Baguio City Thread 11

first time to travel solo at sa Baguio talaga natripan ko haha pag may tour lang dati kasi sa school ako nakakapunta sa ibang lugar. Last weekend ako pumunta kaloka nabitin ako gusto ko umulit haha pero iipon muna ako napagastos ako ng bongga e Anyways here's my itinerary medyo di nasunod yung original pero swak pa din naman =)

08:30pm   - Byahe

Day 1

02:30am   - early check in tulog muna inantok e.
06:00am   - Baguio Cathedral, breakfast at Zola Cafe,nanuod sa terrace ng opening ng Panagbenga(eto yung nakasira sa itinerary ko)
10:00am - Burnham Park (hapon dapat to kaso sarado kalsada papuntang Minesview kaya palipas oras muna. Lakad, picture,bike. kapagod magbike ng halos isang oras haha!)
11:30am - Wright Park, The Mansion, CJH(try ko sana tree top kaso solo lang ako di masaya).. next time na lang Botanical lumagpas ako e haha.
02:30pm - Late Lunch at Pizza Volante
03:30pm - uwi ulit tulog haha puyat masyado.
06:00pm - SM, Burnham ulit,wagwagan(senti mode sa gabi masarap mamasyal malamig haha) sweetcorn ,binatog, corndog at strawberry cake ng Visco's(sarap!) lang dinner ko tinamad na hanapin oh my gulay.

Day 2
09:30am - Breakfast at 50's Diner(grabe di ko naubos inorder ko)
10:30am - La Presa (huhu kung alam ko lang na nasa Hospital sina Xander doon na lang ako pumunta si Bangky lang nakita ko haha pero worth it din pagpunta ang ganda ng place)
02:30pm - Grotto
03:30pm - Minesview,Good Shepherd (ube jam)
04:30pm - Baguio City Market (iba pa pasalubong)
06:30pm   - left Baguio

hays bitin talaga next time Bencab, Tam-awan, Bell Church, Strawberry Fields naman ang uunahin ko haha

@swtgrl_bee .. haha.. wala talaga kaming kaplano plano kaya ganyan naging itinerary namen.
pagbaba nyo ng bus may information dun.. nag aalok ng mga hotel.. nasa 1500php above yung room rate pwede na magcheck in agad agad sabi nila.. since medyo tight din budget namen at naisip naman na di naman kailangan ng bonggang tulugan kasi tutulugan lang nga.. maghapon ka naman sa labas pero di nangyari samen kasi sarap matulog lamig kasi... we ended up sa Hotel 45. 

Ok naman yung Hotel 45 kinuha namen yung 2 single bed 900 w/o breakfast... pinagdikit na lang namen yung kama. Malinis naman sya. Pwede na sa 24hrs stay.

Next year try namen yung La Presa kung may budget ulet.

Sis missreese, good to know na as early as 6AM may activities na sa Burnham Park. 6AM din arrival namin sa Baguio, baka hindi kami payagan mag early check-in. So Burnham Park nalang muna kami. Yung Good Taste ba na sinubukan niyo sanang kainan yung malapit sa Burnham park? Diyan sana namin balak mag heavy breakfast kapag dating.

Sis, may Good Taste rin na malaki malapit sa Burnham Park. Dun din kami kumain ng breakfast, ang mura! Yung mga silog meals nila Php 75 lang. Pero meron naman silang mga good for sharing. Daming tao kahit umaga pa lang. Di ko maalala kung CHanum St. ba yun.

baka may alam pa kayo accommodation for feb.28-march 2 for 2-4 pax? hirap na kasi maghanap ngayon since panagbenga festival yun. biglaan lang kasi sana meron pa para mapush namin yung plan.

^hotel or transient sis? Meron kami na-rent dati transient, baka available pa sila. Bahay good for 2 to 4 pax. 1k rent natin per night. Very basic yun amenites (tv plus kitchen utensils). Downside malayo sa town.

^may contact number ka sis? ok lang yun since mahirap na talaga maghanap sa town mismo. halos fully booked na lahat ng napaginquire ko.

Sis, try mo yung cosmopolitan hotel. I have family member who works there. Try mo muna contact their number (listed on their website). If wala pa rin, i'll ask my family mem if meron pa. Usually they have info kase sa mga nag cancel ng reservations, etc.

Just came from Baguio (Feb 6-8) for a weekend food trip.

Friday:
12:10 AM - Byahe to Baguio
5:30 AM - Went to the hotel and left our stuff since 2pm pa check in time and our room is not available yet.
7:00 AM - Breakfast at Cafe by the Ruins
12:00 PM - Lunch at Canto - Ketchup Community
*** Gala til 2pm ***
7:00 PM - We're supposed to eat at Alfoncito's but we still felt full so we passed this up.

Saturday:
Breakfast at the hotel
Lunch at Yamashita's
Dinner at Zola's Resto/Cafe

Sunday:
Breakfast at the hotel
** Early check out

The in between meals were spent buying pasalubong and ukay-ukay.

Hi sissies.

Question, during Panagbenga festival yung day mismo ng flower/float parade (march1), may chance ba makapagtaxi or jeep from Session Road going to The Forest Lodge/Camp John Hay? Kahit maraming roads ang closed. Or saan kaya possible makasakay pabalik ng Camp John Hay?

try sana namen sa Good Taste yung tabi ng Mall ata yun.. Kaso parang divisoria sa dami ng tao.. di na namen kaya mag antay kasi gutom na gutom na kami haha.

Sis missreese, anong oras kayo andun tapos ang dami pading tao? Gustong gusto ko talaga i-try dun bilang mahilig ako sa chicken. Hahaha.

True sis swtgrl_bee. Hindi mahilig sa out of town si bf pero he enjoyed the foodtrip. He already has a list of restos that we're gonna try next time.

We'll be in baguio on nov, tagal pa but super excited na ako since last visit ko was 2003 pa, although i lived there for 4 years...grabe di ko na kilala mga nababasa kong restos/establishments dito, sana matry namin lahat..im eyeing the one bedroom suite of le monet hotel for our accomodation (ill be with hubby, 2 kids and yaya) but wait pa ako baka magpromo. Searching pa din for an affordable car rental services coz i dont think kaya namin magcommute lang with 2 kids in tow..

^we'll be staying at Le Monet's one-BR suite too. Just like you tagal ko nang di umaakyat sa Baguio, 20+ years! Marami na din akong walang kilala sa mga name-mention dito. There's this very good coffee place there na pinupuntahan daw talaga that I want to visit. Forgot the name, baka meron nakaka-alam please share. Thanks!

^im actually torn between le monet and the manor, but i think better if le monet na lang coz their rate is inclusive of breakfast buffet na at cheaper pa.. Booked our flights na din sa PAL, atat lang..ill take note of all the recommended must try restos here, gusto ko mag food trip haha

Sobrang worth it ang magfood trip sa Baguio sisses! It's cheaper yet the quality is there. Do try Canto's Lomo ribs...it's to-die-for!
