Hi mga sis, may mairerecommend ba kayo na driver for 1-day Yilan and 1-day Taipei? May natanungan ako, ang quote niya is 4500 per day, alam ko nasa 3k to 3.5k lang per day so am trying to look for other good and reliable driver.

I just came back from Taiwan and I must say I super enjoyed it
Akala ko Hindi kasi bad trip yun Taiwan embassy dito. Super rude and expensive visa.. Pero once in Taiwan, super ok na ok

1. Very nice and polite Taiwanese people. Anglayo sa mainlanders and HKers.. Akala ko rude kasi ROC sila. Pero Hindi. I'm glad na wrong ako ditto
2. Malapit lang money natin sakanila
3. Masarap food
4. Madami magandang places

I can totally recommend our tourguide (Horton tours) super sulit. Magaling magtagalog and good service. Van used was a Starex, luwag naman

Heading off to Taiwan this June for 10 days and my mom will be accompanying me for the first 3 days in Taipei. I've started with my itinerary but looking for inputs if this is doable.

Day 1 Sat: Arrive in Taipei. Free walking tour around Taipei. Shilin Night Market.
Day 2 Sun: Private driver to take us around Yehliu Geopark, Jinguanshi, Jiufen, Shifen. Keelung Night Market.
Day 3 Mon: Yong Kang, Taipei 101 and souvenir shopping. Mom flies back to Manila (late evening).
Day 4 Tue: Cinjing, overnight stay.
Day 5 Wed: Sunrise morning tour to Hehuanshan. Sun Moon Lake, overnight stay.
Day 6 Thu: Taichung then Hualien (via Taipei), overnight stay.
Day 7 Fri: Taroko Gorge (either overnight in Hualien or back to Taipei)
Day 8 Sat:  Yangmingshan, Tamsui Old Street. Beitou. Raohe Night Market
Day 9 Sun: Free and Easy. Late evening flight.

Question lang mga sis, do we really have to stay overnight in Cinjing and Sun Moon Lake?

And also how about Taichung? I was thinking of staying in Taichung,too. pwede ba 4 days in Taipei and 3 days in Taichung??

^ I am staying overnight in Cingjing kasi I wanted to catch the sunrise tour in Hehuanshan which is nearer to Cingjing than Taichung. Same for Sun Moon Lake, my friends say the sunset and sunrise is very nice there. But you can use Taichung as your base for SunMoonLake and Cingjing if you're not after the sunrise views. Then use Taipei as your base for Hualien.

^ sis, better book van rental with tours. Kakapagod to go around. I can suggest harton tours, just inform the driver ahead of the places you want to see/he has a list of possible places to go to as well

Hi. Any recommended place to stay near Taipei 101 since we will be spending New Years Eve there? Please help.

For those going to Sun Moon Lake, we stayed in Fleur De Chine Hotel. View was really beautiful and pang honeymoon sya.  If you can spend a night in Taichung, the best yung night market nila. Talo pa Shilin and Ximending in Taipei.

I sooo love Taiwan. Food, shopping etc.... language barrier lang prob ko dun kaya im worried coz this December would be the first time na wala kami tour guide. So good luck to us.
