but i'm looking forward to fall. two comedies that i think i'll like: the thing about sweden c/o amy poehler tapos i think will ferrell is in some of the episodes. and the comedy about an all-female group of lawyers. saw the teasers last night.

Watched the premiere episode of Flash.  I liked how they wove the story of Barry in Arrow in this series.  Maganda ang effects, hindi ko lang nagustuhan ang pagka-red ng suit ni Flash.  Sana ginawa na lang nilang fire engine red (bright red) and not dark red.

^ Medyo subdued nga yung kulay ng costume niya. Parang yung ginawa nila sa costume ni Superman (latest movie) nawala rin yung tingkad ng kulay.

Recently watched:
Last Tango in Halifax UK drama/comedy about childhood sweethearts who reunite after 50 years. The actors are great for their parts, ganda ng chemistry.
Friday Night Dinner UK comedy now on it's 3rd season, as usual riot na naman.
Welcome to Sweden - I've been reading how funny this show is, but haven't gotten around to checking it out till last Friday, thanks to mooncake and leaves for mentioning this. Antayin ko yung US airing nung succeeding episodes kasi yung online copies ng Season 1 walang English subtitles, 20% ng language is Swede, coz it's originally aired in Sweden.
Chasing Life the episode this week, finally the lead character is addressing her cancer. Mukhang I'll stick to this show for the rest of the season.

i just finished the leftovers. hindi ko nakilala si justin theroux! iniba lang ang hair niya hindi ko na kilala lol. i liked it. but it's grim. it makes you ask a lot of questions.

Watched the season premiere of Murder in the First.  Hindi maganda ang impression ko dito but will see how the story progresses.

@sima - gave up on Murder in the First after episode 2. Walang dating yung 2 leads sa akin.

@simplykristine08 - hindi ko pa nasisilip ni minsan ang Power, malamang hindi na. LOL. May upcoming show pala na PowerS, sa December. Parang Heroes naman yun. Kakalito titles. I stopped watching Gang Related after episode 3 naman. If you like gang centric series, try mo The Shield (5 seasons), ka-level ng Breaking Bad sa intensity.

@mooncake and leaves - yup, 10 episodes yung Sweden, tamang pang Summer viewing lang talaga. I'll checkout Leftovers later...no expectations, pero love ko si Theroux noon pa!

^ thanks sa recommendation, sis! Nakita ko nga na parang ganyan ang tema ng The SHield at Aons of Anarchy. Sige, kuha ako ng copy ng The SHield. matagal ko ng nakikita to eh. maganda talaga? kasi kalevel ng BB eh.  ang Power, grabe ang sex scenes! hubad kung hubad!!

^ Not familiar with Sons of Anarchy kasi kalahati lang ng Season 1 napanood ko (Season 7 na yata ngayon) . But I did read that it's good, lalo na the earlier seasons. Gang Related actually reminded me of The Shield in some ways.

Last night, watched:

- the premiere of The Leftovers. Medyo mahaba siya. Mabagal sa simula. Pero ang ganda ng kwento lalo na yung reveal sa dulo. Nagalingan ako sa show na ito, kahit ang daming TV critics na hindi natuwa. Bakit kaya? Baka panget next episodes? hehe. But I really loved the pilot kahit mabagal ang kwento. Na-establish naman maayos yung main characters. Friend said parang reverse The Returned siya. Kung doon bumalik yung mga tao, dito sa Leftovers nawala. Ganun rin halos ang feel ng show.

- the pilot of Constantine. Isa pa to, na-enjoy ko rin. May exorcist factor (just like in the movies and comic books) pero hindi naman sya scary. I like the characterization of Constantine here, which is really who he is. Sa movies kasi iniba nila yung kay Keanu.

- The Last Ship. Kung naghahanap ka ng ma-action na show na maraming pasabog, cliche ang mga heroes, eto na yun.  In that aspect, nakakatuwa siya. Pero yung kwento, typical.

Sana mag-leak na rin yung pilot ng Gotham.

^ feeling ko inis lang yung ibang critics kay damon whats-his-face. matindi pa rin ang galit sa lost. may leftover anger pa. parang ako. anything that bays/thomas will do, mabubuwisit ako loljk.

seriously, i really enjoyed the leftovers too. medyo slow nga. hindi ko talaga nakilala si justin theroux. hanggang ngayon 'di pa rin ako 100% sure na siya nga yun kahit alam kong siya hindi pa rin ako convinced. i loved the twist at the end too. it makes you wonder all the more what made L join the GR. btw, yung head ng GR, si patti, siya yung sister lover sa true detective di ba? laging patapon ang buhay ang role lol.

Wow, may Under The Dome pa pala. I've completely forgotten all about it. Not really one of my favorites, but I still like it better than Salem. At least dumadami na uli ang options. I've already given up on Beauty and the Beast.

I'm just glad Devious Maids is still on right now. LOL

Bro jonduh himym progressed badly. Tinapos ko na lang yan for the sake of, pero im no longer interested with any character and sa development ng story. Hehe

Just finished season 1 of Revenge.  Sometimes I feel pity for Madeleine Stowe's character, but most of the time I just find her really evil.

The Blacklist is really nice, I like James Spader's acting.  I didn't watch the last few episodes, ayoko kasi mainip for season 2 kaya I switched to watching episodes of House

It sucks that Suburgatory and Raising Hope were cancelled, I like those shows, they were funny and merong sense of family/community.  It bugs me that good shows get cancelled while some trashy shows stay on the air.

Watched The Honourable Woman over the weekend. It's on BBC, so it's a Brit production, but will also air on SundanceTV (USA Cable) later this month. Miniseries, 8 episodes. It stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and her performance is award-winning. She's so underrated. I liked how this show is told visually, magaling yung mata nung director, so I checked out his other series, The Shadow Line afterwards too. Maganda rin. 6 Episodes, full series.

Finished Undateable over the weekend also. Nakakatuwa tong series na to. Just not sure of its chances for renewal, sana naman magkaka-Season 2.
