Military Diet
« on: May 08, 2014, 01:45:38 am »
Anybody heard about this? This diet is not related to military at all. This is my go to diet if I want to loose few pounds quick which is 2-3 lbs in 3 days. This is a 3 day diet and the other 4 days you can eat whatever you want but in moderation then back to the diet. This may not work for everyone but it works for me.  :)

Day 1
Breakfast
- 1/2 slice of grapefruit
- 1 slice of toast or sliced bread (whole grain if you can)
- 1 cup of coffee or tea (no sugar & cream)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter

Lunch
- 1 cup of coffee
- 1 toast or sliced bread
- 1/2 cup of tuna (I eat tuna in oil but drain the oil)

Dinner
- 3 oz of meat (any meat)
- 1 cup green beans (I steam my beans)
- 1 small apple
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream

Day 2
Breakfast
- 1 egg (cooked however you like)
- 1 toast or slice bread
- 1/2 banana

Lunch
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 hard boiled egg
- 5 saltine crackers

Dinner
- 2 hotdogs (no bun)
- 1/2 cup carrots
- 1/2 cup broccoli
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 vanilla ice cream

Day 3
Breakfast
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 1 small apple
- 5 saltine crackers

Lunch
- 1 toast or sliced bread
- 1 egg (cooked however you like)

Dinner
- 1 cup tuna
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream

You can't drink anything else but water with this diet. You will be very hungry the first day but it will get better and your stomach will adjust to small portion of food. Give this a try!  :)

Looks like a very low-cal diet, maybe around 700-800 calories per day. Maglolose ka nga nyan ng weight. Maybe water weight mostly, but who cares. Basta naglose. Heehee. :)

Yes sis, very low-cal. I'm maintaining my weight of 105 lbs and I still do this especially when I feel like crap from eating out / get together with friends.

I have tried this diet for 4 months on and off. usually I start to do it 2 weeks before an event like vacation etc. Effective siya.Yes, maybe mostly water weight lang pero hindi na ko tumataba ng more than 1 kilo even I go back to my normal eating routine. and hindi ako nagugutom dito kasi may variety of food. I usually just lose around 1 or 2 kilos every time I do this dahil dun I already lost 8 kilos. without exercise. I am not overweight though I have an avargae built.

I started this diet today but I couldn't finish the half grapefruit. Hindi din kasi ako mahilig sa prutas, I had my breakfast at 4.30am and now I'm already hungry. Sana ma complete ko yong 3 days...
