Kakastart ko palang ng Game of Thrones, maganda ba talaga? naiinis lang ako kasi mamamatay naman kaagad si Sean Bean. hehe

Saw the premiere episode of The Strain.  Umpisa pa lang ma-action na!  I will definitely continue to watch this!

GOT/Orange is the new Black

^^ para kasi akong nasad na ambilis lang pinatay si Sean Bean. bwahahaha! pero since tapos ko na ang Chicago Fire, subukan ko to. episode 1 palang napanood ko kagabe, nagustuhan ko naman. hindi ba nakakaantok or boring ang mga susunod na episodes?

^ Mahirap lang sundan sa dami ng characters. I had a codigo for who's who, para lang hindi ako mawala sa kwento. It also helped that I re-watched GoT with subtitles afterwards, mas na-appreciate ko yung kwento.

Recently watched the premiere of the following:

RUSH - airing on USA Network. Kakaibang doctor siya. Sobrang gwapo. This show is like Royal Pains, but medyo serious/dark. I like the music they use, 80's and 90's ang type ni Rush.

SATISFACTION - also airing on USA Network. Married couples, drifting apart, the usual. Ang twist, the wife is hiring an escort so she can have sex. The super busy husband found out, and stole the escort's identity (so he's now escorting rin). Kinda reminds me of that HBO show HUNG, about a male prostitute. Satisfaction is medyo sad lang ang story.

MARRIED - airing on FX. Couple drifting apart rin. But a comedy. Funny, funny stuff. Relatable.

YOU'RE THE WORST - airing on FX. Sexy Comedy about sex rin. (What's with these shows lately, sabay sabay pa naman sila nag-premiere lahat!) Very hip. Lead guy is British. Mood and theme of the show is not like your usual stuff.

Of these four, mas parang I won't get to stick with Rush, the rest, I'm still curious what'll happen. But let's see...

Welcome to Sweden - relatable siya sa akin kasi the things being shown here are the same things na kinukwento sa akin ng friend ko who is married to a Swede (e.g. bathing naked).  LOL!  Lahat nga daw ng male friends ng husband niya eh nakita na niya ang kanilang ding-dong.  No inhibitions whatsoever.

sis Mindy, bihirang bihira ako nanonood ng series or movies na walang subtitle. dependent ako sa subtitle kasi hindi ko maintindihan minsan sa bilis ng salita at sa accent. so, pansin ko minsan nagbabasa nalang ako at may namimiss akong mapanood. True, ang dameng characters. pero bonding kame ni hubby dito, he's also watching this.

^ Good to know. I still can't get over the fact na after season 1 wala na ang head ng Stark family. wahhhh! Ang ganda ni Emilia Clarke. hindi ko alam na brunette sya.

Started Orange is the New Black Season 2 kahapon. Ganda.

The Tyrant - interesting ang story niya.  Grabe si Jamal!!!!  I wonder kung anong gagawin sa anak ni Bassam pag malaman na gay siya at meron siyang Muslim gay friend/lover din.  Haram (bawal) sa kanila iyon di ba?  As in parang capital sin?

Witches of East End -- season 2 started na.  OK na si Mrs. Channing Tatum dito ha?  Hindi na siya pacute unlike noong season 1.

The Leftovers - medyo mabagal ang pacing pero nakakaintrigga talaga yung individual stories ng mga characters dito.

Extant - medyo nabore ako sa episode two nito.

Watched the first episode of Rush.   I think isa ito sa mga bagong series na susubaybayan ko.

I saw trailer is state of affair and this series to be aired November is promising. Can't wait its Catherine Heighl BTW.😀😀

Over the weekend, watched:

The Honourable Woman 1 x 5. It's really one of my favorites this season (summer viewing). Nauuso yung mga Middle Eastern themed shows no? Mabagal rin pacing ng show na ito, tapos kelagan ng tutok rin, pero ang ganda kasi ng kwento, may depth talaga.

Rectify's latest episode 2 x 6 (?). Malapit na matapos ulit. I really like the development of Daniel, masyadong totoo rin yung mga nangyayari sa kanya. So very human tong kwento nito.

Welcome to Sweden 1 x 3. Natutuwa ako sa subtle humor niya.

Married 1 x 2. Also fun, na medyo in your face ang view about marriage. Totoo naman. 

The Lottery 1 x 1.  I like the idea...not sure if kaya i-sustain ng mga lead stars, bilang wala silang dating.

About to check out the premiere of Manhattan...gusto ko yung cast, pero nagsasawa na ako sa 60's setting. Let's see if it's as good as critics say it is.

^ Nasa Lifetime yung Lottery, same network as Drop Dead Diva. May kulang yung show. Definitely not Leftovers level hehe. Pero bakit maraming nega feedback ang Leftovers, kaya no? It's actually not doing well sa audience dyan sa US.

Anyway, maganda yung Manhattan, sobrang stylized. Interesting rin yung kwento. Pero hindi rin mataas rating nung pilot nila this week. Baka kasi summer ang mood ng mga tao sa USA ngayon? Ayaw ng mga serious na shows? Yung Extant, bumaba rin kasi ratings, ililipat na nga ng time, para makakuha ng audience.

The Last Ship -- I just started watching it. So far it looks promising.

^^ possible. but also maybe because like what one critic said, the leftovers is a show na you watch for 3 episodes and if you don't like it, just bail. wala talaga siyang masyadong plot no? maganda lang talaga siya. it's beautiful to watch. i think people want answers to what exactly happened but i don't think they're going to answer that at all. not even a hint. so baka kaya din tinamad yung iba.
