Ok, I was debating wether to dye my hair jet black, reddish brown, or light brown, so I ended up searching for a black hair dye. Another suggestion is L'oreal feria (but haven;t search further about the fading issue)

Madaming L'oreal feria black eh, (black leather, moonlight, etc... di ko sure yung best black among those) and I don't know if available sa Philippine market. Baka sa SnR kung wala talaga (?)

May naka-try na ba na mag-color using henna, and then sa next time na nagpa-kulay e chemical-based colorants like L'Oreal and Revlon naman yung ginamit?  Tumatalab pa ba yung color nung L'Oreal and Revlon kahit na gumamit ka ng henna nung previous hair coloring session?

Di ko balak magpa-lighten ng hair color, gusto ko lang matakpan yung mga puting buhok ko.  I've never colored my hair before, and worried ako na baka masira siya pag tipong L-Oreal and the like yung gamitin ko.

Black yung natural hair color ko pero hindi siya yung jet black.  Ang shades daw ng henna are black, deep brown and light brown, and may nagsabi na deep brown daw yung gamitin to color hair kasi pag yung black daw e super itim daw ng labas.  Kaya ba nung deep brown na henna na takpan yung mga puting buhok?

Loving my hair color now - Revlon Medium Ash Blonde. It turned light ash brown on me.

Kolours yung nicest sa mga boxed hair colors na natry ko, dito lang hindi nadry hair ko after irinse. B1t1 siya nung nabili ko.

In my experience, yes kaya ng deep brown henna takpan ang mga puting buhok.

Used Mondes Tone Corrector in Ash to lessen the orange and red tones of my hair color. I don't see a drastic "correction", but it did lessen the unwanted tones, turning my color into an ashier shade of brown.

Napansin ko na madami na nagpapadark ng buhok, madalas nga black. Di na kaya uso light colored hair next year?

^ hmm.. sa environment ko sis is typical blonde pa rin.. unfortunately, they still make it look tacky. haha!

Just got my hair dyed.. its a mahogany brown, na only in light, you can see it's red It doesnt show up sa pictures rin..
tssk too muted yung red. oh well, next time haha

i dyed my hair about a month ago ng burgundy, i love the color. kaso unti unti nagfefade sya every wash, kahit na yung kerastase bain chroma captive pa gamit ko na shampoo. i even bought yung mask.. oh well, kahit naman sa water ko lang sya i-rinse e nagfefade pa rin.. ganun siguro talaga.

i tired yung dry shampoo kasi napupunta sa anit ko.. hehe at mabigat sa ulo din..

now, brown na sya, hindi sya makalawang na brown which i like.

any advice para hindi agad magfade?

^Nice hair sis! Unfortunately, red hair color is usually the fastest to fade. I know someone who mixes manic panic red dye sa conditioner nya para maglast yung color. Cheapest option will be mixing your shampoo and conditioner with food coloring. Have you also tried using sulfate-free shampoo, sis? Effective siya sakin kasi yung ombre ko na ash blonde hindi naging brassy for almost 1 year hanggang sa ako na yung nagsawa. Now, red violet yung hair ko and I really love it! Vampy ang itsura. DIY lang using Shine Moist Henna Wax in Cyclamen and Burgundy Red. Pinaghalo ko lang sila. Try mo rin kung gusto mo ibalik yung burgundy hair mo without damaging your hair pero I suggest ihalo mo siya sa Cyclamen kasi yung burgundy masyadong warm, it can look orangey pag nag-fade.

^thanks sis. actually ang nakalagay sa kerastase na yun is sulfate free daw sya. i also alternate it with nature's gate na sulfate free shampoo din. tapos conditioner ko is verdon hair spa.

ang problema ko sa conditioner (i use verdon and lolane hair mask as a conditioner) is nagbabalakubak yung scalp ko kaya sa hair ko lang talaga sya nilalagay.

itry ko nga yang red food coloring sa shampoo and conditioner ko. kelangan pa ibabad sis?

baka next month ako mag dye ulit. i use yung lolane burgundy. 2 boxes nun.. so yang shine moist cyclamen henna wax, pwede ko imix mismo dun sa hair dye ko before ipahid sa hair?

permanent pa rin ba ang effect sis? i mean hindi gaano kadaling magfade?

Same tayo sis nag-dandruff din ako sa Lolane Hair Mask when I used it before. Best bet ko na conditioner na gamitin mo is from HHN yung Professional Hair Salon variant. Maganda yun kasi malambot sa hair, no dandruff and it's sulfate-free pa. Amoy coconut oil nga lang siya.

Regarding food coloring, I suggest yung Ferna na brand. Mas pigmented yun than McCormick. Yung sa shampoo sis di na kelangan ibabad, yung sa condi lang mga 5-10 minutes every day.

Regarding Shine Moist Henna Wax, I'm not sure sis kung pede mo sya ihalo sa Lolane hair dye mo pero I think pede naman siguro since henna lang naman siya and treatment narin at the same time. Semi permanent lang tong Shine Moist so it will only last less than a month depende rin kung gano ka kadalas mag-basa ng hair. Ang maganda lang dito kasi may kasama na syang cellophane treatment. Advisable siya gamitin every 2 weeks para ma-maintain yung color. Medyo kelangan ng tiyaga pero at least hindi damaging sa hair. Pag permanent hair color kasi may oxidizing lotion yun so nakaka-dry ng buhok.

I'll try to take a pic later sis ha pag tanghali na. Medyo madilim pa kasi, di tuloy makacapture ng phone cam ko yung totoong kulay. Hehe

Agree sis nice yung hair mo.. Burgundy pala ang term. Struggled to explain my hair yesterday sa dresser..sabi ko na Reddish na may brown/chocolate brown and no copper/brassy tones, and very muted to the point na sa light lang makita..yung problema lang is..I cant take a picture of it! Di siya talaga macapture.

Pero people have looked at me strangely and said,"Something's different, but I'm not sure." I think nakakaitim yung color na to..toink haha

Yung first offer ng hairstylists to me is always BLONDE.. omg =_= After that would probably be ash.. hayy but kumusta yung mini-sized Cara Delevigne eyebrows ko? LOL

Hi sis juni! You're welcome. Ang nasubukan ko na henna ay yung brand na Eagle's. Black and brown pa lang. In my experience, hindi naman nag-dry ang buhok ko dito at hindi rin naman na-damage.

Na-try ko na din ang Shinemoist Henna Wax. Mas gusto ko ito kesa sa powder. Lambot at bango pa ng hair after. Ingat nga lang kasi nag-mamantsa siya at mabilis din mag-fade.
