here's our DIY itinerary last March.

Day 1 - Arrival at Incheon to Dongmyo. Since we arrived late, we didn't have enough time and energy to stroll around.
Day 2 - My family had a different itinerary compared to our group, they went to DMZ.  We have our 6 y/o daughter with us, she's not allowed pa for the tour.
Hongdae: Trick Eye Museum, Hello Kitty Cafe, Namsan Tower, and Myeongdong shopping
Day 3 - Nami Island
Day 4 - Everland then Myeongdong shopping again
Day 5 - Myeongdong shopping/Lotte Department Store

We loaded up in winter clothes, true enough super lamig kasi tail end pa ng winter. We experienced 1 degree. All in expense (less shopping) kasya ang 20K per pax.

Might plan again for SoKor trip since we were granted multiple visa.

But anybody tried AirAsia going to Incheon?

Mga sis who have stayed in the myeongdong and hongdae areas, ano reco niyo na restos dun? Or kahit saan sa Seoul na worth it na puntahan for food? TIA:)

sis, puntahan mo Myeongdong Kyoja at Yoogane. The best!

@aquatica: tried it nung april. Pabago-bago oras ng flights namin... Tapos sa day mismo, nung check in na sa airport sinabihan kami baka 4 hours made-delay. Which happened nga naman, 2am flight tapos almost 7am na umalis. Hassle lang tambay sa airport madaling araw.

^sis aquatica, tried airasia din last June, same kay sis u8mypinkcookies nabago din yung sked namin from 12 midnight flight naging 2am flight, pero yun lang naman. Okay naman di naman kami na delayed.

i am torn between Cebu Pac and Air Asia kasi. Ang laki kasi ng fare difference nila. Hubby kasi is worried to take Air Asia because of the previous news (technical problems sa domestic flights)....

^ cebu pac pa rin ako hehe so fra, bihira ma-delay (less than 1 hour na ata pinakamatagal nung nagka-delay kami). Malas namin sa air asia e. Before nag-KL din kami via Air Asia, delayed naman ng 2 hours

I am seeking help if this iti is possible or may mga dapat pa bang puntahan or pwede naman i-squeeze in sa isang araw lang yung ibang palace.

We may or may not avail of DMZ tour. It depends pa din kasi. But these are the places we want to visit in Korea.

TIA for those who will help with my iti. It's kind'a early for this but it's nice to be prepared as early as possible.  (excited mode lang kasi)

Nasa tapat [textspeak!] ng Gyeongbokgung Palace yung King Sejong statue, then konting lakad malapit na din sa Cheonggyecheon Stream. Pwede na to ng same day

Pinagpipilian ko kasi yung mga Ski Resort na ito. Any idea?
* Bears Town Ski Resort
* Star Hill Resort
* Jisan Forest Ski Resort
* Yongpyong Ski Resort

Also, ano and difference between Gyeongbukgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace? Iniisip ko kasi na isang palace is enough for the trip. TIA!

^sis I'm not familiar with Bears Town Ski Resort and Star Hill Resort. Yung Yongpyeong Ski Resort medyo malayo sa Seoul to, nasa gangwon-do na sya. Yung Jisan mas malapit sa Seoul yan, nasa Gyeonggi-do sya.

Gyeongbukgung sis yang ang main palace during the joseon era. Sya ang pinaka malaki. Tsaka pwede ka makapanood ng changing of the royal guards ceremony dito. Changdeokgung naman unesco world heritage site sya at famous dahil sa secret garden

^sis magkaiba ang charm ng 2 palace, i think mas prettier ang changdeok palace and secret garden.....andun yung anti aging door hehe.....i think it's still best to go to changdeok palace na may tour para magets mo lahat ng symbols and relevance ng rooms.....with gyeongbuk kasi we didn't get a tour so parang diy lang hindi namin nasavor yung symbols and relevance ng rooms

Why don't you go to both palaces? Magkalapit lang yan. O kaya manood ka muna ng changing of the royal guard ceremony sa gyeongbok, tapos sa changdeok ka na mag palace tour talaga

Help!

I am in the process of completing my requirements for my tourist visa. Two of the requirements for a student like me are my parent's COE and ITR. My dad is a retiree. We went to SSS to request a certification sana that my dad is a retiree-pensioner and the mataray na staff said na they don't grant such request without a letter from the Embassy daw. Anyone here who experienced the same? I already have my dad's bank certificate, my certificate of enrollment and also my bank certificate.
