Question lang on Chu-Kuang Express tickets. Kapag nakapagpa-reserve na ba ako ng tickets online, may reserved seats na agad yun automatic? For pick up pa lang ang tickets sa station e.

^Wuvshoe, puwede ba Yangmingshan without a guide/driver? May kasama kasi akong 2 seniors so ayaw ko sila mapagod and might use one recommended by a [textspeak!]-Taiwanese friend of my sis.

Kaya sya since there's a shuttle bus that you can take from one site to another. Yun nga lang, from the bus stops, maglalakad ka pa to some of the sites mismo (we had to walk 45 minutes one-way to reach one site - Erziping Trail, and another one is medyo pataas - Qiangtanggang). Then you have to go back to the bus stop and wait (5-20mins)...  tsaka ka palang makakalipat to another site. If you can get a car w/ guide, and the price is reasonable, then better for the seniors...

^yes sis yung branch nila sa Ximending. May nabasa nga kasi ako sa reviews na ok ang location. Thanks sis. Btw yung trip namin is on Jan 28-31, malamig ba non? Ano marecommend nyo na clothes lalo na for my 5 y/o son na may Allergic Rhinitis. May mga heaters ba sa CityInn?

I sent them an email in relation to this as I have the same concerns as you. They said they've got an air conditioning system in the room that the guests can control but there's no heating. May nabasa ako noon na a lot of hotels and homes in Taiwan don't have heaters kasi di naman kasing-harsh ng Japan and Korea ang winter nila.

I'll just maybe bring my own heater or electric blanket or rely on warm clothing. I've got the same condition as your son and ang heater is really a bad idea kasi nakakatuyo ng sinus and nostrils pero may nasal saline spray and sinus rinse akong ginagamit pag kailangan ko talagang heater.

Yung popular na inuuwi is Uma Hana bags or wallets which you can find everywhere. Waterproof siya. Cosmetics, mura yung Perfect Whip sa kanila. Sa Bonjour P150 lang isa pag bundle. Also, My Beauty Diary, Dr Morita, etc sheet mask!

You just have to meet the ff requirements:

1. Your passport must have at least 6 months validity.
2. A return ticket or onward ticket (to your next destination and a visa for that destination)
3. A proof of accommodation. It may be hotel booking or host?s contact information or tour arrangements
4. You must have no criminal record in Taiwan.
5. Your trip is no longer than 14 days

malaki pala talaga un yangmingshan. plan ko talaga is just to ride mrt+bus pero napaisip tuloy ako. akala ko kasi, after drop off ng bus, dun na agad yun attraction, may lakad factor pa pala haha di kakayanin ng mom ko yun 30+mins na lakad.

thanks medyo di rin kc ganun ka-ok un reviews for klook tour in yehliu/shifen/jiufen. 1 hour stop lang yata sa yehliu geopark, eh dun ko pa naman gusto mag ikot. sa pagpasok and pictures pa lang, ubos oras na.


also, nov 27-30 kami andun. as per accuweather, nasa lower 20s yun temp., light fleece jacket puwede na or need pa bubble jacket?

^ Sis, kapag lower 20s pwede na light jacket or cardigan, though have something prepared for layering na rin kasi baka sudden drop ang temp kapag morning or gabi.

May outlet malls ba in Taipei, mga sis? Will include sana in our itinerary kung meron sulit puntahan hehe.

^^Sherlock, mura pa nga ang 3500 ntd niyo na hired taxi/tour. The one I'm hiring is 4500 ntd for eight hours. Okay naman na ang presyo for me, still less than what I was expecting and ayaw ko na kasi maghanap and they responded quickly anyway.

mga sissy visible ba yun daytour lang from taipei to taichung with seniors. like ko sana visit yung zhong she flower market, rainbow village and gaomi wetland. or may suggestion ba kayo na itenerary if daytour lang?....pwede ba hire private car lang dun or need talaga sakay muna kami train to train then pag andun na sa taichung tsaka kami get private taxi? ^ Nag-Klook ako for the pocket wifi. Okay naman and affordable. May times kasi na nagta-taxi kami and papakita sa driver ang Chinese name ng pupuntahan namin or paggamit ng Google maps. Iyong adapter sa charger ng wifi din ginagamit namin when we charge our phones kaya hindi na kami bumili adapter and nanghiram sa hotel.

Don?t stress too much sa OOTD. Simple manamit Taiwanese, nandun ako last June and I felt overdressed at my simplest most times even in Ximending. Pero sa Xinyi area, medyo maporma na but mas maporma pa rin sa The Fort.

Our trip will be on Nov 25 to Nov 29. We will spend the first 2 days in Taichung then Taipei na yung 3 days. Ang mahal din mag-hire ng car for Taichung kahit doon na naka-based yung driver. Buti 5 kami maghahati.  8000NTD for 2 days.

Meron pala akong contact nos ng drivers na taipei-based. Nakuha ko lang sa blogs and DIY Travel Philippines. Kung sinong may gusto PM lang. Yung isa pinoy.

Kamusta ang weather ngayon? Based sa accuweather, mainit pa siya sa tanghali.

Parang di sulit magprivate car kung dalawa lang kami.. so baka magikot nalang around taipei kesa malalayo g lugar na need ng private car. Suggest naman kayo sisses ng hindi dapat mamiss out sa taipei. Ang nasa list ko pa lang:

^Madali sa pocket wifi. Sasabihin sa iyo paano gamitin, password lang naman sa phone ilalagay. Make sure meron ka rin powerbank. Magaganda din deals sa KKday and Klook sa transport sa attractions and airport. Mas mura nga ngayon kumpara pumunta ako noong June.

Food trip kasi ako pag travel to other countries. Kung wala kayong time okay na ang nightmarket sa Ximending. If you want to spend a bit more money for seafood, Addiction Aquatic Development is okay for sushi, sashimi and all kinds of seafood and they cater to all budgets. Madami din all you can eat hotpot sayang lang di ako nakapunta.
