would it be better to invest and leave it for the long term (say 10+ years) or would the returns be better if for example i invest and set a target % gain (say 15%) and once the target is reached i sell the funds and then re-invest?

^for me I would rather leave it, pag ni-re invest ko pa sya sa bagong investment, it will have charges again. ang alam ko, for some plans kasi for quite a number of years lang ang management fee or kung anumang fee yun.

I just redeemed from FAMI. So sad kasi ayoko sana because this is my first MF kaya lang I need it for the business kasi. Nag full redemption ako. Pero sabi nung kausap ko di pa naman siya automatically magkoclose kahit full redemption. So pwede uli ako maginvest by next month if I'll have the extra budget. Mabilis and hassle free lang. 5 banking days nasa account ko na agad.

Philequity: Yung March 2015 placements ko, may sales charge pa rin. Naglagay din ako last payday (April 15) and no sales load was charged. I called the number to verify this and hindi pa daw for publicly announced yung zero na sales load. Sa website nila, max of 3.5% sales load nakalagay. Nawala na yung graduated table ng sales load fees. I guess they have their own criteria na hindi pa posted or publicly announced.

I do wonder how they will earn if wala nang sales load.

Bakit kaya di pa inaannounce yung zero sales load. Di kaya for a certain amount lang. Pag malaki na investment saka zero na ang sales load?

^same with sis @msals2007, nag withraw na rin ako ng FAMI shares. Really quick and hassle free. I just mailed them the redemption form and it was credited to my BDO savings account in less than a week if I remember correctly. Kakatuwa lang kasi they can dep the money to your bank account kahit hindi Metrobank.

They've earned their management fee naman with their performance. 

Dati, Php 10M yung 0% na sales load nila. Wala ako nun. Hahaha. So I guess binaba nila yung total investment amount or they also factored in yung length of time mo na as investor.
