Thanks for your suggestions.

Actually, yung 'friend' ko has left the country and she sends yung contribution nya for the payment intermittently tapos to cover lang yung interest na nagamit nya halos kaya in the end, ako din naiipit because I can't afford to wait for her.

Anyway, the SSS loan is a good idea kaso may pending na ko na loan. I checked and January 2015 pa ko pwedeng mag loan uli. Pero I get disheartened by the finance charges din kasi.

I tried negotiating dun sa BPI rep na nakausap ko and I told her na gusto ko masettle pero I don't have 20K to pay at this time. Sabi nya yun lang daw talaga program nila so no other options.

1. 29,500 payable in 2 mos. (divide by 2 paymets)

Take it from me.

Based from my experiences, I have been through alot of fears when handling delinquencies kasi I have 5 cards before. I already paid 4 of them and isa na lang natira. Which is I think eh inactive or deactivated yung huli.

To be honest, masakit sa bulsa ang umutang para macover up ang payments ang mga yan kaya ngayon palang ako bumabawi sa mga yan.

At least, I am debt-free now. :)

Hi mga sissies! Would really appreciate your help. Meron kasi kami HSBC card and we've been paying the minimum amount for a year na. My question is is it possible na makipag cooperate ako mismo sa bank na bawasan yung utang and pay atleast half of it?

My brother has CC debt din. One card lang naman pero since malapit sa 100k, I know if umabot sa court magkakarecord si kuya. Tapos laging may tumatawag sa dito sa bahay. Kakastress din. Minsan kasi bastos yung agents and yung nakakasagot ng phone is my lola. :(

So nung may dumating na sulat from a law offece, binuksan ko na. They offered an Amnesty and the deadline is the end of the month.

Inexplain ko na I'll be helping may brother pay and that if final na yung deadline, wala talaga kaming magagawa. Kasuhan na nila si kuya.

Then ako na nagpropose na if they can extend the amnesty until Dec., We'll pay this amount, Phpxxxx before the month ends as sign of good faith. Then same amount sa October, November and pagdating ng Dec, yung balance, since there will be bonuses na rin. Wag nila lagyan ng specific date kung kelan since di naman ako sure if may pera that time, basta sure lang is makakabayad within the month. Padalhan din nila si kuya ng email about the arrangement. Buti na lang pumayag yung agent. (Tinawagan nya din pala  si kuya after namin mag-usap, LoL)

I'll update you guys by January pagnakuha na ni kuya yung certificate.

Note:
Make sure lang na pag nakikipag usap is humble pa rin or wag na yung kayo pa ang galit. Like me, pagisipan nyo yung gagawin, when magbabayad, how long will you pay. Para pag nakausap nyo yung agent, you can negotiate with them and parang sila pa yung walang choice but to accept your offer.
Also make sure that you'll comply with what you've agreed upon.

Thank you talaga sa forum na ito. Madami akong natutunan.  :)

Note uli:
Mahirap talaga if may CC debt.

Sis tawag ka sa hsbc then ipa-balance conversion mo yung total outstanding balance mo. it's up to you kung ilang terms kaya mo like 6 months, 12 months, 18 months etc. Magiging fixed monthly amortization mo yun. Kasama na interest sa monthly payment mo.

Ganyan din ako dati sa hsbc. Ang minimum due ko lagi is about 800 plus pero ang binabayad ko ay 1,000 lagi kasi yun lang kaya ko maliit pa sahod ko, so napupunta lang din sa interest. Ilang taon akong ganun.

In the end, na-grant yung request ko then nag monthly payment ako ng 1,463.79 for 12 months included na interest (1,500 binabayad ko monthly). Pero take note ha, may required initial payment muna na medyo malaki bago ma-convert into monthly amortization.

^ Thank you sis sa advice mo! :) Kasi dati nagtry na din ako makiusap na ganyan kaso ayaw nga nila pumayag so siguro pala dapat para maka monthly fixed din ako is stop muna ako magbayad for atleast 2 months. Thank you sa help sis nagka idea ako :)

Hi sisses, anyone here ever tried consulting a legal management/accounting firm to negotiate with the bank on your behalf? May nasearch kasi kong legal management firm and one of their services is makipagnegotiate nga sa bangko on behalf ng client para bumaba yung kailngang bayaran na fees and mag-come up sa isang restructured payment term that would be most favorable sa debtor.  You just need to provide them your SOAs and sign a Special Power of Attorney para sila na bahala. They just require upfront fee of about 10% ng current outstanding balance mo, or depende sa ma-d-deal nila na payment scheme.  I searched in SEC and found out that they are indeed registered naman.

hi mallorn, wala pa talaga ko masearch na review or blog dito sa philippines na experience sa ganito.. i'm taking my risk. madali naman sumagot yung legal management firm everytime na may query ako.. worry ko lang tlaga at pinagppray eh sana hindi sila mahirapan makipagnegotiate sa bank.  isa sa mga advice nila during briefing sakin is kung may tatawag sakin from the bank or from CA man, i should never neglect the call. Bbigyan daw nila ko ng "standard response" that should be delivered as polite as possible. Kasi sa sa kanila mo ipapasa yung "burden" ng collection calls, sila palagi ang dapat makipagusap..  parang ganon. will post feedback regarding sa progress, hopefully all will go well... >.< the catch here is the processing time, sabi nila may nahandle na sila na delinquent na for 3 years, and gusto na lang ipaayos ng card holder yung delinquient account, so they engotiated with the bank, and utang was like more or less 200k na ang inabot. but they were able to close it to less than 10k, pero inabot yun ng almost 3 years.

In my case, sabi nila (and i do really hope so), since i am still updated with my payments, negotiation shouldn't take that long syempre, and it won't certainly come to the point of dealing with harassing CAs or even receiving demand letters, we just need to keep communicating with the bank to come up with an amicable agreement and therefore discourage them to "selling" my account to a third party collection agency.

maraming salamat sis. kailangan pa rin ba raw bayaran yung montly minimum during negotiations or wala na totally hanggang ma-settle na?

ok lang bang pahingi ng pangalan nung firm dahil I'm really interested in getting their services as well? kung di ka komportable, pwede mo rin akong i-PM. mukhang di ako maka-pm kasi probationary lang ako. salamat!

Hindi na sis.  Payments should stop the moment na magpadala ng request sa bank for payment restructuring.

Di kita ma-PM kasi probationary pa lang ako pero feel free to PM me. Maraming salamat sis.

Hi! Sorry ngayon na lang ako makakapag-update.  I have already resolved my problem with my CC. Security Bank and I have come up with a restructuring payment arrangement, which I think is fair enough and kind enough for them to offer.  Pero, I was the one who pursued the transactions and not the law firm. So I figured, ako na makipagnegotiate ng wlang involvement nung law firm.  Eto ok na, stress no more.  I think, for those na matagal ng unsettled yung CC, and opting for something like bankruptcy, you can go to a law firm for assistance.  Pero for those na gusto lang ng restucturing payment arrangement or amnesty, at hindi naman sobrang overdue yung CC, you can try negotiating with the bank yourself.  Start by entertaining collection calls, and tell them you're willing to pay but they also need to help you to pay.  Then you can ask for their email and communicate with them via email para documented.  If you need help on how to write a letter of request, I can provide a template.

any good options??

Hi I hope someone could answer my question. I'm planning to get a car loan but I had a delinquent cc account with rcbc and I just settled it less than a year ago. I'm worried that I might get disapproved since my name could still appear in CMAP due to bad credit. Will that affect the approval of my car loan or can I just show them my certificate of full payment?
