On Emcees or Wedding Hosts (part 3)

Got them for my wedding, both emcee and OTD...wala kong makitang review sa kanila but nung kinausap ko sila last Sunday during bridal fair may "this is it" feeling na. They seem nice and kalog, nakikita ko sila kaharutan mga katabing booth. Sila lang din nakita kong 6 na coord sa OTD, tapos 2 of them will be on my prenup shoot to help me, wala ng charge to.  I asked Alyne saan sya comfortable sa pag e-emcee, English daw pero ok din sya mag-tagalog.

thanks sis.. host lang kasi need ko.. nakausap ko na din sila pareho but no sample videos pa eh.. when wedding mo if I may ask?

^ ako tinanggap ko na kailangan ko na lang ipaubaya hehe mahirap nga maghanap ng vids nila...kahit pa maraming review na magaling or ok mag-host syempre iba-iba pa rin tayo ng taste. Mas ok na makausap natin sila personally. Meron ako na-meet before ok sya sa phone, ganda ng boses, diction and all pero nung na-meet ko medyo na-off ako.

Ewan ko kung may ganito kayong feeling, pero sa mga suppliers nararamdaman ko kung gusto din nila tayo. Minsan may nagsasabi sa amin na, gusto ko kayong client tapos mararamdaman mo daming extra work na ginagawa kahit hinde kasama sa contract. Ang sarap pag lahat ng suppliers mo ganun dating syo

OMG I just met Missy Ferrer-Litao, and she's great! so we got her na din!

Haha. wala share ko lang.

Tip lang, go with someone you're comfortable with. Kasi sabi nga nya, when someone from the guests ask her if they (the couple and Missy) are friends, it's like complementing her work. Kasi it reflects that they have a relationship and rapport na, and hindi yung parang you just hired the host para lang magawa yung program.

true! si Alyne magsend ng sample vid. Si Madocs, may event daw sya ng Nov 15 (bukas na pala) send daw sya video after. sana makuha ko agad. para maka decide and book na!
though experience wise, mas madami/matagal na hosting si Alyne. si Madocs nagstart pa lang. Let's see pareho naman silang ok nung na-meet namin.

Our emcee is Marj Dizon of A Magical Events. Kasama siya sa accredited emcees ng caterer namin so siya na agad nirequest ko, fortunately di pa siya booked non as emcee or coord. Then yung coord team na rin niya ang kinuha namin, since family members niya kasama niya sa A Magical Events during the wedding day. Sister niya si Missy Ferrer-Litao and Mallory din.
