For those who have travelled with infants, may free ba silang carry on baggage allowance aside from the stroller check in?

^^vain_kixie, infants do get carry on and cabin baggage allowance even if you don't buy a seat - it may just depend on the airline you're flying with and if you're on a domestic or international flight. When we flew Singapore Airlines to Manila with our then 4 month old daughter, she was allowed one nappy bag for her supplies (maximum weight was 7 kgs) and 1 checked in luggage with a maximum weight of 10kgs. We traveled economy and we didn't buy a seat for her

For Qantas, the infant checked baggage allowance is the same. 10kg plus 3 infant items (pram/carry cot/car seat)

For Emirates, it's also 10kg plus cabin baggage (infant necessities)

For PAL, also 10kgs checked baggage and 7kgs cabin baggage

These are all international flights though. Are you flying with any airline in particular? Domestic or international?

Hi! New here! Planning to buy na din a stroller kahit early pa. Initially wanted to get the Bugaboo Bee but ayaw ni hubby since he wasn't too impressed daw sa features so we might get the Aprica Luxana na lang. It's on sale until end of July

My hubby bought aprica karoon. Kasi daw its lightweight and kabit ako lang magisa, madali lang maligpit at mabitbit at the same time.

Really? When we travelled on PAL my daughter's ticket did not state any baggage allowance, my MIL even asked the travel agent and they said there was none. This was an international flight pa

^ yep! Parang impossible for an airline to not allow an infant who needs everything but the sink to not have any luggage what about nappies, bottles of milk, snacks, spare clothes? I wouldn't fly on that airline if they're that inconsiderate.

Help! I'm so confused. I don't know which to choose, Bugaboo Bee or Aprica Luxana. I only have until tomorrow to decide. May nakita kasi si MIL na Bug overseas, it's 10k cheaper there. Kaya lang gusto rin namin nung Aprica. Any suggestions, mommies?

^The Bugaboo Bee is nice but only for city use. If you plan to bring your stroller for your trips abroad, the Aprica is better coz its really lightweight and isang pindot lang na-fold na agad. That's why we bought the Bugaboo Bee first and plan to buy the Aprica when the baby is fit to travel na.

Hello sis caterpillar-girl

It's easy to maneuver pero it's not lightweight. I think Uppababy is not ideal for travelling (esp. If trains ang mode of transpo out of country) kasi when i bought it sa states, i brought it here sa pinas through check in, nabigatan ako nung binuhat ko siya from the carousel ahaha. Im just 5'3 but it suits me well. And really easy to pack away balak ko siya dalin sa jeju trip namin this november since car naman ang mode of transpo sa jeju will do a detailed review pag gamit na gamit ko na siya hehe

Thanks sis! Will wait for your detailed review. So far on my list I have that, Mamas and Papas, and Baby Jogger.  I tried an Aprica once kasi, it felt too plastic-y for me. Parang ang flimsy. But that's an old model. Maybe the new ones now are much better.

anyone has the capella compact? how does it compare to aprica or combi strollers? too plastic-y nga ang aprica to be the 'main' stroller.

I wanna get rid of my Mamas and Papas urbo2 na talaga! Just looking for a replacement na parent facing and deep recline. Plus im getting a travel stroller.

^why are you getting rid of your urbo2? We love ours! My son sleeps so comfortably in it when we go out.

We have the aprica karoon.

We've been using it since my baby was newborn and the handles are reversible.  It's very lightweight at 3.6kg.  We've used it daily and to travel as well.  It survived the airports but recently I bought a plastic to cover it when intercepted sa plane door because I realize it's mixed with other luggages and madumi na when we get it back upon arrival.

But now that I'm abt to have baby#2, I'm looking at buying Aprica Stick for my eldest because she's a big baby.  It's at 6kg but it is very sturdy.  By the time there's the new baby, she's 1yr6mos.  The new baby will use the Karoon muna.

Aprica is lightweight but sturdy.  Definitely worth it sya.

When I tried graco and chicco, parang they're too heavy and effort I-maneuver after I got used to aprica.

Khriseeeeee find it too bulky. But i love the recline and esp the look. Hubby doesnt wanna let go of it. He doesnt mind the weight. I guess its just not meant for travelling. I prolly just need a travel stroller together with the urbo2.
