I thought 150k is enough para wedding. And now lumolobo na expenses namin ng 300k  .

ganun talaga sis, asahan mo lalampas pa yan ng 300k
so mas ok kung maggawa ka na ng checklist at budget plan mo para stick ka lang sa alloted mong budget for a particular supplier...

Well i thought 400k is enough, ngayon dumoble bigla.. partida wala pa airfare namin don which is around 120k roundtrip.

hehe same tayo ng initial budget sis..nasa kabilang thread ako nung una yung 150 budget wedding..hinde pala kaya if 150 guest mo. ayun going to 400k na kami. pero that's it na, may pa-sobra na yan. pag sumobra pa runaway bride na ko

Grabe, kami din ganyan.  We've breached na nga the 300K mark eh.  Halos 350K na nga kami as of our last accounting.  At, hindi pa kasama ang nasa "nice-to-have" list ko dyan, ah.  *ahuhuhu*
Kaloka much!     Iniisip ko na lang na once-in-a-lifetime event ito, kaya carry on sa preps with a smile pa rin, hehe!  Sayang naman ang moisturizer kung biglang daming frown lines sa big day, di ba?  (yikes!)


Just hoping, though, na everything goes well on the day itself para sulit naman ang pawis at dugo na ipinupundar natin ngayon, di ba? 

p.s. anyone knows what happened to the Tagaytay Wedding thread?...yung last post ng thread11 is August pa eh.  not sure kung nag-move ba or what happened...

^^ how do you manage the expenses? I have excel file that list down all the suppliers I needed, nakalagay yung budget for that particular supplier, the chosen supplier, reservation, downpayment, balances. It helps sa pagbu-budget

kwento ko lang.
nabanggit ko kase kay h2b na medyo torn ako sa pagkuha ng gown sa divi or magpagawa sa budget friendly na designer. sabe ko namamahalan kase ako sa 20k na gown tapos sabe nya ok lang daw kumuha ako ng mahal kase 50k daw ang budget nya sa attire namin. nagulat ako kase di ko alam kung sang lupalop nya nakuha yung idea na afford namin mag-50k na damit. dahil dun pinakita ko sa kanya yung excel sheet ko at sabi nya "ah di ko sinama yang flowers at gift for the minister. ang mahal naman ng flowers! tsaka ano yang crew meals?!"
less than 1 year to go hindi pa rin malinaw sa kanya ang aming wedding budget. haha
to think na business capacity planning ang trabaho nya pero sablay pagdating sa wedding planning/budgeting.

yes sis, an excel sheet would be a very big help. It greatly helped me esp. in monitoring if I would be over & above my budget.
I just want to share my format, here are the columns:

1. Item
2. Supplier
3. Contact #
Budget
      4. Price
      5. Remarks
Actual
      6. Price
      7. Remarks
8. Amount Paid
9. Need to Pay

Same with us, mga sis.  May Excel file kami that i'm in charge of updating and tracking.  This was one of the first things that my Ate gave to me when fiancee and i started to plan for our wedding.

So, aside from the standard columns that y'all have pointed out, naglagay din ako ng columns for my share and another, for his.  We're splitting the entire cost kasi 50-50.  ALso, naka-indicate din dun how much was already given by who and what's the remaining balance for each of us, aside from the total remaining balance payable to the suppliers.

Naka-separate naman yung table ng nice-to-have.  We'll see kung kakayanin pa ng mga bulsa namin ang mga 'yun.  Sana, hehe!

The best guide sheet (budget etc.) I was using came from kasal.com
Their iPlan Tools are very helpful it might be the same for you guys

Ang galing! Kami din 150k yung initial plan namin for 150 guests! Feeling namin enough na yun. Pero catering palang pala halos mapupunta yun! Haist..ngayon, sabi ni H2b, 250 k daw budget namin. Sana enough na talga yun. Kaso our guests habe reached 180!yun lang!

Wedding Supplier, Projected Cost, Actual cost, down payment and date paid, balance, notes.. yan format nung sakin..meron pakong ibang format for other stuff lang contact details lang..and I made mini receipts too for the envelopes kun san ako maglalagay ng money for final payment. Gumawa pakong letterhead namim lol! Very fussy kasi ako at I love paperwork hahaha

sis parang ganito din ginawa ko..tas plan ko yung envelope pa namin may print pa ng monogram namin..hahaha
plan ko rin gawa ng parang acknowledgement receipt na pipirmahan ni supplier pag-abot ng last payment lalo na kung sa wedding na mismo iaabot...to be sure lang na may proof na ako na naabot ko na yung last payment.. kasi baka di na makagawa ng receipt nila sa wedding day...

maganda talaga may monitoring sheet para malaman mo kung magkano pa dapat ipunin at suppliers need.nakakaloka talaga budget kaya enjoy na lang sa preparation
