My Love from the Star (Hangul: 별에서 온 그대; RR: Byeoreseo on geudae; literally You Who Came from the Stars) is a South Korean television series about an alien who landed on Earth 400 years ago in the Joseon Dynasty, who then falls in love with a top actress in the modern era. It aired on SBS from 18 December 2013 to 27 February 2014 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 21 episodes, as the production company decided to extend the originally 20-episode series with one episode, due to demand from viewers. Main characters:
Jun Ji-hyun ... Cheon Song-yi,
-a top Hallyu star who is very blunt and believes that she is every man's type, until she meets her stoic neighbor, Do Min-joon. She soon develops feelings for him and tries to make him fall for her.


Kim Soo-hyun... Do Min-joon,
a very cold and distant being, he loved a girl who lived during the Joseon Dynasty for liking him as his true self, an alien. After the girl dies saving him, he waits to return home. Rumors are spreading that GMA bought the rights to this show. Since nabili ng Kapamilya ang The Heirs.

I SAW BOTH DRAMAS and honestly I got bored with Heirs that I fast forwarded to the finale. BUT YWCFTS talaga ang nakaadikan ko. During the live streaming halos 2am na ako matulog kakahintay ng eng subs. Hahaha

Anyways I hope they (GMA) will do justice to dubbing this.
At sana pumunta dito ang 2 bida!  Wishful thinking*

So i am reading comments sa gooddrama, by june daw start ng filming ng season2 coz kim soo hyun will enter the military by sept. In question pa daw availability in jjh....how true is this kaya?

Sis toocrazy both of them bid for the heirs but since ABS won,
SBS gave YWCFTS to GMA. little did they know na dapat ito pinag-agawan nila!
Haha promise, I didn't bother watching the whole story ng heirs because at some point
Na bore ako. But never with this.

I'm a bit skeptical with that kasi never pa nagkaroon ng
Drama na naghihit ang season 2 compared with the first..
Like full house2, even yung they kissed again.
And if JJH is not going to be on season2, mas lalong hindi bebenta yun.

Im currently watching this. Nasa episode 11 na ata ako. Hay naku! lakas makabitin ng YWCFTS patulog na ako but since sobrang bitin pag ending, I just have to watch the next episode. Ayan tuloy, ilang araw na akong puyat.

I still remember Jeon Ji Hyun in My Sassy Girl. I watched this movie a decade ago. basta one day nag-uwi ang older brother ko ng copy sa dvd nito from their office. nainis pa nga ako kasi walang subtitle ang title but the rest is ok. matagal bago namin nalaman ang title. and now if tatanungin ang older bro ko, siya lang ang kilala niyang korean actress at ito ang favorite movie niya. 

meanwhile, I haven't watched other Kim Soo Hyun kdrama aside The Moon That Embraces the Sun. last year ko lang siya minarathon and I remember isang baso yata ng luha ang inilabas ko. i'm not sure bakit ako naca-carried away pag umiiyak siya.  don't ask if ilan beses akong na-replay ang series na yan. 

on track:
I've just watched this series and natapos ko siya for 4 days. kahit busy ang working schedules may included pa rin sa panonood nito sa isang laptop. the real age different is not an issue for these two leads. maybe dahil mature ang portrayal ni K.SH at bubbly at pasaway si JJH. though mas gusto ko kung walang make-up si JJH. she looks young and refreshing than her real age.  worth it na pinatapos ko muna ang series na ito bago ko siya panoorin. kung hindi nangyari yun I'm sure na frustrated ako for 12 weeks.  hehe...

and oh, I thought walang role si Chun Yoon Jae dito pero siya ang nagpatawa sa akin sa buong series. their E.T. moments are so hilarious. dahil siguro they copied the memorable scenes ng English movie. wait, i have a question. saan galing ang chocolate milk na binigay ni Do Min Joon sa kanya? In his ref or nag-ala the flash mode. 

oopps, i have to cut it this na since mahaba na po. sorry. 
basta, I'll watch it again and it's NOW na.

^high five! Nako feel na feel ko yan moon that embraces....super impressed ako sa acting ni kim soo hyun! Kada episode ata walang hindi bumuhos ang emotions ko dahil sa acting nya....and super tease nya kasi diba nakakagigil hehe...haha 3x ko yan inulit my fave seguk drama 🎎

So now inspired na ako to watch sassy gitl, nabore kasi ako sa first 30mins nun dati e.

Sis ilovejdy oo nga if hindi si jjh wag nlng...i can't search kung how valid ang source nila na may season2 talaga...pareho tyo super nabore ako sa heirs, i had high expectations kasi diba writer sya ng secret garden...i only liked the start nung naguusap sila sa fb account ni psh duns sa start lang. Ep5 onwards inantok nako lol

I love the moon embracing the sun, too! Pero if I had to choose just 1..mas gusto ko pa din ito! 

Mga sis grabe talaga effect ng YWCFTS sa CHINA  ..sana ganun din ang effect sa atin dito para pumunta si K.S.Y. at JJH dito!!
hehe. 

Sis fornarina same tayo,  nag-search talaga ako if may book 2  ito.  Though gusto ko din ng season 2, (kasi bitin padin ako eh.)
Pero sana masurpass nila yung 1st.. at same cast padin.

watched every movie and drama na si kim soo hyun ang bida.. dream high days palang niya alam ko na me potential talaga siya sumikat magaling siya magportray ng emotions na hindi kaya ng ibang artista..

Natapos ko narin Ang ganda niya. Hanapin niyo yung movie na Thief or Thieves. Dun sila unang nagkasama, I guess maganda chemistry nila kaya ginawan sila ng drama.

I love JJH. My sassy girl and windstruck Idol ko na siya. Ang galing niya talaga umarte. As for [textspeak!], sa dream high ko siya napanood. He has a lot of potential.

I was sobrang hooked with this drama!  Sobrang love ko si Do Min Joon, kasi din naman ang galing ni KHJ.  JJH medyo di ko feel before pero after... now I'm a fan!  Nabasa ko din yung plans for a season 2.  But then the PD was talking about the past 400 years of DMJ and how he had loved other girls before (as in hindi si Choi Song Yi yung first love nya). Parang kung hindi din naman si KHJ and JJH yun actors wag na lang.  It was because of their chemistry that's why this drama was sizzling! <3 <3 <3

i bought a PHR pocketbook last Thursday and it was written by Ms Vanessa. Di ko napansin na she wrote her own story related sa My Sassy Girl the movie. hehe...then i'm in the 2nd time watching this YWCFTA pa naman. nai-imagine ko tuloy si Kim Soo Hyun yung guy sa story na binabasa ko. haha...halo-halo together na tuloy ang pagda-daydream ko. 

anyway, i'm curious lang sa layout ng condo nina Do Ming Joon at Cheon Song Yi. According sa floor plan, paglabas ng elevator, right turn then nasa left side yung door ni Song Yi while yung kay Ming Joon is in the right side. Pero paano nangyari na ang balcony ni Song Yi eh napunta sa right side tapos yung kay Ming Joon nasa left side.  Di ko maisip kung anong style ng condo nila. haha...(sorry mahilig kasi akong magbrowse ng mga floor plans) back to watch mode ulit!

^ xactly sis naisip ko din yan, nabaliktad siguro nila, diko nga magets logic nun balcony nila e. I read na real condo sila nagshoot and naannoy pala tenants dahil sa pag gamit ng elevator and ingay daw ng shooting. Did you also notice sa ending credits nandun si kenneth cobonpue? So siguro kanya yung fab sofa sets nung 2 condo 😋
