^ It's very common in Japan.  Palagi nga ako nagpapabili pag may pupunta sa Japan.  This sunscreen is good for everyday use but i would not recommend it for beach or extreme outdoor use.  My favourite youtuber on skincare is Dr Dray.  She's a dermatologist in the US.  She reviewed the Japanese Nivea & was very impressed by its ingredients & ease of use.

VMV hypoallergenic for me. :)

I get small red spots/rashes with Biore Watery Essence, eventually it goes away. To those who experienced the same thing, what do you recommend as an alternative? Thank you!

^used the Biore Watery Essence for just a few days and it's one of the worst sunscreens I have used. It feels hot on the skin on its own, and pag naarawan, it burns. I also had bumps / whiteheads / clogged pores from using it. Some of them ang tagal nawala. Naging cystic pa yung iba. Sobrang stubborn nung naging spots ko from using it.

Went back to using First Skin Sunscreen from Obagi. I totally love it, good thing available na ulit sya. Pricey but worth it. Never had problems with it. Works well under makeup. Never ako umitim here even with Tret.

Sorry for my ignorance pero ang sunblock ba nakaka clog ng pores? Masyado akong paranoid ngayon maglagay ng kung ano2x sa face ko kasi major breakout ako for two months now. And yung moisturizer na ginagamit ko now walang SPF.

^yes some sunblocks can cause clogged pores. especially those with oily skin types. chemical sunscreens are the culprit most of the time. mas okay ang physical sunscreen for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Physical Sunscreen = titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, other active minerals as main ingredient.

Chemical Sunscreen = oxybenzone, octinoxate, other organic ingredients that produce a chemical reaction when exposed to heat.

hence my bad experience with Biore - which is a chemical sunscreen.

Biore has a physical sunscreen- Yung UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence with BB. Zinc Oxide ang main ingredient.

^ is it? it is touted as a chemical sunscreen rather a physical (mineral) one. checked its ingredients just now. walang zinc oxide?

EDIT: oh you mean the BB / tinted moisturizer with SPF? I was referring to the plain Watery Essence sunscreen. that's what i used. :)

^Thanks sis for explaining. Wow trial and error din pala ang pagpili ng sunblock for skin. Kaloka.  I have combination skin. Oily sa Tzone. And the rest normal naman. I have here yung Sunblock ng La Roche Posay. I?ll check kung Physical Suncreen sha or chemical.

Has anyone tried belo tinted suncreen? How was it? okay ba siya for "ayaw mag make-up" days? There are times kasi na I want to rest my face from cushion since foundation pa rin naman siya.

^Tried it.

Yup. Actually more of a tinted sunscreen siya. I think this is the only Biore variant na physical sa line nila.

The Biore Aqua Rich Watery Gel (blue bottle) has a physical filter which is Titanium Dioxide.  The one in the tube, Aqua Rich Watery Essence has none.  I like the one in bottle more kasi parang less ang alcohol content.

Ako I'm leaning towards tinted moisturizer with SPF na. What I have right now is The Balm Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 18. :(

Anyone here who is also using tinted moisturizer?
