@Itsmai.Shop in terms of communication siguro sa mga supplier syempre may mga bookings na sila na naka-book or may mga sched sila na sinusunod, as a client, we should give way din na if you want to meet them dapat halfway yung hindi lang sa comfort nating mga client, kapag direct ka sa mga supplier expect natin na last year pa lang kumpleto na ang bookings nila buong taon

give and take yan, wag tayo masyado magdemand kasi unang una tayo ang may kailangan sa services nila nasa sa atin na lang kung ipupush natin ang booking with them, kung nagkakaproblema tayo sa kanila edi hanap agad ng ibang stylist. as easy as A-B-C

^^^ sa negosyo wala siguro dapat yun mentalidad na sino ang may kailangan dahil ang mga serbisyo at produkto hindi naman libre, binabayran. Masyadong arogante naman ang negosyante na ang ayaw ng kliyente. Ayun nga lang ganyan na nga kalakaran at ugali ng mga ibang suppliers ngayon. True, pag hindi ok sa pakiramdam wag nang kunin na supplier.

I'm planning for an intimate party lang for my son's first birthday in a small restaurant/cafe mga 50pax okay na, di kasi kasali ang set-up sa package although the resto itself naman is maganda naman. Ayoko naman mag-spend ng 30k+ for a styling lalabas halos same lang ng pckage namin sa resto and also hindi naman complicated theme ng party pero still gusto ko sana style ng konti ang venue.

Meron kaya stylist nagha-handle ng really small party lang and simple but classy set-up na di naman bonggang mahal? Pwede nga din DIY eh i'm thinking lang pagod naman if ako pa mag-asikaso ng set-up, pwede kaya mag-hire na lang manpower so labor lang all the ideas and materials provided namin? Meron ba ganun? hehe

Just had my daughter’s 1st Birthday party. I booked Pink n Peach as my stylist. Although there setup is OK, marami akong sakit ng ulo with this supplier.  I have actually read bad review on this stylist online but ignored that kase matagal na at baka nagbago na. Pero may iba na totoo din pala. Here are my experiences with this supplier…

1.   The owner is not very accommodating to queries. She doesn’t know how to deal with her customers (medyo masungit sumagot).  Initially, nag-agree na kami sa backdrop na gagamitin for my daughter’s party. And we booked them because of the backdrop kase match na match siya sa theme namin. Then 2weeks before the party, I followed up with her – and then that’s the time lang na sinabi niya na hindi na available yung backdrop. She just told me na tinanggal na niya sa backdrop artist niya yung gumawa ng backdrop that we initially agreed to use because of some incidents na nangyari sa isang event niya. Then she immediately told me that “I can refund if you don’t like the available backdrops that we have” “You can check other suppliers”. Wala man lang, “We are deeply sorry then here are the options that I can offer”.  And sana she informed me din ahead kase super head ache ako nung nalaman ko yun, to think na 2weeks nalang before my daughter’s Birthday! Pinilit ko maging calm kase alam ko na wala na akong makikitang supplier in 2weeks time. And then nag settle nalang ako sa available nilang backdrop because I don’t have a choice… 

2.   Wala sa venue during the actual event yung owner na si Aileen Cruz or kahit na sinong head! And they are LATE! The party will start at 9:30am. I went to the venue 9am and nag sesetup palang sila ng backdrop!    Ang sabi ng candy buffet supplier ko, kararating lang nila! Wala akong makausap sa venue na head ng Pink n Peach to ask kung anong nangyari bakit sila late and kung pwd mag double time na sila! I just talked to the people na nag sesetup na bilisan na nila kase 9:30am ang start ng party – it looks like na hindi nila alam yung party start time kase ang bagal pa nila. The owner clearly told me that they will start to setup 6am. Pero hindi nangyari. If ever pala na hindi ako maaga sa venue, lagot na! 

3.   After the party, Pink n Peach is nowhere to be found! Nakapagtanggal na ng setup yung caterer and candy  buffet ko, sila wala pa rin sa venue. I called Aileen and she said, papunta na daw yung mga tao niya – nag setup lang daw sa ibang venue! Hanggang sa yung staff na ng venue ang nagtanggal ng setup nila and iniwan nalang sa labas! Tama ba naman yan? We really said na pag may nasira sa backdrop nila, we will not pay for it! 

If you are an OC mommy, I suggest for you to think twice/thrice in booking Pink n Peach. Based from my experience with them, They don’t have sense of accountability sa mga events nila and they have poor customer service...

^^so sad you had a bad experience with them. I'm super OC, not just as a Mum but as a person in general, but I never had any problems with Pink n Peach. Our party went swimmingly - they were on time, met Aileen in person as well because she made sure everything was okay (like I said, I'm super OC), and they certainly were the ones that took all the decorations down. Their staff were super friendly to me and our guests too.

Hi mommies, can you recommend any stylist who cater outside Manila? I've tried contacting Party Dish they replied on my query tapos after asking if they can work with my set budget di na ako sinagot. Sparks + Twinkle not yet replying. Dianne Khu is not available on my date but very accomodating. Pink and Peach naman 35k for backdrop and non-balloon ceiling wala pang centerpiece etc. What do you think? Thanks mommies.

Hello ladies, anyone here who recently worked with party magic or kidstar castles? How are their rates like? Starting to plan for my son's 1st birthday and I have those 2 stylists in mind.

Just had my daughter's birthday party last sunday. Dissapointed lang ako with the styling. Our rate is 20k. I suggest when hiring a stylist make sure magpa sketch/illustrate kayo and draw and specify everything in writing, para you know what to expect. My stylist did not present any sketch or visualization of how she will do the venue, just verbal, she initially said she will present a mood board but during our meeting wala, mabait naman kausap and I told her since I like her works in her facebook site, I trust that the venue will turn out beautiful.
It is beautiful indeed but very simple na parang walang effort, not that beautiful like the ones posted in her facebook, but then again maybe dahil cheap 20k lang ang package ko? I don't know how cheap is cheap and how expensive her beautiful works were dahil di naman ako every year nagpapaparty. I was so excited for that day na "surprise!" Pero it was a let down. Di rin kase very responsive, it takes a while for her to reply. Kahit near na ang party, i was the one who even asked if she'll be needing photos of my daughter.
I asked her why there were no paper decors for the desserts that i have specified 3 weeks earlier, she said nakalimutan daw nya.
Not badmouthing, pero siguro as the client para secure kayo, lahat ispecify sa stylist, not just decors for "backdrop" "cake table" etc na wala specifcations.  😟

I hired She Dream in Ink for my son's birthday and it turned out beautiful! I had really high expectations too as I've had the idea for the theme well before I found out the gender of my son!

I hired Purple Pink Treats for my daughters first birthday. The venue decorations was very pretty. I did not expect that it would be that beautiful. Their Candy and Dessert buffet was also a hit.

Hi mommy, I'm so sorry to hear about your experience with Pink & Peach. I hired her for my daughter's first birthday party too and I'm relief na di ko yan experience with her except for the 1st one siguro.... medyo hindi nga sya accommodating sa queries...

Overall happy naman kami with Pink & Peach's outcome and service, the set-up of the place was very nice. We got the cheapest package na good for 100pax only but the place we rented was good for 150pax and di nila kami tinipid sa balloons and we're very satisfied with the setup.

Yes mommy, Ms. Aileen wasn't there din po on my daughter's party kahit set-up time never sya nagvisit but contrary po to your experience, the team she assigned with me was very efficient. They came super early, 9am pa lang nasa venue na sila e yun set-up time namin was supposed to be 12noon pa so I asked the venue if they can let them in already to start setting up and buti pumayag naman si venue at additional charge lang / deduction from the security bond.

The team po that was assigned with me stayed the whole time. So when the party was over, they started cleaning up asap. Natapos na po sila agad in less than the clean-up time.

Having a hard time deciding between Party Magic and Spark + Twinkle. I got a reply na from Michelle of Partymagic but cannot contact Kathleen of Spark + Twinkle. Need to compare pa naman their rates. Anyone having a hard time contacting Kathleen also?

Done with my son's 1st birthday party last january 10. My stylist is With a Flourish. Miss Sarah is so accommodating from start to finish of our planning. May times na ang tagal niya mag reply siguro kasi busy. Overall i'm so so happy with the outcome.

^Sarah is a friend of mine from college and I've been seeing her work on FB. Wanna try out nga With A Flourish, maybe during my baby's 1st birthday nalang. With her binyag I'm keeping it simple lang. Nice to hear good feedback about her and her business!
