Snickers bar ang pantawid gutom ko And I like rice, feeling ko di ako mabubusog sa sandwich lang.
Adobo party yung mga kasamahan ko nung huling hike, pero chicken nuggets lang baon ko ~ naiwan ko kasi yung itlog na pula and kamatis ko.

San okay bumili ng trekking pole guys?

Tanong ko naman is anong pinaka-okay na tent? Yung affordable but high quality. I've been searching and saw brands like brown trekker and conquer but would still like your opinion guys. Meron ako nakita sa landmark na coleman for 2 people, php1800, I don't know if this is okay na. Di naman ako madalas talaga magclimb most probably mga 2-3x a year lang and then the rest pangbeach na siguro. :p

Me and my boyfriend had our first climb last Valentine's day sa Maranat. Pero hindi kami umabot sa peak kase sobrang kabog na ng dibdib ko i thought I might collapse. Eh parang madaling trail lang pala yan. Nakakahiya sa mga guide namin na mga chikiting na tinatakbo lang ang ascent. Nagswimming na lang tuloy kami. Pero we'll try it again. Kelangan ko lang maging medyo physical fit kase hindi talaga ako naghanda that time. Medyo nega pa experience namin kase may nagnakaw ng baon naming food pero wala naman nangialam ng mga valuable. But that wont hinder me from trying it again.

^There used to be a time na kahit iwan mo ang gamit mo sa tent e walang mangingialam. Ngayon as more people climb mountains ayun meron ng ganyang cases. Recently meron pa nga akong nabasang post nagnakaw ng cookware, kasama pa oil ha. I hope di na dumami yang ganyan. Take care of your valuables na lang and research sa aakyating bundok. Mt Sembrano for instance is infamous for cases of thieving - pinapasok yung tent ng mga magnanakaw to get cell phones, cameras etc.

Regarding trekking poles. Not necessary naman na branded ang bilhin mo. For as long as it serves its purpose, yun ang pinaniniwalaan ko haha. Not a fan of trek poles since I'm not used to it kapag may hawak while trekking pero yung trek pole ko is yung toomwin ba yun? Not sure kung san sya minanufacture pero ok naman sya. Got it for 150 ata if my memory serves me well.

Regarding sa tent. If bihira mo lang gagamitin pang akyat and more on beach, ok na siguro yan Coleman na yan. Hula ko lang hindi Peak 1 series yung coleman na nakita due to your indicated price. Yung sakin na tent before was Coleman Peak 1 (2-3person tent) pero I sold it after less than 3 months since hindi full fly yun and what I wanted was a tent with a full fly.

Yung kagrupo ko is BT tadpole yung tent nya and so far it performs well. As for me naman, Sideout  Tad ang gamit ko.

@lblackcat Ang binili ko is yung sunrise Coleman na 1800 nga. Haha. Kaso yun nga mukhang pangbeach lang ito. Nung umambon di naman siya pinasok sa loob but I doubt it will resist strong winds and ulan sa bundok. Haha.

Light to moderate rains kaya pa nyan pero if in case na mabigat na yun downpour ng ulan, i bet state of calamity na yung loob nyan haha. Don't forget to buy a foot print for your tent na din. Kahit yung mga trapal na nabibili lang sa palengke oks na yun. Ako ganun lang gamit ko and it serves its purpose naman so ok na din. Plus, kung itatake into consideration mo yung weight nya, oks na oks kasi hindi sya ganun kabigat.

Pwede din naman na wala pero mas ok kung meron since it also serves as additional protection for the floor of your tent.

Any upcoming climbs na meron kayo? Baka pwede makisabit?

Yup, as long long as it serves its purpose any brand will do. Pero syempre titingnan ko rin yung durability since I plan to use them for future travels.

I think trek poles (even the ones na hindi kilala ang brand) are well durable enough for those who know how to properly handle them (proper use, care, etc).

Dati pinangarap ko din yung mga branded na trek poles (BD and the likes) pero practicality, olats na olats ako haha.

guys, any feedback or tips pag aakyat ng mt. romelo? me and my team mates are planning to go there naamaze kasi sila sa falls

It's good to trek Romelo on a a sunny season. Yung tipong at least isang buong linggo na hindi umulan sa Romelo para hindi kayo mahirapan sa trail. Pero if kahit 2 consecutive days lang umulan, better prepare yourselves sa delubyo ng putik haha.

nung minsan may sumabit sa min from outside kahit wala syang kakilalang employee ng company namin, nakita nya lang daw sa Facebook page ng club namin

next weekend sasabit kami sa hike ng isa sa mga foundations na sinusuportahan ng company namin,, altho since kami ang invited di ako makapag sama ng friends
