hi mga sis ask ko lang may profile if mas malaki ba chance and what documents to prepare.
currently working for 3years na turning 4years next year in same company. position is TRANSLATOR/INTERPRETER. married with 1 baby (3months old) palang. me and hubby lang will apply for visa baby is too young pa kasi to travel with us kaya sa susunod ko nalang siya kukuhaan ng visa.

question ko.
1. in the application form i will be using my married name na will it be ok if yung other documents ko like ITR, COE is under my single name pa din?

2. do you include your passbook mismo or certificate lang from the bank pwede na?

3. my passport is also under my single name sa 2017 kasi expire so that year ko nalang plan palitan para hindi ko na sasadyain ok lang naman na sa application form i will use my married name na?

^Actually sis, dapat may uniformity yung documents mo. Plus your passport is your official document. Kung ang ginagamit mo na current name mo eh married name, dapat lahat under your married name. They will ask you kung bakit magkaiba. May red flag na kaagad.

sis sdee, mukhang tama si sis Missus O, kung ano gamit mo sa passport, iyon ang gamitin mo sa application. On my part, my name on my passport is like "Maria Dela Cruz-Richards" kunyari. I used said name sa application. However, for my other supporting documents, Maria Dela Cruz pa rin like bank cert, etc although hindi naman kami hinanapan ng mga docs.

I remember, sa US visa application, may nakalagay ata sa first part na OTHER NAMES USED or KNOWN. Lagay mo yung other name mo. on my part, since Maria Dela Cruz-Richards na yung gamit ko, I wrote Maria Dela Cruz dun sa other names used portion.

ah so if my single name sa passport is " annie tiu santos "  then married name is " annie santos pua "
pwede ko indicate nalang sa application form ko is yung married name ko tama ba? which is the  " annie santos pua "

regarding bank certificate i have a bank acct na under my married name na then un ibang bank acct naman under my single name. pero pinapalitan ko nalang sa hr namin yung itr and coe ko under my married name nalang?

^It might be better if you just update your passport. Since your supporting documents are in your married name. Pwedi mo ilagay na other names known , yung maiden name mo as that was what you were formerly known as, but not apply in your old name and then put your married name as other names known as since dapat yung most recent ang gamit mo. Plus, magrereapply ka rin lang naman ng passport since magexpire na yun sa 2017, then just reapply now, para di ka na bumalik sa US Embassy para ipa reissue or ipalipat yung visa mo to your new passport. When I applied for my Canadian visa, I also had a year left sa Passport ko, and they told me that they cannot issue a miltiple visa kasi I only had a year left, and they want the visa in the same passport that I am using. So magagamit ko yung visa ko for that year, pero once na nagpalit ako ng passport, di ko na magagamit yung visa ko. Yun yung sabi nila sa akin. Kaya I just settled for a single entry visa tutal hindi naman ako babalik sa Canada anytime soon. Good luck.

@sdee, ok lang if gamitin mo ang maiden name mo. Wala naman inconsistency dyan kasi yaan ang name mo at birth, supported ng birth certificate mo. Kasama naman ang marriage contract kaya makikita nila if may naiba sa last name mo. If mabibigyan ka naman ng 10yrs ME visa, kahit 2017 na mag-expire ang passport mo ay bibigyan ka pa rin naman nila. Kung hindi kasi pupuwede yun passpot na 2 yrs na lang validity sana nilagay nila sa list ng requirements ng pagkuha ng visa. Bale ang guide ay yung list of requirements nasa website naman. I got 10 yrs M US visa. I applied in Uganda a part of africa. I had some documents which are under my maiden and my husband's surname however my passport is under my maiden name so i had to use my maiden name on the DS- 160 application.

Name in current passport and name in application form (DS160) must match. But for supporting documents, ok lang kung maiden name pa ang naka-indicate kasi meron naman marriage and birth certificates, they can still verify/validate identity.

^awww. Katakot naman yan. Through Interview Waiver Program ba sya or yung usual? Ano ba yung previous visa nya saka ilang beses na sya nagpunta sa US? Saka ano mga tinanong sa kanya?

Nope hindi siya sa dumaan Interview Waiver Program... Yung previous visa niya is B1/B2 din pero may visa din siya na transit visa kasi umuwi na dito sa philippines.

1 yr lang ang validity ng tourist visa niya 2010 pa issued at tsaka may annotation din siyang nakalagay doon

mag fillout na ako ng application form kaso parang may mali kasi yung kay hubby ni ask siya kung saan yung previous job niya and ni ask sakanya sa form kung anong countries na ang napuntahan niya pero yung sa akin walang ganong question. meron ba sainyo na ganun din yung application form?

^ usually pag female walang ganyang questions. Ganyan din sa akin before, no employment and travel history sa form.

sis sdee, those documents should suffice. they normally wouldn't ask for any documents during the interview. they usually just refer to your application form.

Mga sis meron na ba dito na nursing grad na nabigyan ng visa? Secnd course ko sya way back 2006 pa. Naka encounter ba kayo ng problem? Not working as a nurse now.

im a registered nurse but i did not practice. I got a visa, although mine was renewal.

my nurse friends naman who pursued the profession, they weren't able to get a visa.
