Getting pregnant while taking pills?

Ganu ba sis aquacharly, alarming naman.. hindi pala 100 percent safe no.. kumusta naman ang baby.. Isa yan sa laging tinatanong ni hubby sakin since im taking pills for medication sa PCOS and para manormal ang menstruation ko and pag nag normal na monthly ang tendency ninipis ang lining ko.. If wala daw ba masamang effect sa baby if taking pills then nabuntis na at hindi nalaman agad..

My baby's fine -- so very pretty, normal & very smart. Thank God! It wasn't the pills I was worried about, but the Prednisone prescribed  for my enormous pimples.   

My advice to you since pills are not foolproof :  best you don't smoke, take no antibiotics/steroids    ( so try not to get sick),  don't over drink, and stay away from people with colds/sore eyes/chicken pox etc

Thanks mga sissies hindi pako nkakapagcheckup eh. Hopefully maging okay si baby sobrang blessing nlang talaga to kasi kakaMC ko lang lat december tapos meron agad and sobrang stress ako ng mga last 3 months kumapit talaga sya. hehe medyo natatanggap na din ni bf siguro nashock lang din sya ng una. pagpray ko nalang talaga safe pregnancy.

Sis kakacheck ko lang kanina i'm 18 weeks pregnant na daw probably baby boy daw. it's really a blessing for me kasi safe siya at ang laki na

kaya naman pala nakakaramdam ka na ng pitik kasi 18 weeks na pala eh.. hindi 12 weeks.. hindi kaya mali counting mo kaya pumalpak ang pills? anyway, it doesn't matter now. take care of yourself.

Thanks sis nixiquita and sis lovemeagain so happy kasi safe at maggalaw na si baby kahit na nakapills ako naging normal siya gonna wait for him 5 months hehe.

Hindi naman sis parang right after ko makunan doon agad ako nakabuo kasi si bf nung time na yun he cum inside kaya biglang inom ako ng pills noon hindi din pala tumalab malakas yung conception and development ni baby siguro sinave sya ng angel namin.

Ano pills nyo mga sis? I'm taking my pills properly (same time each day, not smoking/drinking, etc.), yet natakot ako na nabuntis kayo while taking them. Kaya nga nag-pills para hindi ma-preggy. They're only effective if taken in the right manner di ba?

Ginagamit ko nun micropil then I switched to sophia pero alam ko mapreggy ako right after kong makunan kasi nagcum si bf inside mo baka possibility nakabuo agad ako noon nagpills ako baka kasi maprevent yung pagbuo eh hindi hehe. 20 weeks nakong preggy now.

^ayun naman pala..you had an inkling na baka buntis ka before you started taking pills and yet tinuloy-tuloy mo pa din ang inom for a few months kahit na andyan na signs na buntis ka (yes,there are obvious signs,in denial ka lang).that is very irresponsible.akala ko pa man din e sablay talaga si pill.i hope you have told your ob it para maassess nya condition ng bata.anyway,hope the baby would be ok.

pills ba okay lang inumin after or before talaga siya? hindi ko pa kasi natry since TTC kami for 2 years bago kami nakabuo ni hubby so never pa ako nakapagtake nito.

^^^ & ^^ Akala ko rin sumablay ang pill. Mga sis let's just pray for the baby's health. Hopefully wala negative effect sa kanya yung pills.

^ What's TTC? Ask your OB regarding pills sis. Ieexplain nya mabuti how to take it and if you can take it. Kasi hindi para sa lahat yung pills tsaka meron 21- and 28-day pack of pills.

Yung sa case ko kasi noon nagplanB method ako yung iinom ka ng 4 pill every 12 hours kaso hindi talaga effective sakin. So far the baby is okay naman next check up ko na this week.

^ thanks sis yun pala yung TTC hehe. Ayun, check with your OB if you're allowed to take pills. Kasi ang alam ko bawal yun sa migraine-sufferers, smokers, etc. Madami conditions sis. Katakot pag basta basta mag-take nito.

^ah okay.. hehe actually wala naman sa isip ko magtake kasi naghahabol nga kami makadalawa man lang, nacurious lang ako

Hopefully yes malikot na nga si baby kaso wala pa akong check up or any lab exam eh. Kating kati nako pacheck kasi pinapalipat ako OB ng mom ko eh wala naman silang kakikalala pa along las pinas kaya wait muna.

This is the other way around.. after I stopped pills..
 Hi Good afternoon! Tatanong ko lang din yung sa case ko. Actually, I'm married na and I have a 1 kid. I started taking pills just this January of this year then nagstop ako nung March kase medyo tinatamad ako magtake bale tinapos ko lang yung 1 pack then d nko nagcontinue ng April. I had my period last April 18-20 and super lakas talaga as in puno agad2 yung pads ko. Then I had contact with my husband during the last week of april and 1st week of may. We both know na fertile ako during those times peru withdrawal naman. Then this May i'm expecting my period peru hindi pdin dumadating. I'm 9 days delayed medyo masakit yung boobs ko na parang magkakaroon nko. I read from some books na may mga ganung effect daw talaga pag nagiistop ka ng pills. I used cybelle anyway. Can anyone tell me? Is it possible that im now pregnant again? This saturday pa kase magppcheck up. Filing ko din llagnatin ako and masakit yung puson ko....which di ako ganito sa 1st pregnancy ko? I'll wait for you reply...

^i dunno sis pero better magPT kana after 2 weeks just to be sure kasi ako akala ko dati sa pills lang yug sakit ng puson ko at tenderness ng boobs ko tapos I found out na 4 months preggy na ako hndi ko kasi pinapansin mga symptoms basta pt ka nalang sis to be sure.

hi sis dropdead.. congrats sa blessing!! tanong ko lang ilang days o umabot ba ng months pag take mo ng pills before mo naisipang i stop siya?? walang missed pills ba yun at nite take mo siya at exact time?? sana ok at healthy baby mo..

@gharz412, ang tagal na pala nitong post mo sis. Any update? Ang alam ko if you stop taking pills and did not use any other contraceptive method, mas malaki talaga yung chance na maging preggy.

@dropdeaad, sis ilan months ka na ngayon? Sayang late ko na nabasa yung post mo kasi I gave birth sa Las Pinas. Refer ko sana sayo yung OB ko kaso by now meron ka na siguro nakitang OB na kapalit.
