If you want to ask for a discount, you will have to pay in check directly to the doctors office na.  Partial lang VAT nun kung nagkataon so cheaper for you.  With me, isa lang nag IV, and I wasn't very happy with it.  Naisip ko kung bakit kailangan pa, hindi naman ako normal birth.

Sa mga hinandle ni Dra. Jing Fernandez, kamustahin ko lang birth experience nyo specially for CS. Okay kame so far kampante ako sa kanya, gusto ko lang makarinig ng personal feedback.

^ me! Emergency CS last May sa QC. Ok si Doc Jing. Very calm sya, constantly checked on me during labor and talked my husband through during the delivery. She visited me din sa recovery room to explain what happened (my bp shoot up during the operation kasi) and why she wants me to stay longer sa recovery room for monitoring. Nag-visit din sya pati sa room mismo later in the day. She changed my dressing before i checked out of the hospital. Postpartum checks were ok din, buti din my wound healed fast and well.

Had my anti-HPV vaccine with her din after ko manganak. 3rd dose ko this month so balik ako sa kanya in 2 weeks time.

Twice i gave birth in quezon city and pagdating doon 6cm dilated na ako. Yung nag-ie sa akin while wala pa yung ob ko is yung resident ob lang. Hindi ko na kinaya labor pains kaya kahit sabihin pa nila na konting tiis pa i asked for epidural. Dra gervacio was my anesthesiologist. She's very mabait. My ob, dra palma, stayed with me and never umalis ng dumating sa room. Twice din akala ko hindi pa ako iaadmit kaya laging yung nurse na naka-assign sa akin ang inuutusan ko to tell to hubby to contact stemcord for the baby's cord blood. Overall wala ako masabi na hindi maganda slmc. Super alaga ako while nandoon.

Thanks sis bagaholic_chewy, thats what I heard nga din mabilis daw gumaling yung mga naopera nya. Sabagay tama ka very calm nga sya thats why lumipat ako sa kanya kasi chillax lang talaga. May trauma lang talaga ako sa first CS ko kaya gusto ko makarinig ng maganda. Thanks you sis!

^ to add pala: before I was wheeled from HRPU to the OR for my CS, Doc Jing saw my Mom's worried face so she went to my Mom and told her that she'll take care of me. My mom told me this nung nasa room na kami na ambait daw ni Doc.

Dont worry sis. Ako nga sinagawan ko na yung nurse ko and mga resident doctors doon and still mabait parin sila. I was waging war (talagang war eh no, i said no epid no ie) kasi they dont want to give me epidural pa at 3cm. I was induced so super hindi ko na kaya yung pain thats why inaaway ko na silang lahat sa hrpu.

Hahaha okay lang yan minsan hindi talaga maiwasan yan when you're in pain magagalit ka talaga.

Sis kamusta pag kabit ng catheter sayo nasaktan ka ba nung tinanggal and yung unang wiwi mo? Meron lang talaga ko bad experience sa first CS ko kaya medjo praning ako.

Anyone here na recently nanganak sa St. Luke's Global City? Nagtour kami last Saturday after my CAS & I got the estimated cost na from the hospital(wala pa un Professional Fee). From your experience po ba hindi nalalayo yun estimated cost nila sa actual payment? Thanks in advance

^ Ok naman, I was expecting to pay more so I was surprised when we only paid around 129k for elective CS for st luke's QC.  Catheter hindi masakit pag lagay and remove.

Hi Sis Karakrus: OB ko ngayon si Dra Joanna Rey-Matias. Ok nga siya. May hypertension ako pero di ako kinakabahan pag nagpapaconsult sa kanya. Reassuring kasi siya eh. I'm on my 19th week and weekly ang check-up ko sa kanya due to high risk nga pregnancy ko.

Sis baby_reg. Sa St Lukes ka ba manganganak? I Think Dra Joanna is also affiliated with delgado hospital. Baka dun ako manganganak kasi mas mura. Although di ko pa natatanong si Dra Joanna about dun.

Thanks sa feedback sis. Nung last na punta ko kasi sa MAB medyo pang 17 ako sa list nya kaya hindi ako umabot nung Sat and sinabi sakin na pwede rin daw ako magpacheck up sakanya sa Megamall M(5-8) & Sun(1-5)

Pinagpipilian ko din si Dra Judy Ann de luna kasi yung friend ko naman sya yung nagpaanak. CS na daw dapat sya nun pero sinabi nya na kakayanin nya and thankfully kinaya nyang NSD.

Eto nga chinecheck ko yung maternity package ng SLMC. http://www.stluke.com.ph/services/medicalpackages
Malaki talaga yung difference ng NSD sa CS. Kaya gusto ko yung OB na tutulong sakin na NSD.

My husband and I toured the OBGyne Complex at St. Lukes Global last week. They geve us these at the end of the tour.

Actually yun din yung unang paper na binigay sakin. Walang naka split na rates for complicated and uncomplicated. Then I went to admissions to double check lang. Turns out yung unang binigay were old rates. So i went back to the OB complex tapos they gave this. Ito daw yung bago na tama na yung rates.

My ob is Dra. Mae Anne Tabaquero. 😊 Who's your ob?

Hi! Gave birth last year at SLMC. (Dec 6). I was induced then later on had to have a C section. Turns out multiple cord coil si baby ko kaya ayaw bumaba. My OB is Dr. May Anne Tabaquero. She was super chill kahit na I was freaking out na- she explained everything to me and the hubs talaga. Mabait din mga staff sa HRPU (stayed there for 2 days) and sa 8th floor, pati sa lactation center. Mabilis naman recovery ko and si Doc was very supportive sa desire ko maligo agad after. Haha! Cost wise, mine was a bit higher than usual kasi I was induced then CS plus I was on the meds na pang induce for 2 days pa. Pero worth it kasi if you take away the pain from giving birth, everything and everyone was nice. Lalo na how they implement unang yakap and encourage breastfeeding. Pati Anes ko was talking to me throughout the operation and telling me about the benefits of brrastfeeding- with tips pa.

Basta if your doctor gives you a quote on the cost, always be ready for the highest amount, then put a margin. If di mo naman magamit then at least you already have a Nappy fund agad.

Hi! spent 180k but its all in na- hospital fee, pf of pedia, ob, and anes. i spent 2 nights at the HRPU, which is a bit more expensive than the standard room. Plus 2 days of meds to induce i think is magkano din. will you be giving birth at global? if so, theres a room at the hrpu that has an en suite bathroom ( most of them wala), try to request for that para you and hubby will be comfy in case your baby will take its time. its also bigger than the others.
