What TV shows are you currently watching (Thread 3)

^ ang saya ng last week tonight. nakakabitin lang minsan kasi ang ikli din niya. they'll be on a break for two weeks. hopefully it gets picked up for another season. i don't usually watch shows like this and this is by far, my favorite.

i want to see that (halt and catch fire) too!!!! hopefully it's good.

sa silicon valley, i feel that their first 3 episodes were the strongest but last sunday's episode was good too. nakakatawa si jared. laging kawawa yun. even sa veep and the office parang laging api haha. but i love silicon valley's entire cast. it really is too bad that the guy playing peter passed last year.

^^ I liked The Crazy Ones, but I think that it's best episode was the first (pilot). Robin Williams would've clicked with the target demo of the network where the show was airing (CBS), kasi kilala siya ng karamihan ng generation na nanonood ng CBS (oldies). The problem with the show was that it was uneven. May kulang at may sobra. It wasn't defined too --- workplace comedy? comedy about friendship? or father-daughter comedy? or drama? --- so hirap yung show to retain a following. If it had a second season, then sana naayos nila yung direction ng show.

Watched Halt and Catch Fire's pilot. Was pleased with it! Aabangan ko yung next episodes. Was pleased that ang sama ng ugali ng character ni Lee Pace. Hahha! Completely opposite to the character he played on his last TV show (Pushing Daisies). Galing talaga umarte.

Napanood ko na rin sa wakas ang finale ng The Blacklist at Tomorrow People. Sayang cancelled ang TP. Okay din ang finale ng The Blacklist. Yun nga lang, nakakalito. Ano ngyari kay Tom? si Red ba tatay ni Liz? Tsk tsk! At, excited ako kay Berlin. Namiss ko tuloy ang Prison Break!

Hindi ko pa napapanoo ang season finale ng The Blacklist pero napanood ko na ang season finale ng Tomorrow People.  Nakakahinayang lang at cancelled na ang show na ito.

I love watching Fargo.  Natutuwa ako sa Lorne Malvo na character.  Patay na kaya si Molly?  If that's the case, medyo makakahinga ng maluwag si Lester.

Yung Uncle sa the Tomorrow People will be starring in the USA remake of The Returned (Les Revenants), which is essentially similar to Resurrection. Speaking of Resurrection, malakas pala tong show na ito, I didn't realize it had viewers LOL! No wonder it got renewed. Couldn't get into it kasi mas nagandahan ako sa The Returned, so after episode 4 I quit watching. Now, I'm trying to watch the remaining episodes, hoping I could get on board. Pero, hindi talaga ako nagkaka-interest.

Anyway, here's the list of Top 80 shows last season.  Person of Interest, although hardly talked about online and parang walang fanbase, is in a really, really good spot! The Blacklist is the most successful new show this season, based on this list. But I really cannot appreciate it rin.

^ Gusto ko ang Resurrection, pero di ko din alam na maraming viewers. Nagulat nga ako na renewed sya for seaoson 2 pero ang dameng cancelled shows din like Crisis, Believe, Tomorrow People

Ang dame ko pang di napapanood. Di ko na kasi alan san ako magstart. sa lahat ng series na pinapanood ko, mga last 3-5 episodes ang di ko pa napapanood. hayy.

Tomorrow People, TBBT, The Blacklist palang ang natatapos ko ang season finale.

Sinusubaybayan ko ngayon yung Penny Dreadful.  Lahat na yata ng mga gory characters nandito.  Smorgasboard!  I agree with Mindy that it IS dark.  But  I love how they merged these characters into one storyline

I'm watching Undateable right now. Some elements I don't like but I find it interesting enough.

^ I enjoyed Undateable. Natutuwa ako dun sa kumakanta. Mukhang every episode yata bibirit. Heheh. Ganda boses! I don't like the guy with the long hair though, although wala akong choice, siya bida. 

I just finished watching the pilot of Crossbones. If Fargo has Billy Bob Thorton for the cool factor, si John Malkovich naman dito. Medyo mas gusto ko naman tong show na to kesa sa Black Sails a couple of months back. Pero hindi talaga ma-appeal sa akin ang pirate-themed na premise in general (kaya hindi ako masyadong aliw sa Pirates of Caribbean). So, we'll see how long I can stick around watching this.

Anyway, also checked Happy Valley kasi may nabasa ako na top-rater siya sa UK ngayon, one of the better dramas that has started there recently. It looks good. Ma-appeal talaga sa akin ang small-town setting and simpleng kwento and production. It's parang Broadchurch.

Hay salamat nakatapos ako ng 3 tv shows this weekend. Grimm, Person of Interest and The Originals!

Ako naman parang mas gusto ko ang Black Sails kesa Crossbones.  Meron silang commonality... yung mga bida, they both committed something to memory and destroyed something vital.

^Agree with the common elements. Mas bolder lang ang Black Sails with the exposition ng character and kwento. It's too early to tell with Crossbones (2nd episode pa lang this week) but knowing that it's on network TV, it will be so, so sanitized.

Finished the first season of Line of Duty (UK) this week. Ang galing ng build up, simple lang naman ang kwento (police corruption), pero nakakakabog ng heart. Same with Happy Valley (which I have yet to finish), simple but shocking.

About to start Orange Is the New Black season 2 now!

Finished the second season of Orange is the New Black over the weekend. Solid season! Posted comment in the OITNB thread.

Peeked into the pilot of Murder In The First last night, a new police drama series starring Taye Diggs and created by Steven Bochco (who was huge in the 80's, he created so many good shows). For some reason, hindi talaga effective tong si Taye Diggs sa akin as a lead actor.  Will check out one or two more episodes before I decide if I will keep the show on my list.

Nagdownload na rin ako ng Murder in the First pero hindi ko pa pinapanood.

Katatapos ko lang panoorin kagabi yung pilot episode ng second season ng Orange is the New Black.  Daming bagong inmates at bagong location.  Buti na lang at hindi pala niya napatay si Pennsatucky iyon.

Nababagot na akong panoorin ang The 100.  It is slowly but surely losing its appeal to me.  Nakokornihan na ako.

The latest episode of Penny Dreadful sheds light on Vanessa's dark past.  Magkababata pala sila ni Mina.  Noong una kasi di ko ma-relate kung ano ang connection nilang dalawa.
