@blythe07 - go to Cafe by the Ruins daytime if you're with family, night time if you're with a special someone for a more romantic vibe. And don't forget to try their pastries!

Sa mga naka try na sa Le Monet, may malalapit bang cozy bars and restaurants sa area?
And if we want to go places like Mines View, Downtown, Camp John etc.. madali lang ba ang transpo?

By the way, when I checked their website and mag try sana akong magbook ng room, bakit wala akong makitang room options?  Laging Twin De Luxe agad ang selected.

^ Inside Camp John Hay (where Le Monet is) maraming restaurants and food options Right beside the hotel there's a Filling Station. You can go to Mile-Hi center at the back of the Manor. You can also walk to Baguio Technohub. Easy to get a cab from the hotel naman so di ka mahihirapan lumabas if you need to. Not sure about the room options. When my mom and I checked in there, we got the twin deluxe din. Maybe you can try calling or emailing them Hope this helps!

May bagong place to be in Baguio. The Camp, located in Leonard Wood malapit sa Teacher's Camp. Di pa ako nakakapunta but my sister went there already. Sabi nya may 2 or 3 bars ata dun. One is Sala - mostly for students (Ii saw the picture and it was really nice, frames of paintings and different cool images are hanged on the ceiling. So actually, ang ceiling mo is photo frames.)

Another na nasa The Camp din is "Just Another D*mn Good Sick Joint". And yes, that's the name of the bar. This one naman is for yuppies.

You can check their FB pages kasi wala pa talaga akong mashashare na info about these new bars/ cafes in town.

was at Baguio last weekend. We stayed sa La Brea Inn.

Tinatamad ako magpost sa blog. so dito muna. haha

Rooms at La Brea- 1,200up per night - clean rooms, medyo mahina ang water sa heater, spacious ang rooms, nice ang staff, malapit din sa mga kainan.

Mode of transportation - taxi. taxi. taxi. taxi everywhere. hahaha

Mines View Park - maraming bilihan ng souvenirs. meron din inihaw na pusit. picture with boomer, St.bernard dog, 50pesos for 2poses. Meron din horse, 10pesos per picture.
Wright Park- horseback riding - 300pesos/hr and 200pesos for 30minutes
Burnham Park- boating, 100 for 30 mins plus 50pesos if gusto mo ng tiga-sagwan. biking, i forgot the rates.

Night Market- outside ng Burnham Park. 9pm to 4am.

Kiwi's bread and pastry shop- near mines view. baliw na baliw si mil sa mga tinapay dito. super sarap and very mura. a kiwi muffin costs 25pesos and malaki yung muffin.

Chef at home - sarap and mura. the owner is very nice. they are opening anew branch daw here sa manila.

Buffet breakfast at Le monet - not satisfied. h2b and his brothers are both chef and they were both not satisfied

Canto - to die for ang ribs!!! 350 pesos for a full slab, mashed potato and salad. promise. hindi kayo magsisisi. haha.

Bilihan ng pasalubong - marami sa may terminal ng ordinary bus ng Victory Liner.

^ordinary days sis ok na walk in. Peak seasons? Mahirap makakita ng walk in, baka kung transient house may makita ka pa. Baka nga pag nagtawag ka na for Christmas vacay fully booked na usually so book in advanced.

^thanks by nov.3-5 pa naman yung trip namin pagdating pa ni hubby ko. peak season na kayo yon? we are considering la brea din kasi because of the location.

^i suggest that you call na lang kasi mahirap yung dadating kayo hindi niyo alam saan kayo mag rest. You may also want to try hotel 45 budget friendly din naman sis. Good location din. They have 2 branches as well.

yes we are also thinking hotel 45 extension.malapit lang daw kasi sa sm. do they allow early check in kaya?

Ako I really love Baguio. I always go there twice or thrice a year. We always rent the transient house in Cuneta compound (near the mines view). Last Feb. natryp namin yung Ketchup Republic, ang daming tao kaya d namin nakainan yung gusto naming kainan

Late post - sabi dati uulanin yung October 4-6 (long weekend) pero hindi naman.  Madaling araw lang umuulan tapos pagdating ng 6am wala na.  We stayed ulit sa Azalea Residences.
