^ si Doc Jing ang OB ko! Super nice. And very malumanay magsalita. Hindi nagmamadali during check-up, and hindi nakakahiyang magtanong ng kung ano mang kapraningan bilang isang first-time mom then. Hehe..

But i don't think she is a sono though. And wala sya own ultrasound machine, well in her QC clinic at least. So you still need to have your US done somewhere else.

Does SLMC QC ask for a cash deposit/down payment before the patient can check in? As in before ako iadmit sa labor kelangan makapag down na in cash? Thanks!

^ang alam ko nga you  have to pay in full na eh at least yan nabasa ko yung sa Global ah, baka di naman rin sila nagkakalayo ng policy ng QC

Sa pagkakaalala ko, sa QC, no need naman na magbayad agad in full. Pagdating ko sa maternity ward, punta ako sa hrpu for labor, me pinafill-up lang na forms. Then nung hapon, nung kumuha na ng room si hubby tsaka lang yata nagbayad ng deposit. Di rin kami nagbayad agad in full kasi running bill naman di ba? Though si husband nagpapa-swipe sya ng cc 2x a day - once sa morning and once sa hapon, tig-25k or 30k yata at a time kasi me promo yung credit card nya. Haha. Kaya nung final bill namin for discharge, konti na lang balance.

@caterpillar-girl, i just confirmed with Global. sa Package nila, if Cash ang payment, kailangan talaga bayaran in full 24 hrs prior to admission, at least 36wks of pregnancy and provided there is no maternity complications like Gestational Diabetes, Hypertension, etc. They also have the option to pay in installment using credit cards, these are 9months to pay.

Good thing, pwede na itong package na ito sa mga first time moms, before kasi sa 2nd pregnancy onwards lang pwede eh.

If hindi naman package, yes you will need to pay beforehand. Cash or credit card. Then balance nalang when checking out. Cash or credit card again. Kala ko pa naman pwede check. Pwede check only if manager's check. And walang installment terms kung credit card.

No. First baby ako e. Got a regular private room tsaka hrpu during labor para kasama ko all throughout si hubby.

^ah kaya. for the package kasi, you have to pay in full in advanced before manganak, if payment is in cash. may staggered payment din for 9months using selected credit cards.

I've inquired w/ SL Global and confirmed their prepaid program. Ang sabi ng admissions there is still discount if you start to pay early on your pregnancy. It's like a loyalty thing - somewhat like you choose SL to give birth since the start of your pregnancy.
I also got copies of their contracts for NSD and CS. Was able to do an ocular visit and me and hubby were impressed-kase lahat ng andun very accommodating and parang tinutour ka talaga sa hotel. LOL Mejo madami rin ang coverage ng package nila, including na yung first 4 vaccines ni baby pagkapanganak. I'm considering to give birth here pero sana Normal. Ayaw ko talaga ng CS. Aside from pricey sya, ayaw ko ng mahabang recovery. Ang di lang maganda is if you opt for NSD package and you end up CS, waived na ang package and you have to pay the whole bill as is.

i availed of the NSD package which is a good move for us dahil ang bilis ko lang nag-labor. Lol. Mas matagal pa ata yung paghintay ko sa OB kesa sa pag labor ko. Luckily, we had the whole room to ourselves, so parang hindi kame naka-ward.

Hi all.. just would like to ask. I will give birth next week at St. Lukes (QC) via CS. Third time ko na, but before lagi cash kami magbayad ng PF ng OB, Anes, and Pedia. Then I inquired sa secretary ng OB ko, pwede pala i credit card, kaya lang daw parang may surcharge pa kapag credit card.
Anyone who already paid the PF via credit card sa St. Lukes QC? May additional charge nga ba, and ilang percent? Sayang kase may promo yung Citibank ngayon eh, hehe. Thanks!

I'm going to undergo CS and I got a quote from SLMC.  Madadagdagan ba usually yung price?  By how much kaya?

^^^ we paid using credit card (me promo din that time kaya twice a day nagpaswipe si hubby, hehe). Sa pagkakaalam ko wala namang additional charge. Dahil kung meron, kahit 5% lang yan, for sure magca-cash na lang si hubby kung ganun.

^^ for package ba yung quote sa yo? If so, then more or less yan na yung babayaran mo, assuming wala naman maging complications sa inyo ni baby. If hindi package, then actul charges will still depend on the type of room and the availed services, tests and supplies + PF, etc. Magpasobra na lang kayo sa budget. Mas mainam na ang may sobra kesa kapusin, IMO.

Hi mommies. Just gave birth to our baby girl via CS lasg week in SLMC QC. Overall I can say that service was superb. From admitting, to labor, to delivery and post natal care. Doctors and residents and nurses were all efficient, and most importantly they were kind and caring.

Yung mejo may need for improvement nila is yung billing department nila. Parang kulang sa customer service, or natapat lang talaga sa amin yung mejo clueless. My husband had to clarify certain things and yung cashier puro 'di ko alam e' lang daw ang sagot. Lol.

But generally we were very satisfied with our stay and should we have another baby we will definitely go for St. Luke's again.

For those who did not avail of the packages, can you share the breakdown of expenses please.  Prefer to be in a private room and in SLMC QC.

We are also in the same predicament, did you find a new OB at St Lukes Global? Did you ask for your records in your former Obgyn?

^No, na settle naman na ako kay Makati OB... And she was able to explain naman my condition (placenta issues)

Regarding the records, my OB constantly gives me records of my exams and tests so lahat, I have copies. Pwede ka naman humingi if you don't have. I can also access my test results online, sa website ng MMC and New World Diagnostic.
