girls, yung merlion shaped chocolates nagkalat ba yun sa Chinatown or nasa isang shop lang siya nabebenta?

saka may mga suggestions ba kayo na pasalubong na chocolates, yung tipong hindi naman makikita dito?

sis, super fave ko yung reese's crispy crunchy which can be bought at candylicious stores. Super yummy yun i always buy that whenever i visit sg.

thanks sa replies girls!! nasa list ko na yung candystore na yan.  bibilhin ko yang Reese chocolate na yan..  thanks princess lorraine. mahaba habang lakaran ito.  and yung merlion chocolates, natatakam ako.

Day1: umaga ang dating namin so taxi to our hotel in orchard. lakad lakad in orchard (may din tai fung or tim ho wan ba sa orchard area?) then punta na sa merlion for pics.

Day2: pasyal sa MBS then gardens by the bay. singapore flyer at night.

Day3: zoo. chili crabs dinner.

Day 4: siguro pasyal nalang ulit sa orchard or sentosa pag sinipag. depart ng hapon.

ok na kaya yan mga sis? na OO-C ako kasi may kasama kaming baby. hehe

^ m_lim for Din Tai Fung, there is sa Orchard, it's either sa Paragon or Wisma. If you don't get to dine at DTF while in Orchard, you can naman when you go to MBS. There's a branch in MBS eh.

^^ m_lim, marami namang options, pero so far, the ones I have tried during visits are the following lang: Makansutra Gluttons Bay --- this somewhere near the Marina Bay Area
Lau Pa Sat --- this is by far the place that we always go back to since our friends who are now SG based keep taking us here also... since I am geographically challenged, di ko maalala directions, but I looked up the actual address and it says: 18 Raffles Quay, Singapore.. One thing I am sure of, this is near the Merlion, so you can go for when you go see the Merlion... We always go to Lau Pa Sat at night though for dinner
Newton Food Centre --- this is the one near Orchard naman; only been here once and I don't remember how to get here na.. Anyway, address is: 500 Clemenceau Avenue, Singapore.

^^ Lau Pa Sat is closed for renovation. I think tentative date for reopening is June this year, but double-check na lang before you go there para di sayang effort.

NOX - Dine in the Dark

This restaurant is located very close to our office at Bugis. It has a very unique new concept popular among adventurous youths, especially couples.

Diners are served a mystery menu which they cannot see, so they can enjoy the full taste and smell of the dishes. After the dinner, they are then brought outside to see photos of what they have eaten.

It is an interesting alternative to other romantic dinner venues like cable car sky dining and singapore flyer sky dining.

isa pang ok na kainan where you can get most of what SG food has to offer is the Chinatown Food Street in Smith St.  we were there y'day. mas mahal sya than hawker food pero i think reasonable pa din naman. konti lang na-try naming food kasi tatlo lang kami. i'd recommend this for dinner. since sa kalye sya na part, mainit pag tanghali.
