hi sisses,

ask ko po baka may makapag bigay ng input.. plan din sana namin kumuha ng mom ko ng visa. kaka-retired lang nya as a gov teacher last december gusto ko sana sya samahan sa US to visit my aunt, sister naman ng father ko. US citizen din sya retired nurse. my mom's source of income will be her pension na lang then ako naman working for 3 years now to my current employer and i'm married but separated to my husband but not legally separated and that's for 3yrs now and we have 2 kids (7yo and 5yo). i also travelled naman different countries in asia so may tatak naman ang passport ko.


questions:
1. need ko pa ba declare that my x and i are no longer together?

2. kung hindi ko naman idedeclare na separated kami may questions pa kaya about him? like work?

3. my aunt will finance the trip, ano po kaya mga dapat nya ibigay samin para ipakita sa consul?

4. vacation lang talaga ang plan namin so 3weeks lang. pano kaya namin majujustify sa consul na we have strong ties to come back to the Philippines

5. im working nga pala to american company - insurance CSR ako dun. may point/bearing ba yun? hehe

Hi everyone! I already have a multiple visa and I am planning to get one for my son. Anyone here na same ang situation ko? My son is 5 years old na. Gusto lang namin i-tour sa Disneyland kasi sobrang nag enjoy sya sa HK Disney. Nakalibot na rin naman sya sa ASEAN countries and this will be his 4th trip if ever. 

Madali ba makakuha ang minors ng visa lalo na may visa na yung parent?

^^ i have yet to hear a story na denied ang minors na may visa na ang parents. Usually approved na yan sis. Just make sure you bring his birth certificate and your marriage contract.

WE got a good deal airfare ticket last December so we bought our ticket first before applying for visa. It was risky though..

We had our interview earlier, very helpful and thread na ito and I must agree na almost same lang ang questions na tinatanong.

1. VO asked if we are family.- family of three
2. purpose of travel - leisure and celebrate my bithday in US
3. where in US
3. intended length of travel
4. profession naming mag asawa
5. asked if we have relatives in US
6. no docs asked but we prepared employment certificate, bank statement at passbook.

It was quick at syempre  na ka ka kaba din but we all got approved kanina sa window 2.

My Mom and sister got 10 years din. Yahoo! Sobrang dali lang aw sa kanila. Now, Dad ko na lang. hehe

Hi po! I have a question po regarding my husband's address. He is currently working abroad and is not going to apply with me to get a US Visa. My question is, what should I place as his address? "Same as Home Address" po ba since this is his home, or should I put instead the address of the hotel where he is staying abroad for his work? TIA!

mukhang mabilis nga pagkuha ng visa for kids.. just applied for my 2yr old and 4 yr old sons, no docs required.. maybe it also helped that parents have already US visa and travelled US previously..

Hi mga sis,

My brother is going to be the best man sa wedding ng best friend niya sa LA sa May. Sasama ako sa kanya sa pag-apply ng US visa hehe... I tried backreading but am still confused. I have a few questions -
1) We've paid the visa fee with BPI this morning, question, can we schedule the interview na or do we need to finish answering the DS 160 form before we can schedule an interview? Wala pa kaming nagagawang itinerary, kailangan ba yun at this moment when we make an appointment?
2) When my brother schedules his interview, puwede na lang niya akong isama sa dependent di ba? or
3) Does he need to create a group application?

Sorry kung natanong na ang mga tanong ko dati, pero thank you sa lahat ng mga sasagot.

^hi!

ang masasagot ko lang definitely is question number 3. ang "group" appointment is only for groups of 5 or more. family lang kayo if 2 lang kayo ng brother mo. sa scheduling page, there is an option to add a family member.

about question 1, in my case we finished the DS even before we paid sa BPI. you need the DS application number to schedule an appointment. not sure if the DS application needs to be officially submitted before you can sched an appointment.

^not sure, pero according to this website:
"You must submit your DS-160 application online PRIOR TO making an appointment for an interview at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate."

Thanks sis Annie, oo nga, haha will wrap this up, may expiration ba yun payment ng visa fee? Like we should have scheduled an appointment x days after we have paid the visa fee.

May ilang questions uli ako...
- iba ang forms ng male at female sa DS 160? ako na rin ang nagsagot sa brother ko pero ang haba haba sa kanya...
- Doon sa contact person sa US and address, should we write the contact number of my brother's friend or a hotel? We will be attending the wedding but we won't be staying at their place. We're planning three weeks in the US, one week sa LA kung saan rin gaganapin ang wedding, then SF, LV.
- Mayroon akong hard copy ng mga visa pics, puwede k ba yung picturan at yun na lang i-upload sa form? (Sorry it sounds like a dumb question)

1. di ko alam if the visa fee expires. better finish the DS form asap.

2. yes, iba ang forms or men and women. mas mahaba yung form for males. may educational background pa, etc. normal lang yun. i got freaked out din dati but thanks to the ladies here, nalaman kong ganun pala talaga.

3. hmmm i think yung contact number ng friend ng brother mo who is getting married ang dapat mong ilagay.

4. baka malabo yung kalabasan if you simply take pics of your pictures. baka pwede mong i-scan? what i did was ask the photo studio to give me digital copies of our pics so i can upload them. the online visa application will automatically decline pictures that do not meet quality standards. you can always try, pag rejected palitan mo.

hope this helps! i got a lot of info here when hubs and i applied for our visa, so i am returning the favor.

^^i used a webcam photo for my 160 form before. Although tinanggap sya upon upload, i still brought a photo nung interview ko. I think nakalagay naman ito sa mga reminders on what to bring for the interview. Hiningan pa din nila ko ng photo during the interview and that was the one they used on my visa stamp.

Last question, ang dadalhin sa interview ay yung confirmation slip ng DS 160, hindi yun DS 160 form mismo, right?
