Depends on your preference and lifestyle.

Prices usually go up as you go up a floor because of the view. May pagka status symbol din siya for some people.

In our case, afternoon sun side gusto ko eh wala naman view kasi buildings andun. We chose a floor na less than 10th more than 5th para pwede mag stairs pag emergency at di ma tagal wait time sa elevator. Hate ko kasi yung lahat na dinaanan mo wala ka pa rin sa floor mo haha!

sa office pa nga lang nakaka yamot na ang waiting time sa elevator pati ba naman if ever pag uwi..

Weird sis gusto mo afternoon sun hehe ako gusto ko yung morning sun ahhaha

Pero 17th floor na din yung na offer sakin medyo mataas na hehe

I noticed na ang dami ng high rise condos. Parang mushrooms na nagsusulputan at magkakalapit pa sa isa't isa. So kung mababang floor ka, halos wala ng view.

i live in a condo with my family too... well mabagal ang elevator we decided to live in a condo para malapit everywhere like walking distance sa malls and near the hospital din. separate fee din sa parking. we just have 1.

so if ever we haven't bought our parking, we will have to rent like 3k-3,5k per month --> update 4k na ang parking rent ngaun

3BR unit with balcony expensive because of the association dues.

downside.. walang garden but i put a mini herb place sa balcony hehe...

minsan lang nakaka disturb un mga dwellers na boisterous sa common area/hallway..or un mga nag smoke sa balcony from other units.. langhap sarap kase hahaha

Me and my family eh nakatira ngayon sa Arista Place, if I'm not mistaken, 2BR unit w/ balcony yung sa amin, around 77 sq meter laki. We bought it for about 4 million. Maganda siya. Feel talaga namin ng family ko na we're living in a right home.   Safe siya tapos peaceful pa

Hi @paulpaul12 - ask ko lang kung ilan kayo sa family ngayon na nakitira sa arista? also, given yung size ng area niyo, I'm assuming nasa end unit ka? How much ang assoc fees niyo na binabayaran? Thanks!

Swertihan din talaga sa neighbors unless you buy RFO with dwellers na you can ask for feedback.

Simula ng nagwork ako dito sa taguig, parang wala akong makitang matinong place to stay other than condo. Nagbedspace lang ako sa 2 bedroom with 2 balcony na condo. Ang saya kasi andyan lang ang pool. LOL pero ang mahirap siguro pag wala kuryente kasi walang elevator eh sa 18th floor pa naman ako. Hirap siguro pag may mg disaster tapos nasa mataas na floor ka pa.

Living in a condo is really a privilege a good idea talaga. Like me, Im owning a DMCI homes condo! parang feeling ko parang nasa bakasyunan ako palagi kasi ang ganda ng features nila, parang nasa resort ka hahaha. may tirahan ka na, may resort ka pa tapos convenient pa dahil malapit sa mga ibang establishments and other centers. cutieeee.

Wala bang sariling generator ang condo nyo? I thought every condo have one. In our case, meron and every unit is entitled to one electrical outlet and one lightbulb pag brownout. It was put to good use during sa typhoon last year where almost all in the metro had no power for days.

^meron naman sis. LOL nung nag electrical maintenance kasi on each bldg/tower eh may notice na walang power supply from 9am-2pm nung araw na yun. So after work eh kelangan before 9am nasa condo na ako.

I've always wanted to have our own house and lot but since my husband already has a condo before we got married we decided to live there muna and I may say that the experience is good and it always goes backto the developer e if you are well taken care of.

I bought a condo unit in Makati. It is intended for my daughters who wanted to work in Makati .  Is it really safe sa condo? I know there are guards and cctv's , pero how about yung mga dwellers kaya sa neighboring units?  Share nyo mga sis kung talaga bang feeling safe kayo inside your units.

This is I want to know. Although, I'll be living alone. I want the security as high as possibe kasi. You never know when bad things will happen.

If you are a condo dweller, you need to SHARE space especially with your house mates (aka family). No own bedroom, less abubots in the house, no space for gardening, etc. in exchange of convenience. If your condo is situated in a place na malapit sa lahat (and I presume within the metro itong condo-- well lighted, no dark alleys or tricycle na dadaan sa mga vacant lots on the way home) you feel safer outside too. Mas takot ako sa malalaking subdivisions which are far, lalo na if your house is sa dulo kasi after sumakay ng main transpo (like bus or fx) sasakay pa ng tricycle papasok.

Ay sis, agree ako sayo. Yung tipong may mga guard na naglilibot around the vicinity of the condominiums.

I'm wondering too how's condo living for families.. I live in a studio walk-up type condo right now. Pero pag naturnover na yung 2br dmci condo this year, lilipat nako dun.

I'm single and no maid naman so ok lang ako dito sa studio. Since 2008 pako dito. But curious lang ako kasi yung neighbor ko, studio lang din ang unit pero apart from the couple, 3 ang kids nila plus the maid so 6 silang lahat in a 25sqm unit.

Personally di ko kakayanin yung ganung setup unless 3br ang unit ko. Parang nakaka suffocate sa sikip..

^ wow, 6 people in a 25sqm studio? Grabe naman yan, parang di ako makakahinga sa ganyan. Plus zero privacy talaga.

Condo living as a family is doable naman, though mas mahal because kelangan din ng bigger space, at least 2br unit. We live in a condo now, roughly 100-120sqm. 3br+maid's room. Sakto lang sya. Me privacy. Me own space kami. Yung 1 bedroom, ginagawang home office ni hubby when he's working from home. Bale kami ni hubby + 1 toddler + 2 helpers.

May question lang ako sa mga condo unit owners - Did you change he lock after ma turn over ang unit. Kasi, I asked the account officer, sabi nya, hindi na raw kailangan dahil ibigay naman lahat ng keys. Or , did you add a dead bolt?  Sorry,  medyo praning lang ako  kaya very particular ako sa security issues.

Problem is if nasa labas ka , so walang dead bolt . Siguro just an additional lock na lang .Mahal kaya yung gaya sa hotel na  card type.  Are there condo dwellers here who use access cards sa unit nila and how much is the cost?

We own two condo units. Ang isa 2BR at kami ng dad at younger brother ko nakatira plus yaya. Nung college ako, doon ako nakatira. Commute lang papuntang school. We managed naman. Hindi naman masikip. Minsan pumupunta mom ko at youngest brother ko from the province. Doon lang medyo masikip. I have my own room at katabi ko mom ko. Sa other room ko, dad at brothers ko naman. Iyong yaya sa sala. Naawa lang ako sa brothers ko dahil wala sila sariling room.

Iyong other condo naman bago lang. Last year lang binili ng parents ko for me and my brother na sumunod sa akin. One bedroom lang siya. Located near SM Sta.Mesa. Doon ako tumira nung nagrereview ako for my exam. Kasama ko brother ko na medicine student na sa PLM. Hindi na niya kasi kaya magcommute from our 2BR condo. Kasama namin yaya. Hindi naman masikip pag kaming 3 lang. Magkasama kami ni bro sa room. Ang bed kasi namin may other bed sa ilalim na hinihila pag gusto humiga. Ako sa upper bed. Si kapatid sa baba. Si yaya sa sala natutulog.

Nagiging masikip din pag kumpleto pamilya nandun pero minsan lang naman pumunta parents ko at youngest brother ko doon.

That's only a problem if you're referring to the slide type. Ours is key in so walang issue kung nasa labas ka.

My husband wanted the fingerprint sensor but not easy to maintain so old school lock na lang.
