June 2015 bride here, budget of 150k for 100 guests.  Booked na almost lahat, wala na lang photographer, wedding gown, clothes for entourage (ladies and gentlemen) then wedding rings. But then I prepared myself na baka umabot sha 160-170k pero max na yun.

Sis annasui galing mo naman! Ako sa 2016 pa pero ngayon nagsscout na kami. 150k budget for 100 pax. Nagiinvest ako s P/V, nakalaan kong budget dun sa 35k. Pashare naman kung pano mo nagawa yung pag budget mo?

Sis mostly packages na kase nakuha ko.  Eto breakdown ko as of now:

Reception/Caterer - 53,500 all in na for 100 pax. Included na dito food (soup, vegetable, beef, chicken, pasta, rice, dessert and drink), setup, place, sound system and lights, wedding cake, wine for toast. Good thing na buffet and bottomless drinks. Sa wedding cake, imbes na 3 tiered ginawa namen 1 cake na lang then 75pcs cupcakes dinagdagan namen ng 25pcs plus fee sa box for souvenir. Nag-add lang kame ng 3k. Add na lang kame lechon 500 lang naman corkage tapos plus 3k ulit gusto kase ni fiance ng candy buffet.

Florist for Bouquets - 4k kasama na entourage and sa bridal car (sa reception/caterer na namen kinuha)

Wedding Prep - 3k for 2 rooms dun na rin sa reception

Church - 7k with flower arrangement na

Bridal Car - 6k

HMUA - 15k airbrush na bride and groom, mothers, 4 entourage and free na yung sa flower girl

Invitation - 3,750 for 50 pieces (75 each)

Principal Sponsors - 3k budget since 3 pairs lang naman

Photographer - 15k yung sa imi-meet namen (no video na ayaw namen ni fiance hehe)

Wala pa jan outfit and shoes namin ni fiance, clothes for entourage, wedding rings and misalette.

Garden type yung reception ko tapos may rooms sila available. I'm from San Pedro. Church is in Pacita Complex and the name of the venue is Cafe Ignacia.

Kailangan ba talaga yung missalette?  Do churches require it?

hehe I've asked the same question simply because it's another added worry.

But yes, the priest and the persons involved in the ceremony need the misalette as their guide. As in yun talaga yung binabasa all throughout.

If on a budget, you can just distribute to VIPs, entourage, and who else has participation during the ceremony.

Php30 per misalette yung nakita kong pinakamura. Or you can DIY

Nakakakaloka talaga magbudget, yung mga officemates ko nga may mga nega comment pa kesyo di practical na gagastos ng more than 500k,masyadong maarte,parang sasakyan na daw na bago ang bibilhin etc... True naman talaga, kahit kami ni h2b naooverwhelm sa gastos, pero kahit naman ganon ang magagastos namin     atleast walang regrets... Once lang kami ikakasal, youngest ako,si h2b solong anak so for us every little cents that we spend is very much Worth it at kahit pa sabihin after the wedding negative na ang savings hehe ok lang keribels, madaling magipon ng money pero ang happiness lifetime

Sorry but I wouldn't be happy if I have negative savings after the wedding New beginning yun tapos walang pera? Que horror!
I know people who are like this, some are still paying off their wedding debts after years of marriage. They are obviously not happy.

Hope you're not talking about utang o kaya nakacharge sa credit card ang pangkasal? A wedding is just one day but the marriage is where you can build a lifetime of happiness.

I'm happy na hindi kami magkakautang after wedding. May alloted budget na talaga. Ready na para pambayad. Mahirap din kasi magsimula ng puro utang eh. Sabi nga ni fiance "hindi mo pwede gastusin kahit kailan ang perang wala pa sayo". Thankful ako napaghandaan namin to. Iba iba din talaga tayo ng paniniwala. Yung samin budgeted wedding na tingin ko pero talagang umover sa budget. Haha!

^^ amen. kung napag-ipunan nyo naman talaga sis yung expenses for your wedding at talagang can afford nyo naman, that's good. pero just like sis j.adore said, mahirap magstart na may utang dahil sa wedding. remember you still have bigger bills to pay after like the house, bagong gamit since lilipat na kayo, etc etc.

set ka ng budget mo sis. kasi kung 500k na estimate mo now, it'll get bigger habang papalapit ng papalapit ang wedding day

^totally agree! If there's one thing na iwasan, ay ang ipautang mo ang pangkasal. Mahirap magumpisa in debt. Im a firm believer that the real gastos is AFTER the wedding. Bongga nga ng kasal, gutom ka naman pagkatapos.

Parang unethical naman yung may officemate na magbigay ng negative comments about sa expenses sa sariling kasal nyo. Baka naman inggit lang or not genuinely happy for you 

But I agree sa debt free wedding. That was our number one rule during our preps.

True! Dapat walang utang. Bongga nga ang kasal pero puro utang pala, what's the sense diba? Dapat kahit papano may matira sa couple kahit maliit lang. Mas malaking gastos yung life after the wedding.

Not really a requirement. I my wedding I only printed a few copies. for the priest, readers, my coordinator(friend), us (the couple), for the sponsors (sharing, not all have).

-I just printed out my missalette & placed a ribbon partnering my motif.

Agree din ako na dapat debt-free after the wedding.
if di kaya ng budget ng lavish wedding, why not go for a simple yet beautiful wedding. afterall, same lang din  naman ang ending... you will still be a MRS.
mas masarap magsimula ng walang iniisip na bayarin, kasi baka after ng kasal, yan pa ang pag awayan nio ng asawa mo - ang pagbabayad ng utang!
