Mga sis ok ba magpunta ng Strawberry Farm ng end of Oct?   Baka kasi magpunta kami tapos off season pala magpick or konti pa lang ang bunga, sayang naman.

Sis konti pa lang..wala nga ring masyadong strawberries sa palengke e..Jan-May sis magandang pumunta..mga gulay lang siguro nakatanim ngayon doon..

Ano pong new things to do. New restaurants to try and new sights to see this 2015?

New resto sis? try Calajo sa corner assumption road sa session sa Lopez Building..2nd floor ata ng Planter's Bank. Hubby's been there during their regional meeting at doon sila pinakain ng area manager. P100+ lang daw yung big serving ng veggie salad nila. They also have a variety of shakes.

I've known Calajo since I was a little girl. Branch pa nila was in La Trinidad. They just opened last June here in Baguio at box office ang pila on their opening. Akala ko pila sa bangko, yun pala sa Calajo.

@ sis rheap thanks sa feedback. Sayang, my mom wants to try it pa naman. The last time I've been to Baguio was 2004 pa hindi kasi ako mahilig sa pasyal-lakad mas gusto ko sa beach. Pero reading this thread ang dami ng bago sa Baguio kaya nag-aya ako. Excited na ko sa foodtrip galore. Sana hindi mahaba ang pila sa resto/cafe na madalas ma-mention dito sa thread. Hindi pa naman [textspeak!] peak ang Oct 28-30.

I have eaten in Calajo last week when I was in Baguio. ok naman, madaming servings, medyo matigas lang yung pork na naorder namin ng mga friends ko pero naubos ko pa din, sabik sa pork eh haha. dun kami sa window side naupo. natuwa nga ako kasi overlooking yung poster ng jadine para sa otwol hehe.

nag-enjoy kami sa good taste restaurant, ang lalaki ng servings eh. we ate also at a Korean and Japanese Restaurant in Mabini St. Hodori ang name nung resto. Ang sarap grabe! feel na feel namin ang ambiance at best of all affordable pa siya. We had our dinner naman at Cafe Solibao sa Session Road. I loved it there too. Ang sarap ng food. Yung inorder namin is platter na may mix ng grilled squid, grilled eggplant, fish fillet, liempo, itlog na pula and talbos ng sayote ata yun. sobra busog namin hehe. saya magfood trip sa baguio kaya i keep coming back every year.

Ang hirap pala gumawa ng ITI for 3d/2n for 3 adults and 2 kids. Wala na akong kaalam-alam sa Baguio, 2004 pa ko last na nagpunta. Di ko alam if saan ako magstart. Sa ngayon crossed out na ang Strawberry Farm since di season ng strawberries. My tita and mom gusto magLa Presa but aside from Cafe in the Sky may iba pa ba na pwede gawin or puntahan dun?

^you mean sis, pwede pang pasyalan na malapit sa la presa? Kung may sasakyan kayo, you may want to try dinosaur island sa marcos highway. malapit sa may flyover. May entrance nga lang P350/head. Pero may promo sa metrodeal ngayon. P199 na lang. Children below 3 ft are free. Check mo din reviews doon if you are interested.

If you like arts, maganda din pumunta sa Tam-awan village at BenCab. Pwedeng magpa sketch sa tam-awan for a fee at makikita nyo yung mga sinaunang bahay sa Benguet. Sa BenCab, apart from the paintings, ang ganda din ng view at garden. May entrance fee in both places. P50 ata sa Tam-awan, P100 sa BenCab.

We will try Tam awan and Bencab na lang. Pass na sa Dinosaur Island. Nagpunta na kami sa Dinosaur Island sa Clark last year and the kids were so disappointed. Thanks sa suggestions sis

^ Hi sis, I will recommend La Presa/Cafe in the Sky kasi ako kahit paulit ulit pumunta dun tuwing may visitor ako di ako nagsasawa. I even met the owner of Cafe in the Sky dun during dinner. He was taking pictures.

If you're going to La Presa. I don't suggest going down to the actual shooting place. Go past pa para makita mo yung view ng buong La Presa.

How's the weather in Baguio right now? Me and my office mate will go there next weekend. So excited! Di ko akalain na after just 5 months, makakabalik agad ulit ako sa Baguio. 

I really love Baguio, so early next year I'll go back, this time solo trip na lang. Naka plan na in advance. Probably around January or February.

Our trip is for only 2 days and 1 night. Kaya mega ayos ako ng itinerary namin. The good thing is kabisado ko na mga roads in Baguio. Just hoping na may hotel akong ma-reserve within next week.

Choices ko Bloomfield, City Center Hotel and Hotel 45 (Extension). Along session road lang lahat so convenient. Pero top choice ko si Bloomfield.

Mga sis may nabasa akong blog na pwedeng mag-jeep from Baguio going to La Presa hanggang sa drop off point and from there saka magfx for 150. Do you have an idea kung saan banda ang sakayan ng jeep at kung may oras ba ang byahe?
Or may nakapagtry na ba na magtaxi (de metro), sabi din kasi sa blog 30mins lang ang La Presa from Baguio town proper so roughly 250 pesos ang estimated fare. Pero ang charge daw during that time is around 1k-1500k  dahil uso ang kontratahan nun, balikan rate na yan (the blog was written last dec 2014), ganito pa din ba rate ngayon?

Wala talaga akong kaalam-alam sa place. Nakadepende lang ako sa gt and sa mga blogs. Gusto ko na nga i-skip ang La Presa pero mga tita at mom ko gusto pumunta.

Sis, I've never tried mag jeep then taxi papuntang La Presa. Parang hassle for me and alam ko kakaunti ang taxi sa area na yun (Green Valley)/ Sobrang kaunti ng jeep na nagbabyahe dun at probably by schedule pa, meaning you have to wake up early then pinupuno ang jeep para di sayang ang byahe. Siksikan yun malamang

Until now kontrata pa rin ang prefer ko kasi hassle free. Each time I visit La Presa with guests, I never paid more than 600 pesos. Around 3 to 4 hours yun and nililibre nalang namin ng meal yung driver sa Cafe in the Sky (although hindi required yun and ok lang sa kanila kahit walang meal). Bukod sa relax na eh free pa ang oras. You don't need a whole lof of time sa La Presa. I would suggest sunset then dinner sa Cafe in the Sky because yung lights of the city during the night looks great.

Since tapos na ang shooting, and if mag taxi kayo, alam ko you can ask the driver na i-drive yung sasakyan pababa sa La Presa. May pag ka steep kasi yung daan at nakakapagod ang paakyat after mo bumaba.

^we are planning naman to catch the sunrise pero i'll ask my mom and titas kung ano mas gusto niya since may kasama kaming 3 kids (ages 6, 8 and 9). Hayaan ko sila magtrek ng konti kung morning kami punta or maybe we can just go at 3-4pm para di pa madilim pagdating. Hindi ba delikado pagginabi dun sis baka kasi super foggy at di na gaano visible ang kalsada? And is it true ba na cafe in the sky normally opens daw at 7am but they don't serv food until 8-8:30am? Dito na rin sana kami magbreakfast in case na morning kami pupunta, dami nilang bad reviews sa food lol at madami daw flies. Iiwasan ko na lang din mga food na sinabi sa blog. Pero base sa pictures ang ganda nga ng place and its a must to visit it.

Where you able to book na sis? Kasi Sa City Center Hotel may promo sila na book one night get your next night free till Oct 31, 2015. Nakapaskil lang sa labas ng hotel pero wala sa website nila.

^^ Sis yung jeep papuntang la presa is nasa likod ng Hotel Veniz, may gasoline station sa gilid ng hotel. Diretsohin mo lang yun. Malapit sa bus terminal ng EsoNice. Not so sure if P300/hr p rin ang rate sa taxi sa La Presa. 2 way. Pagalingan na lang sa pakikihaggle. 

About the weather: Weather is great this week. No rain.

Doable naman sis IT mo. About the places you want to eat.
Day 1:
You can have your snack at 50s diner/ Piza Volante Session coz its near Baguio Cathedral. Yun nga lang medyo masikip ang Pizza Volante Session.

Dinner at Good Taste since nasa Burnham na rin lang kayo, walking distance na lang sya from there. Wag na kayong magdinner sa SM kasi yung mga restos dun common ng matatagpuan sa ibang place.

Day 2:
 50's Diner/ Grumpy Joe for lunch or dinner. Malapit lang sila sa isa't isa. If you are not confident sa menu ng Café in the Sky dahil sa reviews.  Papicture na lang kayo doon.

Day 3:
lunch at Ketchup Community since opposite lang sya ng Wright Park. May Pizza Volante din na katabi nya at meron din sa John Hay.

Hi Sis,

Ang bad reviews ng Cafe in the Sky is sa breakfast nila. Kaya I did not recommend mornings. I mentioned these bad reviews na rin sa kanila personally. Kaya I suggest evening sis, don't miss the sunset and the lights of Baguio at night. Mas maganda kaysa sa sunrise. Don't worry about the fog. Hindi naman foggy these days at ang mga taxi sanay sila sa fog

Bencab is closed on Monday sis ha. Not sure kasi kung anong date yung Day 2 ninyo.

Day 3 is very feasibile. Magkakalapit lang ang mga yan and you can be at John Hay in the afternoon.

Place Ketchup Community  sa Day 3 lunch. It's in front of Wright Park. Mangangahas na rin ako to recommend Canto Ribs and Sisig Bagnet sa Rancho Norte (all inside Ketchup Comm.)

Afternoon merienda at Chocolate Batirol at Camp John Hay.

Good taste can be anytime kasi 24 hours sila. Siguro do it sa late lunch ninyo on Day 1.

Personally, di ko irerecommend ang Grumpy Joe, although maraming good reviews. Di ako nag enjoy except for their blueberry cheesecake.

Instead of Pizza Volante, suggest ko ang Zio's Pizzeria and their 4 cheese pizza.

Weather is great these days. Lumalamig na ulit and siguro umuulan ng sandali lang every other day.

For La Presa, pumara nalang kayo ng taxi then sabihin nyo La Presa for 600 pesos. Madami namang mabait na taxi driver dito. Kasi mahirap talaga yung pabalik ng town. Besides, nag die down na rin ang hype ng La Presa after ng teleserye.
