disneyland vs universal studios vs six flags

Mga sis para sainyo alin sa 3 ang best theme park ever? Share your thoughts and experiences.  Ive been to disneyland anaheim 10 yrs ago honestly yung pamangkin ko ang nag enjoy ako di masyado. Been to universal studios naman in sg with my husband and enjoy na enjoy kami. Six flags naman hindi ako nakasama last yr sa family ko. Sabi ko pag nag 5 yrs old itong daughter ko gusto ko sya dalhin sa hk disneyland. Wanna hear your opinions girls

I have never been to Six Flags kasi mukhang di ko carry ang rides.ha!ha!
But i have been to Anaheim,Disneyland and Universal Studios countless times already.
Been to HK and Japan Disneyland once and Universal studios, singapore, once also.

Dahil young at heart ako, at fave also ng mga kids ko ang Anaheim, Disneyland with matching Disney California Adventure Park will be the best. O ur latest visit was last november 2013, and they have the 3 Princesses na talking to kids na one on one and not just photo-op kaya enjoy and magical for kids. Mas fun also pag going into Christmas holidays kasi they have fake snow at the end of the night and mas maganda also yung parade.

Medyo napangitan talaga ako sa Disneyland HK. pero for kids oks pa rin disneyland kahit HK only, happy place pa din.

You might want to add also Legoland, california. There's also Legoland kasi sa Malaysia.

among Disney, Universal and Legoland, pinaka not worth it si Legoland pero pwede na pagtyagaan.he!he!

I haven't been to Six Flags but if I had to choose--Disneyland. Disneyland over California Adventure and over Universal Studios. Disneyland because it's the first Disney theme park, it's bigger and it has more attractions. And it's the prettiest.

But then again, California Adventure has the Tower of Terror, which is my favorite ride in all of the theme parks. Ever.

I actually like Universal too. For me, what it has that can never, ever be duplicated is their Studio Tour. Their rides are fun too especially The Mummy, The Simpsons, Jurassic Park and their new Despicable Me Minion ride (ang cute nito!). Then come 2015 or 2016 ata, they'll have Harry Potter na rin. So yayyy.

Just go to all three! Haha. Mahihilo ka lang kakapili.

Universal studios . Legoland- WOTM ( waste of time and money)

I have to agree with Legoland, medyo waste of time and money nga.ha!ha!ha! Ang layo pa naman ng travel namin from LA to Legoland. Parang pinalaking Enchanted Kingdom although may isang ride dun na ang saya-saya, super basa nga lang at the end of the ride kasi nagbabarilan kayo ng water. But it's super fun.

Universal studios over disneyland for me. Although i haven't been to six flags. Parang ok na 2x nakapag disney. But i prefer disney world orlando over L.A. as well as universal mas ok sa orlando. Feeling ko i won't get tired of universal studios 😊

I've been to Disneyland in Anaheim and Hong Kong and Universal Studios Hollywood and Sg. I prefer Disneyland. Happiest place on earth for me.

For me, nothing beats the happiest place on earth. Especially I have a daughter, super enjoy sya lagi whenever we go to Disneyland. Her dream daw is to become Disney princess someday. Actually napuntahan na namin lahat ng Disneyland and my favorite's the one in Anaheim.

I've been to Disneyland anaheim, di ko masyado naenjoy.. for me its very pambata.. Been also to Universal studios singapore,, we really enjoyed including my husband.. about legoland, ok naman coz my son really loves lego.. he said he enjoyed naman and my daughter, she really enjoyed the rides, so it depends kung ano hilig ng kids.

I chose to differ. I am eyeing for Universal Studios Japan and Tokyo Disneyland.

Six flags is more appropriate for teenagers and young adults.  You have to have a strong stomach and no fear of heights to enjoy the rides.  And I think of the 3, ito ang cheapest if tickets are purchased online, it's $25 off the gate price.   Meron din silang area for little kids pero not as many rides and activities as the other 2.  I took my grandson, niece and nephews last month and they liked it esp the house where foam balls are shot from toy cannons.
Personally I like California Adventure better than Disneyland.  Wow ang galing ng recreation nila ng Radiator Springs, feel ko parang I was inside the movie itself.
Universal studios naman, ok yung mga virtual rides nila esp the Transformers and the Mummy Returns.  Just be careful you don't get a whiplash or neck injury kasi it's really dark so you don't know where it's going and the rides have sudden turns.

For me, Disneyland pa rin. I've been to all three sa States pero pinakanag-enjoy ako sa Disneyland. My teen boy cousins enjoyed Six Flags talaga and siguro I was too old na when I went kasi medyo nastress ako sa ibang rides. Medyo nalula lang ako.

Sa Disneyland, may kiddie rides pero may mga adult rides din. Dami ring places to shop, okay yung food and maraming Disney characters you can take pictures with. Enjoy din yung fireworks tapos you can always hop into California Adventure if you prefer more daring rides.

Sa Universal Studios, I've been there a few times na kasi pag may mga bumibisita, dun pinakamadaling dalhin. Kasi I think mas mura siya ng konti kasi maraming discount sa mga Coke cans. Not sure kung meron pa rin yun ngayon. Anyway, parang ang konti kasi ng magagawa sa Universal Studios compared sa Disneyland. Ganun din yung Six Flags. I think kaya talaga ng 1 day, unlike sa Disneyland, parang kulang yung 1 day para maikot mo lahat.

Just came back from Disney Orlando and Universal Orlando and I would say I prefer Disney, based on overall experience. Universal is relatively smaller thou so a lot more manageable, whereas with just 1 disney park, we are there from opening till closing (9am-10/11pm). my kid even likes disney better. but have friends whose kids are arounf 9 and 6yrs old who liked universal better.

If you like thrill rides, then it has to be six flags or universal. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, it has to be universal. The newly opened Hogsmead and Diagon Alley at universal is really breath taking. The rides at harry potter area are considered thrill rides. tere are lots of 3d/4d rides at universal like minion mayhem that made me dizzy after. The mummy rides is dark ride with major drops and turns. Was supposed to go to six flags last year to go camping, but never got the chance to. Universal and six flags cater to teens and young adults, mature audience. the downtown area of universal is not as big as disney's although it has good choices for food, shopping and entertainment.

If you grew up watching mickey mouse, disney movies, princess', it has to be disney. the rides are a mix of pang bata and pang teens/adult. I enjoyed  the little mermaid ride even if it is for kids. Disney also have simulated 3d/4d rides like soarin and star tours etc. the newest ride is 7 mine dwarf train which a mini roller coaster. Indoor parades and indoor/outdoor shows at disney are also a lot better. Really enjoyed festival of the lion king. Fantasmic at hollywooood studios gave me goosebumps. even my parents enjoyed this show. The firework is also a lot bigger. If you have you have younger children, Frozen is the new attraction at disney and you get to meet elsa and anna in person for pictures and autograph. There a mix of things to do and good restaurants to eat. Really good shopping experience too. downtown disney is under construction right now, but again, this is a lot better and bigger compared to that of universal.

Character meet and greet is a plenty at disney. the only character at universal are shrek and fiona, captain america, bumblee and optimus prime, gru and the girls, storm, rouge, cyclops + dora and diego (at the parade). We got pictures of the princess' + disney charaters + woody and buzz, etc at disney which even I enjoyed so much. we saw the characters at fantasmic and at the noon and nightly parades also.

Cant wait to go back to disney orlando.

Never been to Disneyland California Adventure. But the Walt Disney World in Florida is so worth itttttt alsooo. Ahhhhh I miss this. Paparenew na lang my passports next year hehe then fly fly na again!

wala nga sa option yung pinakafavorite ko, ocean park sa hongkong. ang crazy lang ng rides. pag nasa disneyland hongkong kasi ako naiiyak ako, nakaka emo yung feeling. ive been in disneyland hk mga 4x na, tapos sa universal, 2x na nung nagsingapore kami. ayun, ok naman enjoy yung rides na battlestar galactica. haha! im really into rides at di ako takot sa heights. sabi nga ng mama ko, baka daw ito pa ikamatay ko. pero sabi ko naman, kung eto man, at least i'll die happy. lol

Been to all 3 and I must say it was a dream come true when I went to Disney World Florida (4 Disney parks in total). Spent an average of 10-12 hours per day visiting each of the parks and I really enjoyed everything that Disney parks have to offer. Nonetheless, visiting Universal Studios (2 parks) is also a dream come true. Least fave ko ang Six Flags.

California Adventures is the best for me! Well, Disneyland Anaheim. Spent 3 days there. At first, I don't like theme parks talaga. Hindi mo ako mapapasakay sa mga rides. But then, dahil YOLO ako, go, try! And I liked it! But among Disneyland and Cali adventures, I like Cali adventures more dahil sa Tower of Terror

I was in Universal Studios Hollywood a week ago and we were lucky that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was on "soft" opening (i.e., test runs).  The Forbidden Journey ride is awesome.

I think if you're in the LA area, pinaka sulit pa rin ang Universal Studios.  Especially the VIP pass. Pricey but you never have to line up, plus buffet breakfast and buffet lunch included!
