We will be going there on Apr 22-25, I will share my exp to you sisses after. Here's our itinerary:
Apr22MN: Arrive at Taoyuan International
Apr22: Yangmingshan National Park, National Palace Museum, Shilin Night Market
Apr23: Hualien and Taroko Gorge
Apr24: Temple and Memorial Sightseeing, Taipei 101 Raohe Night Market (?)
Apr25: Departure

Your itinerary is ok! Kung may time pa kayo ng Apr 22 pwede niyo singit ang Xinbeitou (hotsprings, geothermal valley, and public library voted one of the most beautiful in the world). It's near Yangmingshan, you can either take a cab going down or bus. Sa Hualien naman, usually when you get off the train station, madaming cabs that you can rent the whole day. Siguro 2500-3000NTD then iikot ka na nila sa buong Hualien, or depende if you prepared an itinerary.

Yikes, skip the months of June-August. Sobrang init! Mas mainit and humid pa dito compared to SG kapag summer months. Pati hangin mainit!

Cherry blossom season has started! Come and visit! Would recommend going to Wuling Farm in Nantou to experience cherry blossoms. If walang time, pwede na rin ang Yangmingshan at Beitou.

Another question, what's the weather there now? I heard rainy season yung date namin Apr 21-25? Usually Buhos ba to or parang drizzle lang? And if breezy weather when sunny Ewan ko kung maayos question ko. sorry na hihi

Pa-join mga sis! My friends and I are planning to go to Taiwan this May. Kumusta ba ang weather pag May? Also, I have US multiple visa that will expire next year pa naman. Once ko lang nagamit. Ang intindi ko is pwede ko siya gamitin to apply for a travel certificate to Taiwan as long as valid pa, tama ba?

^ true sis! we have a valid JP visa. We just applied for Travel Cert online and got it right away after processing Should be used within 90 days from application and valid for 30 days of stay

tnx sis! OK lang ba na sa US visa is maiden name tapos yung passport ko ngayon eh married name na? Na-issue kasi yung US visa ko di pa ako married eh. Just want to make sure di magiging issue yun

^ Naku sis, hindi ko sure. Hindi ko pa natry hehe.. siguro need mo ng additional documents for clarification or something na ikaw talaga yun. Paano process mo nung nag in&out ka sa US w/ diff family names on visa and passport?

Hi sis! Wuling Farm in Nantou is that the same as in Taichung? Yung nakita ko kasi sa google, Taichung. May cherry blossoms pa ba ng 3rd week of April? Yun ang dating namin dun eh. Thanks! ☺

Hello mga sis and choco_loka, since you're the resident Taiwan expert, want to ask if you have anymore recommendations of good places to go in Taiwan. We've done Taichung, Cingjing, Taroko Gorge, Maioli, Hualian, Kaohsiung...and of course Taipei...We have purchased tickets for December and we're staying 8D7N. We're going to Yilan then it's a toss between Hualian or Kaohsiung. Then staying for maybe 2 nights in Taipei for shopping. Any thoughts would be helpful. Alam kong ang tagal pa pero haha, just to give us some ideas.  BTW, was able to purchase Eva Air tickets RT MLA-TAIPEI for only USD 112/pax all-in for December. If you guys are interested, parang marami pang available tickets.

sharing some info about my taipei trip last January. sorry long over due. hehe

stayed at city inn 2 hotel. highly recommended hotel, 5-7 minute walk to taipei main station

visited the following places:
- chiang kai shek memorial
- dr. sun yat sen memorial
- ximending
- din tai fung in taipei 101
- hello kitty sweets
- shilin night market
- kao chi
- longshan temple
- confucius temple

my favorite sa mga places would be the confucius temple. best seen in the late afternoon on a weekday.

i hoarded facial masks sa cosmed. as in daming variety and cheaper than watsons.

hindi ako fan ng street food sa shilin night market but natuwa ako as birkenstock store in shilin. super mura. hehe.

for me, enough na yung 3 days if within taipei lang.
