Hello!  Rainy season na po? Umaakyat pa din po ba kayo?

Newbie pa lang ako sa pag-akyat ng bundok kaya medyo natatakot ako umakyat ngayon kasi madulas panigurado.

Hi! Advice please.

May hiking kami this weekend sa Bukal Falls, Laguna. Sabi ng kasama ko it's almost an hour hike. Before I usually just wear slippers when hiking but this time I'm thinking whether to wear slippers again or rubber shoes for a change.

Any suggestions? Medyo intimidating kasi hiker talaga makakasama ko unlike before everyone are beginners hehe! I also haven't been there so I don't know what to expect, if the trail is easy or hard for beginners. :)

^Do you have sandals? Like this one: http://ph-live-02.slatic.net/p/6/sd1202-black-0536-702873-3566725bf063d6677f2fff7b32b8d4a0.jpg (think I posted about this in previous pages ago). Usually, if falls/river or basta alam ko may chance na mabasa at magputik, sandals ang gamit ko, para madaling mag wash up pag katapos ng trek.

Getting mountain fever!  Solo summit of Humphreys Peak here in Arizona, 3000 ft of hiking to over 12,000 ft summit.  Eyeing 2 more peaks the next couple of months. Going back to Wheeler Peak, over 13,000 ft and my first class 3 14,000 ft peak.
