Ako gawain ko right out of work (night shift) direcho na sa ringside. Mas hirap ako magbox when I'm on a morning shift.

ok lang ba if magstart ng boxing kahit may katabaan? wala rin ako exercise the past year, though I went to the gym late last year (2013). Takot ako baka hingalin ako or what. Pero I really wanna try!

suggest ko sis mag cardio ka muna ng a week or 2 bago ka sabak boxing para di mabigla katawan mo

Hello!

Though ill start pa after my classes end this March.

Boxing or any kind of sport or exercise doesn't really have age requirement or age limit; not unless you plan to compete professionally, even so, it is your determination that matters. No matter if you're overweight or haven't taken any sport in your life, one should start somewhere. All it takes is that step to the gym and the will power to overcome trials, injuries, obstacles. Even if you're injured, there's always a workaround. Kaya when you have the urge, go for it!

I was overweight and old and plagued with health issues before I started learning boxing, with commitment, I switched to Muay Thai, lost weight, and gained self confidence. I am no longer a novice and my fight skill will make bad people think twice on hurting me. My only regret is I wished i could've taken this sport sooner. Eh di sana mas masaya and mas naenjoy ko yung benefits ng mas matagal.

Hello.

May nakita kasi ako mura less than 1k pero di sya leather, nakalagay made of PVC okay lang kaya yun? hehe baka madali masira..

Ano po ba magandang brand na bilhin.

Hi @hushhush I suggest investing in genuine leather boxing gloves like Twins, Fairtex or Top King if you're planning to box long term. For ladies, 8 oz/10 oz/12 oz are ok, depending on the size of your fists.

Meron din more affordable options the ones mentioned above :) Try mo muna and see which works for you.
