 For me it depends on the church venue. Usually, it takes a year. Just be ready and set a 1 year gap.

Our wedding is 1 year in the making. Got engaged last January, and wedding will be in Jan 2016.

Booked the church and reception first, then P/V, then sunod sunod na. We target to book all our suppliers 3td qtr of this year.

Prep duration for us is 13 months. Got engaged in January 2015 and our wedding is on February 2016.

As of now, most of our suppliers are booked na: church, reception venue, caterer, coordinator, emcee, photo-video, wedding gown, entourage dresses & bridal hmua.
