Agree ako regarding reapplication. I was the one who used SPF 130 PA+++ (Sunplay), but still got badly baked. It was my fault kasi I did not reapply every 15-30 minutes :'(

Marketing hype lang ang high SPF. And yun 1oz daw good for ONE application lang sa buong katawan.

---

Super late post about my reviews sa Thinkbaby and Raw Elements (both uses Physical Filters and at least 20% zinc oxide).
Smell - I don't like the smell of Raw Elements, amoy zinc. Yun Thinkbaby parang amoy sunblock na normal, yun pag nasa seawater ka ganun yun smell - imagine Biore Perfect UV line, mas matapang na version nun.
Consistency - Mas mahirap i-spread yun Thinkbaby, mas thick siya.
Color - Colorless zinc sila both so walang white stuff na natitira sa arms ko upon spreading (sa tube white ang lumalabas of course - pag inispread wala na). Mas matapang pa yun white sa Biore and Sunplay.
Effectiveness - may konting sunburn padin, dahil super prone ako to sunburn and I spent 8 hours sa beach for 2 days.

Overall for outdoor activities, good job sila pareho. Mas gusto ko si Thinkbaby because of the smell ng Raw Elements, mas mahirap lang siya i-spread. :) walang wala si sunplay, nivea, vmv sa dalawang to.

muymuy and vanity fair, I used the Snoe sunblock for my face and Sun Sense sunblock for my body. Kelangan pala super reapply. Mga twice lang kasi ako nagapply eh, and almost for whole day sun exposure na yun 11am-3pm.

Naku sis, pag ako nasa water, pahid ako pagka ahon. Habang nagrerest or kwentuhan, nagpapahid ako. Tapos before magtampisaw, pahid ulit. Kinakantyawan nga ako. Kala mo mestisa daw. Hehe

Another tip is to use a "stable" or reputable brand of sunblock if you'll be under the sun for a prolonged time.  VMV, Neutrogena, Obagi, Nivea to name a few.  Personally, i just use a gel sunscreen from Nivea Japan, for everyday use (i just stay indoors all day naman).  If i know that i'll be spending a long time outdoors, Neutrogena or VMV ginagamit ko.  & i also take Heliocare capsules.

^  I don't take it everyday since i always stay indoors. I buy it from Amazon or drugstore.com ... I always have an umbrella or hat.  Wala akong tiwala sa sunblock lang  :)

Ikaw na yata Diyosa ng sunblock. Ang adik mo lang sis sa sunblock,  which is good.

If you have oily skin, Belo is good or Banana Boat.  For dry skin, Nivea sunblock.  They are relatively cheap.   May nabasa ako dati na article na it's better to use a "drugstore" / cheap sunblock than the expensive cosmetic brand sunblock.  Kasi pag mahal yung sunblock, we tend to scrimp on it, tinitipid natin.

10 years ago, my dermatologist friend convinced me to use sunblock everyday.

Kailangan ko talaga to avoid the sun & apply sunblock religously. Ang hirap & mahal alisin ng sunspots & freckles.  Better to avoid na the sun.

In my bag, i have a stick type sunblock.  Madali kasi gamitin pag nasa labas & need to re apply.

for those looking for a sunscreen, esp outdoors (beach, hiking), i recommend reading EWG's guide to sunscreen. nasa worst sunscreen ang ibang products ng banana boat, Coppertone, and Neutrogena. ratzillacosme also reiterated using physical sunscreen for outdoors.

Finally bought Belo's Tinted Sunblock. Oil control compared to Biore (pink), ok lang. Mas magaling pa rin yung Biore. However, what I like about Belo is, the coverage is more natural looking. It did not actully cover my dark spots but it gave much radiance to my face. Biore kasi masyadong white for me and unnatural plus parang nagdrydry yug face ko lalo na kapag gumamit na ako ng foundation ko. Siguro because of the alcohol content. Sa Belo mas magaan siya sa mukha and so far hindi ako nagkarashes. Will test pa Belo, kung compatible siya sa foundie Pixy ko, but so far, I prefer it na than Biore.

^ i was about to ask kung sino na naka-try ng Belo Tinted Sunscreen ;D light lang din siya parang yung regular sunscreen nila? I'll try this pag naubos ko na yung Biore.

^I haven't tried the regular Belo SB so I have no idea what to compare. Pero the tinted moisturizer is lighter than Biore for me.
