kasi sarado yung office nila sa airport.  Almost 12MN na kami dumating for our 4AM flight. Huwag ka lang siguro magload ng masyadong malaki.

Yung Taipei Main Station to Taoyuan Airport 160NTD. I guess kung sosobra ka mga ganyang range lang.

me sis! my trip was last Dec 5-7. malamig and umuulan pagdating ko dun so I suggest a jacket talaga, yung mga locals dun usually ang nakikita ko na jacket nila is yung Uniqlo yung compact and magaan. wag masyadong bulky na mga winter jackets. I suggest din to bring umbrella or hooded waterproof jacket kasi usually it's drizzling in the morning tapos mawawala then aambon ulit.

I cannot suggest a itinerary kasi this is a solo trip kaya my itinerary is very flexible.

I stayed sa Here There Hostel na super duper lapit sa Taipei Main Station. pagka exit ko ng M6(Ceasar Park Mall?) mga 3 mins lang hotel na ako and may lift sila kasi they are located in 6th & 7th floor.

Buy easycard taipei pass https://www.easycard.com.tw/english/taipeipass/buy.asp  depending on your duration of stay. this is sulit na talaga.

If you are flying with budget airline(CebuPac / Airasia) I suggest just to stay and just sleep in the airport (kung lahat kayo is cowboy and tag tipid hahaha!)  kasi ang mga dating nga airlines is like 1AM or 2AM. Hanap ka na lang ng area dun na matutulugan. Nakaidlip rin naman ako kahit papaano. Less 1 day pa na babayaran sa room. Syempre pag may mga bata ang senior citizens mag book na lang kayo ng room.
Going to Taipei City is easy as well. you can ride sa Bus 1819 /MRT that will take you directly to Taipei Main Station and from there either lakad or taxi na to hotel.
Maraming kakainan kung hindi naman sensitive maraming mga street food sa tabi tabi. Kung saan mahaba ang pila dun bumili kasi meaning masarap yung food dun   NTD 45-60 yung mga street food. Iba rin yung mga food rin na nasa Night Markets

^ oh thank you sis for the tips! Did you get the unli pass? I wasn't sure if I should... but sabagay I don't know how far I'm going.. I need to  go to Kaohsiung, Nantou County, Shilin and Tainan... I don't know pa how we will be going around lol! Do you know if it's sulit to get them? I wasn't sure if I should get the loadable one, or the unlipass

Thanks sa tip about jackets, I'm going in May, so definitely need a jacket and boots kase maulan daw huhuhu ... I'm still deciding pa if we're going to camp sa airport... pero most likely not.. kase I will need to go to a resto na kase agad2 for lunch the next day.. hehe

Nabasa ko parang hindi sulit yung unlimited pass. Better if you prepare your IT then compute yung transpo expenses. Ang train fare ranges from 15NTD to 25NTD lang one way.

Wala pang 1,000 NTD nagastos namin sa train/bus for out 5 day trip. 3 days were spent in Taipei puro DIY.

no need na..nung nasa Taiwan immigration na ako.. ang pinakita ko lang is round-trip ticket and yung booking sa hotel mo. tinanong lang ako kung hanggang kelan ako nag stay. tapos picture and kuha na ng fingerprints. mabilis lang sis.
