cant wait to finally have it!
and because i love bling so much, he added the stones on the band. this baby's a pure radiant cut moisssanite.
 isnt she a beauty?

We bought and selected the ring together too. Alam nya maarte ako. Pero he chose the stone and setting. I chose the diamond shape.

@hermione28 -thanks! not really like royal rich. lol can afford lang siguro. sa family nila kasi, its their tradition na must give ering sa fiance nila, and originally my design was much simpler. dapat one row of stones lang sa band. pero qko pumili ng cut and stones. then he showed it sa mom niya, turned out,they both discussed na more stones sitted daw, more luck for us. so ayun, ginawa nilang double row daw.
honestly i was upset a little bit cause the design changed, so he was willingto change it naman to its original design. but i slept overnight and when i woke up i realize na it was donewith good intentions naman and since alam nyangi love stones,he didnt think na i would mind it changed.
accept ko na, band lang namannagchange eh so i told him na its ok, stones were added and simbolizes his love, so no need to revamp.

@LilaFowler not yet sis, kaya nga spoiler alert. hehe but he has to cause our civil would be 2wks from now.

^ hi! for me and what i know, this is the next to diamond na quality. if am not mistaken its like 90% as durable and hard as diamond thats why i chose this stone instead of CZ. it doesnt easily break nor scratch.
one thing lang na nalamangan niya ang diamond is its fire. it sparkles more than diamond. and its cheaper than diamond. i asked the jewelry guy first time kami pumunta dun, pinakita q itong size ng center stone, he said if diamond ang gamitin abutin ng $50k-$70k. he then recommended CZ, since he has it and yun daw mabenta sa shop but ayaw ko naman. so i researched sa google whats the stone which is just like diamond, moissanite. its not cheap, but atleast way affordable than diamond.
i waited quite some time kasi he ordered the stone from states to here in rwanda. daming problema nyan, kasi nahold pa sa customs dito, they didnt want to release it cause we need proof na aside from the documents itself, they needto check na its not a smuggled diamond from congo. (kasi nga again, this stone looks like the real thing) . but thank God because in time napakawalan rin. halos mag 2 months siya nasa customs:(

Wow that's informative, sis sensi. Actually, haven't heard of Moissanite stones until now. Certified din ba ang moissanite stones ng GIA?
I have no idea kasi on the other stones because when we buy for diamond, yun lang tinitingnan namin. If it is GIA certified. They rate the diamond kasi based on 4Cs. And gusto ko din pag graded na sya D-F which means colorless. hehe

Anyway, buti nirelease sya ng customs sis! Can't wait for your proposal story. ishare mo dito sooooon. ☺️

^^yes sis pati ang setting... honest truth, i havent ask him yet if its a white gold or silver.let me ask pag nabigay na niya.haha pero what we planned for our wedding bands eh white gold. am not sure lang dito sa ering.

^sis, i really dont know.but according to what the jewelry guy shared with me, moissanite gemstones are pre-screened by GIA trained diamong graders to ensure only the very highest quality moissanites are used. sabi niya where he ordered the stone, it comes with an independent lab certification that guarantees its color.

and yes i will share my story once its on my finger na!kaloka, i can hardly sleep at night.hehe

^ Moissanite is not graded by GIA. I'm not sure if GIA grades man-made stones. Pero they have a color grading as well that is equivalent to diamond color grading - forever classic (J-K), forever one (D-F) and forever brilliant (G-I).

^ i do think thats what the jewelry guy is preffering to, the color grading and clarity ang tinitignan ng lab. kasi yes hindi naman siya diamond and man made siya.

May naencounter ako lately (I forgot which mall), meron na daw sila man-made diamond.. as in synthetic diamond pero lahat ng qualities ng diamond andun na, so you are more likely to get a purer(lesser inclusions) diamond kasi lab made na daw. Then cheaper siya than natural diamonds. And parang nirrate na din ng GIA yung gawa nila... Narinig nyo na ba ito?

^^yeah sis, the funny part,syempre he told me the ring is done, now please stop asking questions about where and when you're gonna have it cause i do have plans. so i clearly told him, just make sure na hindi ako pangit sa day na yun at make sure my nails are done.which he agreed naman;)

^sis pwedeng hanapin mo ulit ang mall and ask about it? can be a moissanite theyr talking about. dito kasi sa rwanda walang moissanite pa kaya sa US pa kinuha ang stone. but i know moissanite is a man made stone. im not sure lang rin if ano pa bang ibang stones are man made. im curious to know though.
