Another question. Which do you think is the best option among the ff:
1. PAL - waiting for them to bring back the 40% off Mastercard promo. +/1 200 USD per head RT
2. EVA Air - Expensive. Currently at 220 USD per head RT
3. Cebu Pac - bad flight timing (arrives midnight)
4. China Airlines? - not sure about this one

Also looking to book Check Inn Taipei. It's a newly opened hotel at the Zhongshan District. Is this a good location? TIA

I've tried pal, eva air and cebupac going to taipei and i think pal is the way to go. they have a morning flight going to taipei para sulit yun day, pero pag mwf ata yun departure from manila, mas late sya. eva air is nice kasi they still use the boeing 747 pero mahal nga. I went to taipei last october and got tickets for 180usd. Not bad na rin.

Sis ailea, medyo namamahalan ako sa 95usd but if you're going to book your tour for convenience, ok rin sya. Most of the places you mentioned are accessible by metro, except for yangmingshan. medyo mas nakakapagod lang nga if DIY. i recommend shin yeh, tian wai tian and elixir health pot. Hindi ko masyado feel yun elixir but everyone else in my family loved it hehe.

Lodged my third Taiwan tourist visa application last December 23. January 6 ang releasing. Hopefully, approved so I can continue planning my Chinese New Year trip!

How do we get to Yangmingshan -- is it hard if we do it by Bus?

Where's the best area to stay kaya at Taipei? Will be with hubby and our son who will be 1 year and 5 months by then. 2 nights lang as this will be a short layover before he head to the States so i want somewhere na right smack in the middle.
