So far, wala naman ako na-experience na masungit na IO sa Changi Airport. Pero mali nga ang tanong nya about sa stamp mo, sila dapat nakaka-alam nun, hehe!

Sa nakwento naman ng isang friend ko, yung kuya nya may anak na malikot masyado. Nakalampas na daw sa immigration yung bata tapos nagpupumilit bumalik, siguro pupunta sa mommy o daddy, ang pinagalitan daw ng IO ay yung magulang nung bata, hindi daw pwede yun pabalik balik.

Regarding sa pag-stay overnight in Changi Airport, please note sis kung san nyo na kukunin ang baggage nyo.

^ wala kaming checked in baggage eh. hand carry lang kami. pwede naman yung malaking backpack (mga north face na malalaki) hindi naman nila iccheck yun kahit hand carry diba?

and pwede ba mag stay dun sa free theater sa changi?


baka pwde po makahingi ng detailed steps on how to get to Legoland + Hello Kitty from SG. yung pinost ko lang dito ang alam ko at parang di ako confident hehe

^^From Kranji MRT take bus 170 to Woodlands checkpoint.  Once done with SG clearance, hop onto the same bus to get to the Malaysia border.  After clearance from the malaysian immigration in Johor Bahru checkpoint, go to the JB bus sentral to catch the bus to legoland.  Or better way is to get a taxi to legoland (RM35 fixed rate).

- City Tour nalang ata kasi pag nag lego land kami dito, hindi kami makakapag check-in sa hotel namin ng 2PM kasi nasa malaysia kami. so imove ko nalang ng saturday

Day 3 (Saturday)
- Legoland + Hello Kitty - Traffic ba pag ganito?

Day 4 (Sunday)
- River Safari
- Night Safari

Day 5 (Monday)
- Sentosa/USS

Day 6 (Tuesday)
- Chinatown pasalubong
- Changi Mall
- Airport
- Departure @ 5PM

My Singaporean friends told me boring daw ang River Safari.  Not worth the SGD25.  Is it true even if you'll be able to see the two pandas?

I have been to Singapore zoo and i enjoyed it well.  Although my friends keep telling me the Jurong Bird park is more enjoyable than the zoo.

Night safari daw is boring as the animals are just sleeping.

I agree with the sis who said that free wi-fi in Singapore is hard to come by. In the last hotel that we chose to stay in.. you have to be at the lobby to be able to access wi-fi, 24 hours free powered by Docomo (I think!) So for those who are internet dependent...get an Sg prepaid sim for data or subscribe to data offers from your mobile service provider.

^ok naman yong wifi sa 5footwayinn. kahit nasa room kami malakas connection, nakakatuwa kasi guesthouse lang yon. kaya hindi na ako bumili ng local sim

^Lahat ng guesthouses / hostels dito have great wifi simply because the internet providers here are very dependable. 

Kaso if the person travelling prefers to have internet access outside the hotel in case they get lost or to know nearby great place to eat or hang out, talagang dapat mag prepaid mobile data.

^ exactly. besides password protected lahat ng nasagap kong wifi when i was roaming around the city. better pa rin if you have your own data lalo na if traveling alone like me

sa airport na ako bumili ng sim, sa M1 booth. pinoy yung mga nagma-man ng stall. $18 for the microsim, 1GB data cap for 30 days. for the normal sized sim, same price, unlimited data usage for 1 week ata. the other sim card stalls medyo expensive na for my use ($40++)

^ Not bad at all. For the last trip we had, I chose to forego the sim and just did Unlimited Surfing via Globe Roaming service for SgD27/3 days. If 1 day naman it's at SgD10.

sayang just read bout sa IMM nung nakabalik nako, mukhang mas maganda compared sa changi mall.

we stayed at rw sentosa hotel, nice yung hotel 5 minutes lang from universal and sa other attractions, kaso there was no free wifi kahit sa lobby may bayad wifi haha.

then we transferred sa village hotel albertcourt, clean rooms and mabait yung mga pinoy na staff. tawid ka kabilang road little india mrt station, 5 minute walk naman yung bugis junction. tapos 2 minute walk yung sim lim square kaso did not go there cause i read not so good stories here.

ate in makansutra ba yun in gluttons bay, di ganun kasarap chili crab... grrrr. ok lang. should have gone to no signboard nalang, konti lang naman pala difference haha.

the IO na kumausap samin is mabait, i go to sg twice a year lahat sila mabait. the last one gave my kid a bag of candy haha.

mura yung h&m when we went there, spent 4 hours there haha. butu nalang my hubby was also busy sa mens section. mura din pala pandora and makeup sa changi airport. heaven hahaha.

^ Which H&M did you go to? Sobrang tagal din namin ng girlfriends ko sa H&M. Give or take 3 hours and I sooooo loved the kids section. Bought a little too much for my niece!

^the one in orchard sis. i went crazy rin sa kids section, bought polo shirts for 10sgd,polo na long sleeves for 17sgd, shorts for 14sgd. saya haha. for me i bought mga blouse from 10sgd to 30sgd yung range and really nice leggings for 20sgd.sana ganito rin prices when  h&m opens in manila

I went to H&M in Ion Orchard and Jem, too. and same experience, naloka ako sa dami ng cute stuff for kids. Though yung mga pang-adults, shades lang nabili ko.ang daming pinoy!!! mas type ko yung mga sale sa Cotton On.

I heard mas mura yung magiging price ng H&M dito sa Manila. parang they'll adjust it sa economy ng pinas. sana nga!

^sana nga mas mura dito. i like the fit ng clothes sa anak ko. i like yung mga blouse nila although yung iba parang not for me, pang fashionista na talaga. mas wearable for me yung clothes ng cotton on, kaso sayang medyo mahal when we went there parang puro 2 for 30 ang promo.

I had my first taste of discrimination here in SG. 

I went to vivocity wearing my old "Philippines" shirt and uniqlo shorts.  So when it was my turn on the H&M cashier, the guy named "Jared" (don't exactly know the nationality), looked at my shirt and rolled his eyes. 

He kept the display of discomfort while I was looking at him, pero he was avoiding my gaze.  I flashed my citibank debit card, he took it and just asked "Visa?".  That's the only time he talked.  Then when he was finished placing my SGD10 purchase on the plastic bag, he just turned it over para kunin ko yung handle without him picking up the bag to give to me which is the usual for them to do.  Wala ring "Thank You" so ako na rin ang nag Thank you sa kanya while trying to look into his eyes.

What I did was I wrote to H&M customer service so that they will train him to be courteous and cheerful when serving all types of race.

^^sa IMM at sa airport naman ako madami nabili sa Cotton On and Cotton On kids. May nabili akong romper para sa daughter ko, 10sgd lang ang ganda pa ng tela. sa airport naman may 5 sgd na scarf kang pwede bilhin with any purchase. i got 2, ang ganda din kasi ng tela and worth 600 php sya sa pinas. =)
