pwede na sis, but hinde siya pinaka OK na hawker center IMO in terms of food quality and choices.
ganda lang kasi location kaya sikat Makansutra lalo na sa mga Pinoy.

other famous hawker centers are in Newton, Old Airport Road, Lau Pa Sat, Maxwell Fod Centre sa Chinatown, Tiong Bahru market/foodcentre, pati dun pala Smith St sa Chinatown

naalala ko kasi sa No Signboard mga 3,500 per person nagastos namin. mga 3-4 dishes yan. lima kami.

Seafood restaurants in Singapore:

- No Signboard Seafood (Vivocity), very near to Sentosa
- Singapore Seafood Republic (just outside Universal Studios Singapore)
- Jumbo Seafood (Clarke Quay), you can take Singapore River Cruise after dinner

All are very popular, so be sure to call to make reservations!

Makansutra's food is blah. Never recommended this place to eat TBH... Their food is a major downgrade since they reopened after renovating couple of years ago...

Cheap seafood is more easily found in Malaysia Johor Bahru at Danga Bay. Since most tourists will go to Legoland, why not drop by Danga Bay for seafood dinner in the evening, on the way back to Singapore, rather than spend a bomb on Singapore seafood?

I tried yun chili crab sa Chinatown. Sarap din although I have nothing to compare it with. Mejo mahal lang.

^Seafood here is exy specially crabs because they're mostly imported from Sri Lanka or Malaysia... I miss the crabs in Philippines. Meat is sweet even without any sauce...

Danga Bay Seafood near to Legoland is better and cheaper than any seafood in Singapore. Fresh catch from the harbour!

i also don't recommend Makansutra but i recommend this for the view coz parte sya ng day trip.
for day trip which i highly recommend for tourist is that to alight raffles place mrt....walk walk during weekdays and you will see the business district of sg (parang makati) then walking distance na dito ang famous Fullerton Hotel then cross the street you will see the Merlion (water spitting) to take some pictures. then walk to your right side and walk straight mga 30 minutes yata nasa MBS ka na. Shop abit, see the casinos and the high end shops and the hotel then go out towards the Helix Bridge (ok for photo ops) then walking distance na to sa Makansutra and you can have dinner there. Please note that this place is an open concept so not applicable when its raining but in a good weather this is nice. Normally on weekends that bay area got lots of free cultural concerts etc na you can hang out then walk about 10 to 15 minutes then nasa Esplanade (durian shape building) ka na. So in one whole day you can cover all of this =)

Sa Raffles Place mrt din yung sikat na Lau Pau Sat food court na renovated and opened just this Monday. You can also try that too. What I always order is the grilled items like satay but my most fave is the prawn grilled. Sarap ng marinate and sa outdoor sya ng Lau Pau Sat available ng 7pm onwards yata. So in daytime bukas yung street for cars then at night time they will close it.

Ako rin I always eat chili crab, black pepper crab and my fave buttered crab sa baba ng bahay namin or malapit na hawker. They are cheaper and taste nicer compared to Jumbo etc. Me I always eat crabs at Eminent Frog Porridge sa Lorong 19 Geylang. There specialty is frog porridge, haven't tried it though but if you are adventurous then do try it =)
Recently we had 4 rice, 2 homemade ice lemon tea, 1 thai coconut, cereal crab (orange yung cereal and its sweet fave ng yaya ko, [textspeak!] crab breaded sya ng cereal so parang cereal prawn din) and buttered crab and it only cost us SGD75. Pay only cash coz outdoor food court din sya and I believe open lang sa gabe.

hi sis dami ng itinerary na nakalagay dito sa thread. back read ka na lang.
normally for kids you can go sa Sg zoo, night safari etc where all the animals are then sentosa then USS. Yes USS you need 1 full day to tour this.
street foods - you can eat sa mga food court (hawker centre).
MBS - they have alot of fine dining restos to choose from. when you get there you would know what you want and you can also check the website. they are all updated.

tama kayo mga sis, hindi recommended ang Makansutra. ang dumi! lalo na yung trays nila, ang lalagkit sa dumi. nakakawalang gana kumain.
