Was in Baguio din nung weekend. We were there Friday-Sunday. We brought our "Ate"s with us and both sila first-timers sa Baguio so we made time to go to the usual tourist spots din for them.
Ito naman naging itinerary namin:
Day 1
Left Manila around 6am. Stopover for breakfast in Pangasinan.
- First stop was La Presa (Marcos Hi-way kami dumaan paakyat para along the way na)
- From La Presa, dropped by Baguio Cathedral to pray and light candles (panata na namin to drop by the cathedral on the day of our arrival every time nagba-Baguio).
- Late lunch at Mile-Hi Center in CJH. First time ever to try Little John's. Sarap pala ng tapa dun.
- checked in sa condo rental. Natulog, hehe..
- dinner at Cafe Yagam, we tried their Cordilleran food and ok naman. Maganda din ambiance.
- Starbucks at CJH
Day 2
- Mines View Park
- Burnham Park
- public market to buy some pasalubong
- late lunch at Ketchup Food Community. We ended up eating sa Rancho Norte kasi mahaba pa din pila sa Canto at 2pm. Ok din naman kasi masarap ang bagnet sa Rancho.
- Camp John Hay. We treated our Ates to Treetop Adventure. They spent almost 2hrs dun, while me (with hubby and baby) e naglatag ng banig at naglaro at nagpahinga sa damuhan. Hehe..
- dinner at Cafe by the Ruins Dua. First time to try their new branch and we liked it kasi mas maluwag and mas maliwanag
Day 3
- checked out at 10am
- mass at St. Joseph's
- lunch at Amare La Cucina. Sarap ng pizza (generous toppings, crunchy thin crust) and ribs (malasa and tender ang meat). Carbonara was good din, near-authentic, not the usual Filipino-style na creamy/milky.
- The Mansion and Wright Park
- left Baguio before 3pm, via Kennon Road naman para maka-photoop ang mga Ate sa lion's head.
Success ang target namin to try more new restos for this trip. Lahat ng kinainan namin ng lunch & dinner e puros first-time namin. Plus, naipasyal din namin sila Ate sa mga tourist spots so everybody happy.
