hi! first time to post here. im currently on my 38th week and my ob is dra marie victoria cruz-javier. im expected to give birth anytime soon. before, we planned to avail st luke's great expectation package. its around 65k for 4 bed ward and 69k for a 2 bed semi private room. both room types are separated by accordion doors. you can avail of the package provided you do not have any maternal complications like hypertension, diabetes etc. too bad i was diagnosed with gestational diabetes this april. yes! humabol pa talaga! i wont be able to avail the package. for those weighing down the pros and cons of the package, if you're after the savings, i really do suggest you avail it kasi super laki ng difference sa normal rate plus you get to enjoy quality service. ang setback nga lang, semi private. i used to work in slmc too, madalas din na wala namang occupant yung kabilang side ng semi private kaya mukhang sayo na rin yung buong room. 😀

also mga sis, iba iba pala ang rate ng ob depende sa expertise nya. may mga ob na dahil specialized sila, mostly mas mataas ang rate nila. also, nagdedepend ang pf sa type of room na pinili mo. so if youre going to choose executive private for example, mostlikely mas mataas ang sisingilin sayong pf kesa pag nag small private ka lang. pag tumaas ang pf ni ob, susunod na tataas ang pf ng anesthesiologist kasi if im not mistaken yung 30% ata ng pf ni ob ang rate ng pf ni anesth.

Sis theEmpress, na-mention ba ng OB mo bakit mas preferred niya ang MMC? Hindi kaya mas mataas ang PF niya dun kaya 'yun ang nire-recommend niya? Di ba kasi dapat choice 'yun ng manganganak?

Pasensya na sa question ko sis. Pero sana nalinaw ni OB sa 'yo ang mga reasons niya para mas makapamili ka nang mabuti.

Sino ang pinaka OK na ob ng Global City? Please give feedback

I will be consulting OB for my own check ups doon na ako magpapa check up.
Nagbackread ako medyo nalito ako parang base sa QC yung iba.

Just in case indicate na rin yung healthcard nila and how much na rin yung consultation fee since wala pa naman akong health card.

^ Dr. Jing Fernandez, me clinic sya both in QC and in BGC. Pagkaalala ko, if di pa nag-increase, 1st checkup is 1k, succeeding is 800.

Hi everyone! I'll also give birth at SLGC, currently 14+3 weeks My previous OB was Dra Jing since I went for infertility treatments A few months after we successfully conceived, I went  back to my original OB Dra. Capistrano. My question is, for those of you who availed of the package, how early did you avail them? In what week of your pregnancy? I have the papers na for the packages & I read all the terms as well. What if I avail it now, paid it & all then after a while ma-diagnose ako ng GDM or anything that wouldn't qualify me sa package ibig sabihin yung binayad namin would serve as deposit nalang? Also, regarding their prepaid, is that parang deferred payment sa hospital? Yung deferred payment kasi ng credit card is not 0% naman.

Sa mga nanganak ng CS sa BGC, how soon ni room-in si baby sa inyo?

^ ang alam ko, in St Luke's (QC or BGC), basta well-baby, kasama na agad ng mommy sa recovery room pa lang.

^i see. Ang worry ko kasi yung period na nagrerecover pa ang mother pano ang feeding sa baby. Like ako gusto ko mag EBF pano yun kung nasa recovery room pa ako at tulog pa.

Also kelan pine perform ang complete screening sa baby?

^ sa recovery room, the nurses can assist you to have the baby latch. CS ako and EBF din, mag-2yo na baby ko next week.

hi sis, asked SLBGC about this too. Sabi sakin you can settle the full amount earliest is 36 weeks onwards, and latest is 24 hours before the delivery.
