Nag change ako ng designer but sya rin gagawa ng suit ni H2B, so valid pa rin downpayment namin. Pero yun nga, nag inflate pa rin yung expense kasi mas mahal yung pinalit ko haha. No regrets tho!

Sa coord naman, personal matter yun na hindi na namin maiiwasan so we had no choice but to look for another kahit nakapag down na kami.

Ang ma aadvice ko ay although it really does happen esp. sa mga kagaya natin na 1year or so pa ang weddings ay nag pplan na, is to be always skeptical when choosing suppliers kahit gaano ka-excited ka pa.

And I agree with sis vitug.annie na kapag na book mo na, wag na titingin pa sa ibang suppliers haha!

^same tyo sis shygirlme.. I received 1 bad review din about my florist sis.. pero 15k for a downpayment hirap akong mag let go.. hahaha! So I just told her about it.. pero malabo din kase mangyare sakin coz im not fuzzy with flowers and im not getting her for the reception naman.

I changed invitation supplier. Mabuti 1k lang ang down payment. I learned from it, na mag search ng magsearch before booking. And check na wag na masyado mag view ng ibang suppliers.

My budget keeps inflating!! I want a 12pc string orchestra to play, harpists during cocktails, and also a choir to sing at the church and reception. I also want a 2nd gown to wear from Rosa Clara. =( =( So many wants and to think my wedding is more than a year away. But I am trying to give up these wants.

H2B has upped our wedding and honeymoon budget and given me an additional amount to work with and told me not to include our wedding rings in the budget. Pero NOOOOO super dyahe ako to H2B to use the budget. Sabi ko no, dont add to the budget let's save it. I really hope I dont end up eating my words.

I told the fiance that we should start our future home renovating project soon, so that I will stop obsessing over wedding details and get into spending for more practical things like our home. We were laughing lang about it when I said that I just might give up the 12pc string orchestra and wedding choir in order to buy a very nice toilet bowl and bathroom sink hahaha

We wanted a choir for our ceremony too to sing the bridal march pero it's categorised na under wants na nga so later na yon.. or baka we'll not consider having one at all.

We budgeted Php 700,000 but I think we're going to reach 850! Eeep. My fiance said that the rule of thumb is you will usually go over by 30% so best to make allowances. A huge chunk went to the venue and food but we also went over for the photographer and videographer. So I'm praying that I find a wedding gown that still fits my budget as well as a mid-range stylist.

for 100 pax, this is our planned budget: 350k-380k with Japan honeymoon!

Here's my initial breakdown:
105,000 for 100 pax - K By Cunanan
21,000 venue rental + electricity etc - Casa Real
25,000 for a custom gown - Bride House PH (or RTW from ivoryandwhite)
38k video coverage etc - Vidlens
35k photo - Ram Marcelo
5k clothing and gas expenses for oot prenup shoot
60k - japan honeymoon expenses (hostels and airbnb places only)
30k - sanctuario de san antonio church
4,000 - invitations and souvenirs at divi or bridal fair
12,000 - three-layer cake by Joy San Gabriel
5k - vintage bridal car (no idea with this yet)
18k - airbrush make up from bride, groom and 2 mothers (bridal fair supplier)
20k - vatel manila flowers
8k - lights, sounds, and projector (no idea, doable ba ito?)
5k - papers, licenses etc (no idea!)
16k - imbitado events with host

i'm trying not to shoulder my entourage's dresses and makeups. will ask it from them as their "gift"
h2b says rings wag daw isama sa budget, hiwalay daw nya yun. yey! pati damit nya at ng mga boys nya, wag daw isama sa budget.

The 5k Vintage car, medyo magdagdag ka dyan.. ang 5k car is toyota vios, elantra level..
20k for vatel manila flowers is their starting rate.. (like super basic) for entourage lang to sis right?
8k for lights and sounds.. dagdag ka din ng konti sis.. cheapest L&S is 10k already.. eto na yung rate nila rejectkrew dati,, Projector is around 5-6k.
is the 3 layer cake all layer edible pala if you dont mind sis?

re: 5k clothing and gas expenses for oot prenup shoot--saan ang venue mo? kadalasan kasi may bayad. so you might need to add a prenup location fee. otherwise, pwede siguro humanap na lang ng mga venues with no/minimal fee lang.

re: photographer, ask him kung may OOT fee for OOT prenup shoot...

re: projector, i got mine with the screen and operator for only 3,500 from my videographer. ask your videographer kung meron sila, kasi ganun ginawa ko.

re: Japan honeymoon on 60k --kung kaya ang 60k for 2 pax, kasama ba dito yung airfare? after your honeymoon, kung makayanan on 60k, tell me how you did it . balak ko rin pumunta kami ng husband ko sa japan in the future.

-eto ata you might forget them:

1. bridal shoes
2. headdress/accessories
3. tokens for your PS--kung gusto mo lang naman
4. musicians--kung gusto mo lang din. otherwise, ok lang naman din mag burn ng sarili mong playlist
5. venue for preparations -usually sa hotel. although wala namang rule na ganito dapat.
6. crew meals-depende sa time ng event mo kung ilang beses yung kelangan mong paghandaan na crew meals

Shocks, ang dami kong na-miss. Thanks sisses!! Hmmmmm. Yung projector wala daw si ram marcelo  at vidlens Tapos yun nga, di pa ako nakakacheck ng mga cars na yan haha! San pala nabibili yung mga gold coins na pinaparada sa simbahan? limot ko na tawag e. shocks, need ko pala iadjust ng maigi. yup, yung 20k sabi ko kay vatel wag sosobra dun. or if may sosobra, sabi ko not more than 23k. tignan ko kung anong kaya nyang ipagkasya dun. test of expertise HAHA kuripot grabe! baka sa metro manila lang kami mag prenup shoot if malaki additional.. feel namin sa UST kasi thomasians kami, dunno lang kung may red tape pa. HAHA!

Crew meals-meaning your whole crew. Coordinators, p/v,makeup artists, lights and sounds crew, driver/s...sama mo na rin yung entourage members na pupunta/magpapaayos sa hotel...

Oh, I see... Anong kadalasang practice for it? You include them sa buffet? Parang awkward pag ibili ko ng jollibee-ish...

-list down everyone who will be present during preps and during reception, some suppliers may require 2 meals, some 1 meal lang.. you might need to allocate a budget for in-between snacks or quick bites.
-you can talk to your caterer and have them included in your headcount as crew meals, it'll be of course cheaper than that of guest plates. kbyc 300/head yata ang crew meals.. let's hear from kbyc brides.. ask mo sis fionaapple kasi kbyc ang crew meals nya..
-a lot cheaper if you order crew meals somewhere else.. mayroon din supplier for this.. and have them delivered in the hotel, or in the reception.. (you will need to clear muna din with the hotel if they allow outside food) otherwise,
-last resort: give your coordinator a budget.. usually P150-P200/head/meal ang budget.. and sila na bahala bumili or kumain kung saan nila gusto..

^our wedding ceremony was held at 10 in the morning and the preparations at the hotel started at 3:30 a.m. So we needed to prepare for breakfast and lunch.

For breakfast, i gave the money to my coordinator. She bought the food nung morning. She brought packed breakfast meals for the crew. tapos i asked her to buy from mcdo (sa eastwood naman hotel ko sa super lapit lang) para sa breakfast ng mga entourage and for me and my husband na din.. our mothers availed of the hotel's breakfast buffet.

for lunch, I gave back-up money to my coordinator also. KbyC offers crew meals at 350/head but my coordinator advised me not to order crew meals anymore. She told me that in her experience, madami talaga food na pineprepare ang KbyC and also because may mga nagcoconfirm na hindi dumadating on the day itself. we paid for 180 pax and 10 kiddie meals.

but since there were about 30 to 40 people who confirmed but chose not to come on the day itself, all our suppliers were included in the buffet and the back-up money for the supposed lunch of our crew was returned by our coordinator after the event. It's true na maraming food ang pineprepare ng KbyC kasi kahit kumain na yung suppliers namin, marami pa rin nauwi yung both families namin.
