sis peachlipstick hindi kasi bonggatious ang kasal. actually nag budget muna ako at yun ang challenge sakin na dapat sa ganun amount lang umabot...mid 2015 pa naman ang plan..and gusto ko 3-6 months lang ang prep since di naman bigatin ang mga supplier. hehe

hi sis..budget namin 100k lang pero we exceeded up to less than 200k (mga 180k++)
here some details:
> Place: In our Backyard = malawak kasi yung space namin
> Catering: From originally 35k nakadiscount kami naging 27.5K nalang pero ginawa nyang 27k nalang.. nagkataon lang kasi na si mother and the caterer same childhood province im not sure what is the connection but anyway atleast naka-discount (including: sounds;videoke -free; flowers arrangement from reception;bouquets; entourage;car and church pati bouquet; cake (5layers); wine; and cupcakes-100pcs; love birds; other things like tables and chairs and etc)
> Video/Photography: from Originally 25k nakadiscount kami naging 22k (coverage something high quality video, with DVD; Pre-nup (with raw pics may soft copy din kayo, edited and non-edited version); Presentation at the reception (content pre-nup shots); guest book; tarpaulin; Photoshoot (from disperas to wedding day edited and non edited soft copy); magazine type ang album namin; with free large fram as in large syempre free na din ang phototak para hindi madaling masira (bale naging dalawa nga ang frame namin kasi the first one na nadeliver nila walang phototak so they make another for free).
>Wedding Dress & AMericana = RTW na yung binili namin worth of 6,500 (including na ang aras; cord-rosary style; pillow and free crown hehe)

sis bea_11 sana nga mabawi sa gifts. hoping kami ni H2B but not expecting  kaka stress lang kasi the not so major suppliers creep up tapos di ka pa pala nag allot ng budget for them. so re-compute ulit. if there's such a thing as a happy stress this would be it.

joining. grabe ang mahal magpakasal. kami most probably 170k for 100pax. as much as possible close family and friends ONLY kasi malaki ang family circle ni h2b.

hi mga sis...from my previous post na around 180++ kami...unlimited visitors kami kasi nga sa backyard lang naman ang set hehe... Tip lang mga bride to be if you want try look for province location or venue mas cheaper kasi...there's a lot of suggestion from kasal.com
may breakdown din ng gastos dun...who's who of the photographer; catering and etc..

pa join! we originally budgeted for less than 500K kaya lang the smaller details that we originally didn't plan for are what's killing the budget! arrrgh! so now yung gastusin namin is slowly climbing up to 700k. and we only have the mid-range suppliers nyan.

- Lights and sounds na included sa package -- you'd learn na hindi daw enough. kung gusto maganda you have to upgrade
- P/V requires us to pay for transportation costs for the engagement shoot
- crew meals for approx 20 suppliers
- yung drinks included in the package ay one round of drinks lang and hindi refillable :-P
- managing your guests lists
- deciding whether to go for quality vs. cost :-D

kaloka! but through it all, it's a fun challenge for me and h2b so mega DIY na kame on other aspects of the wedding and sobrang adventure for us

October bride here. Ours is a Christian wedding na very solemn kaya we only invited our closest family and friends.
Our first target budget is:
150k kasi gusto sana namin ng simple wedding lang for 50pax kaso nabago dahil kailangan ko daw ng entourage. Here's our budget for our wedding:

Wedding Ring: 24k (suarez wedding rings)
Flowers: 6.2k (dangwa florist)
Honeymoon Hotel: 11k (booked it in Agoda kaya huge savings din!)
Airfare: 5k (piso fare that ain't piso)
Catering: 75k for 90pax (c/o Albergus Catering)
Church: 8k (somewhere in QC sad thing though, hindi pa kasama yung flowers dito)
Venue: 5k (strategic yung location ng venue sa aming church kasi across the street lang ito and makakatipid din kami kasi hindi na namin itratransport pa yung mga bisita namin..oha!:)
Wedding gown: 13k (c/o Princess Kisha Boutique)
Groom's Attire: 5k (chinese colar na Barong)
HMU: 10k
Cake: 6k (Cappriserrie)
Church emcee and reception host: 7.5k
Photography (with Prenup) : 10k
Hotel: 15k  (booked in Agoda as well kaya nakatipid kami ng 40%)
Video: 13k
Crew meal budget: 2.5k (Banapple)
Wedding invites and stickers: 2.3k
Souvenirs: 5k
Souvenirs for the principal sponsor: 1.3k
Misc: 5k
Bridal car: 2.1k

Nakatipid ako sa Photography services kasi classmate ko nung College yung photographer na magco-cover samin. Ganun din sa Emcee/Host, magka-schoolmate naman kami nung college kaya yung PF nya presyong kaibigan.
 
Sa souvenirs nakatipid din kami kasi tinahi ko lahat by hand yung mga pouches ng giveaways namin. If bibilhin kasi yung pouches it would cost us 4200 (with the same materials lang din naman).Same din sa giveaways for the Principal Sponsors.

Nakalibre din ako sa damit ng entourage kasi kinausap ko na lahat ng mag-aabay sa akin na sila na ang bahala sa mga damit na susuotin nila at sa mga sarili nila--pumayag naman kaya go!

With the invites naman, since busy kami ni h2b sa pagplaplano and hindi namin maupuan sa computer yung pagde-design, yung Maid of honor ko yung naglayout kaya free and kami na lang nag-edit nung element nung free na kami. Pati yung candles na gagamitin ng Secondary Sponsor and yung bibitbitin ng bible bearer ay icu-customize namin yung design. DIY na artsy farsty.
Kung hindi siguro ako nagcustomize, nagpaka-tipid at naghanap hanap ng sale sa internet  ay lalagpas siguro kami ng 250k. Pero Thank God talaga na hindi.

Update sis ha if the 300k was enough.

My wedding would have 150 guests and my starting budget 300k. We haven't booked much  yet, but my estimate is on 366k na. Looks like yun na naman lahat and included na rin small buffer for miscellaneous. Sana! Basta di ako sumampa 400k sa overall I'm happy na!

Hi sis, so far nasa 312k kami, hehe. Di pa final lahat yan. Hmm, baka magpalit pa nga kami ng venue eh. Anyway, good luck to us!! 70 pax lang guests namin though.

Speaking of guests, my bf was at my niece's 1st bday last weekend. Nung nakita nya kung gano karaming bisita yung pamilya namen, sabi nya wag na daw kami sa probinsya magpakasal Hahaha

A few days after I proposed to my fiancee, my parents asked me how much our budget is.  Ang sagot ko, "Ha? a eh, di pa namin napag-iisipan."  So they gave me some tips and I started with a P200,000 budget.

Then I began to do a bit of research, and the estimate slowly began to climb up to P300,000 (mostly because of taxes and service charges).  And it still hasn't stopped climbing.  In all likelihood, we'll be spending P350,000.

Dati akala ko Church, venue, caterer and P/V lang ang kailangan alalahanin.  Then the little details suddenly appear in the radar and they begin adding up until they reach the 6-digit mark.

By far, "little thing" that I hate the most is the crew meals.  Caterers almost never talk about this, but somehow, the couple is expected to provide for this.

Reading through the threads here, I'm quite shocked as to the number of things people are including as expenses that I haven't even thought about yet - i.e. gifts to principal sponsors, gifts to parents (huh? may birthday and wedding anniv naman sila di ba?), tips to the crew (in addition to feeding them), engagement pictorial (hindi ba pareho lang ito sa prenup?), parents' album, etc., etc.   

Magbawas kaya ako ng guests......hmmmm.....

^list down the negotiable and non-negotiable aspects of your wedding. That will somehow help with the budgeting. Like for us, non-nego ang good food and good sound system. So willing kami mag spend ng malaki dun. Negotiable naman ang prenup/engagement shoot, pwedeng wala na nun if di talaga kaya.

Hi Mr. Punch!

Feeling ko pareho kayo ng pinagdadaanan ng fiancé ko. hehe
Akala din namen keri na yung 200k na budget.. pero nung nag-start na kame mag-canvass, venue at catering pa lang pala namin yun. XD Super package na nga yung kinuha namin na P/V+HMUA all-in pero mukhang lalagpas pa rin kame sa target.
Medyo masakit din sa bulsa yung crew meal kase kahit mag-150Php each pag na-multiply na by 20pax malaki-laki na din siya. Pero syempre malaking factor din sila sa success ng wedding kaya keribels na lang din. Though ang medyo titipirin siguro namin is yung token sa sponsors since lahat naman sila relatives kaya sa palagay ko mas understanding sila. Sa crew tips, depende na lang din siguro kung ano sumobra after ng wedding tsaka mas inclined ako magbigay na lang ng token or basket of goodies.
Mukhang wala namang pinagkaiba yang engagement sa prenup session. Basta may pictorial bago ang kasal ok na yun! haha At yung parents' albums di na kami kumuha nyan. Kase feeling ko aalikabukin lang yan sa bahay. May facebook naman dun na lang nila tignan yung album. Kung kaya mo naman magbawas ng guest, eh go lang. Basta pag-usapan nyo lang ng mabuti.
