a friend of mine had their interview ( with the daughter).. napansin nya sa pre screening window kapag daw hindi hiningi yung dala mo picture pagdating sa interview eh feel mo na daw declined ka na..

anybody who has observed that?

^Yeah, ang alam ko uploaded na pics sa online application. Recently lang hubby uploaded his for his crew visa application.

Pag ata the uploaded picture doesnt meet the correct size requirement they ask you to retake the picture. May kodak doon inside, well i applied 3 years ago so i  dont know of they still do that today. Doesnt have to do anything with the visa being rejected or approved.

Hmm, pinapadala lang naman yung picture just in case the uploaded photo doesn't meet all the requirements -- pwedeng problem sa size, sa lighting, etc.. So kung okay na yung photo na inupload mo, say nag scan ka ng actual 2x2 photo, okay na yun. Sa akin kasi the photo i uploaded was from my laptop camera so i needed to provide a clearer one.

i'm planning to celebrate my 30th birthday in california next year. I have a 10 year multiple visa which i got in 2010 (before i graduated college). i haven't used it because 1. nagschool pa ako. 2. i focused on my business and worked, hindi na ako nakaalis for my graduation treat kasi hindi ako nakaipon 3. i got married and gave birth to my son in 2012/2013. 4. building our home pa so medyo short pa. so now na medyo manageable na ang expenses ito na nga ang goal ko for 2016. pinaka goal ko pa talaga dito is i want to finally see my papa whom i havent seen in 25 years. (for myself to be whole talaga)

so im turning 30 next year in July, planning to leave ng buong July lang. i have already a visa and of course im bring my son (turning 3 in march) with me. hubby will be left in manila (because he has work). i have relatives in the san francisco na point of entry ko. my mom's sister and my grand aunt (and her family). my papa lives in LA. if ever, im only mentioning the people in SFO not my papa. my mom is also coming with us. i am a house wife with an online business, which is earning well (good enough to support my travel) but has no business license or BIR yet. my mom will be the one to purchase our tickets will i declare this?) but i will cover the other personal expenses. we will be staying in our relatives house. my mom also has her 10-year multiple visa (also my sis and bro and stepfather). this coming trip will be my 3rd time in the US (ive only been to japan, hongkong, xiamen china, Singapore and malaysia)

what's my son's chance in getting his visa?

what are the requirements that i have to bring? hindi ko talaga matanto kung ano dun sa website since yung bata lang naman yung kukuhaan ko ng visa. kaming dalawa lang ang pwedeng pumasok sa embassy nun right? pwede ba magdala ng food/milk inside for the kid? okay lang bang hindi ko iregister yung business ko? wah ayoko mag bayad ng tax. ang sama ko ba? haha. im selling toddler boys clothes and accessories that are handmade. eh parang ayoko pa isalba ito. LOL well i can naman until business license (dati kasi yung first business ko 6 years ago, license lang ako). if ever DTI and business permits lang dalin ko pwede na ba yun? 1 year and 2 months na sya running. bank account ko naman is okay since dun pumapasok yung payments sakin. ito ang kinacontemplate ko talaga. sabi kasi ng mom ko kailangan me patunay daw ako financially. eh ang mapapakita ko as of now lang ay yung bank account ko (so bank statement, pero diba san galing yung dumadating dun? haha) do i also need to secure a COE of hubby to prove that he has work? tapos should i declare na house wife ako or na i have a business? hindi naman pwedeng si hubby ang mag finance sa travel na hindi sya kasama? or pwede din. pati pa (mas malaki pa ang income ko sa sweldo niya) priority din ba pag me toddler? no need to line up? and how soon should i apply for july trip?  diba since toddler, me name of parents, ang US visa ko ay maiden name, what should i put?

My H1B visa extension got approved last aug 12, sabi ng consul idedeliver yung passport after a week. Until now wala padin so tumawag ako sa courier. Ang sabi nasa embassy pa daw . Sent an email to the embassy and nagbigay lang sila ng link kung saan pwede icheck yung visa status. Pagka check ko ang status is "Administrative Processing" since Aug 12 pa. Based sa mga online forums may ilang cases na umaabot ng months sa ganitong status. Naku po, hindi pwedeng madelay yung visa lagot na ko sa manager ko sa US ang tagal ko na sa pinas May mga ganitong experience ba kayo? Gano katagal bago niyo nakuha yung passport?

^Hi shyreen, I believe that the US embassies around the world are having issues in producing the visas due to backlog from previous delays in issuance.  They've been having this problem since June.  Normally it takes 7-14 days from interview to your passport being issued. Thus since you've only had your interview last 12th of August, you should be expecting your passport by the end of next week. Did they not tell you as to when you should be expecting your passport back? How many days has it been in Administrative Processing? Keep monitoring  the USCIS for updates. Once it says Issues then wait 3-4 days before your passport gets delivered. Best of luck

That's what happened to me, na approved naman ako then they didn't ask for my picture then I asked them ang sabe hinihingi lang ang picture pag di sa kanila pasado yung picture na nasa form DS160. Talagang tinanong ko yan.haha sigurista lang ako

i wrote my mom (other relative sa option) yun naman kasi yung totoo, tama ba na yun ang ilagay ko?

travel companion: ako at mom ko nilagay ko

length of stay is 3 weeks

iniisip ko sumugal muna eh. feeling ko mabibigyan naman son ko. hahahaha. positive thinking. hindi ko muna ireregister yung business ko, gawin ko na ito ng september or october. magsasabi lang ako ng totoo pag tinanong ako. gusto ko lang mag disneyland kami ng anak ko on my 30th birthday yun na. hahahaha. diba yun lang naman yun eh. sasabihin ko i celebrated my 5th and 20th birthday in disney, i want my 30th will be even more special, considering i have a son na. wala akong ibang rason, my husband is the biggest reason why we are definitely returning to the our country. he wont be able to join us because he couldnt or will not be allowed to get a 3 week straight leave in the company where he works. thats just it. ang iprep ko lang yung bank ko na me pera siguro.

if hindi palarin, at least me time ako to prepare my business permits then reapply early 2016.

Thank you sis walang sinabi kung kelan yung estimated delivery date e. Sabi lang nung naginterview 1 week. Administrative Processing na status niya since Aug 12 wala pang nagbago. Mukhang kelangan ko ulit magparebook ng flight ah, sa 29 na kasi yung flight ko. Anyways thanks sa info sis, sana nga weeks lang hindi months ang aantayin.

^sis shyreen, it has only been 8 working days since you've had your interview.  According to Visa Journey it currently  takes 2-4 weeks once the passport has been issued.  Anyways, hopefully you get it by the end of this week.  Best of luck

i don't think this is true, sis. kasi hindi hiningi yung pics namin, pero approved kami (though wala pa yung passport --we are still waiting).

they only ask for your picture kung malabo yung inupload mo, and malabo yung print. since high-resolution yung i-naupload namin, and laser yung printer, hindi na siguro kinailangan hingin yung 2x2 pics.

our interview was pleasant and easy. our consul was a nice guy, very jolly and friendly. though na-deny yung lady naininterview nya right before us, so kinabahan ako, pero na-approve naman kami. questions were about work, specifically what we do mismo sa jobs namin, income, where we live, the usual.

we prepared bank statements, ITRs, pati title ng condo, pero wala naman hiningi. as in ang dami kong dalang papel, pati mismong passbooks, pero walang hiningi.

he asked about out previous travels and seemed satisfied nung malaman nyang we have been to europe.

i noticed that the consul was looking at our body language, eye contact, ganun. siguro they are human lie detectors talaga. eh since malinaw naman na talagang toursim lang ang habol namin, siguro he figured sige na nga, bigyan ng visa

sa mga nag-wo-worry about show money, hindi naman talaga hinihingi so wag na kayong kabahan. what they really look at is your monthly/yearly income.

hubby and i are by no means rich. middle class, nasa low six figures ang combined monthly income, pero siguro nakita nya talagang wala kaming interest mag-TNT. sincerity goes a long way.

hi mga sis, sobrang naaawa ako for my sister, kasi she is already denied 2x na, and she will apply for the 3rd time.

My other youngest sister who is currently in the US bec of Fiance Visa is going to marry this October 2015. Ngayon most of us will be attending. My eldest sister and her husband plus 2 kids, 1 try lang approved agad at multiple entry pa!

Now, this sister who is denied 2x is hoping na ma aaprove na yung 3rd application nya kasi she really wants to attend our sister's wedding (See, we are 4 sisters!)

What advice can you tell her para ma approve na siya?
She is still single in her 30s pero has a very stable job and her pay is better than all of us.
She's been to Singapore and Japan for vacation as tourist before.
She also have some savings from the bank.

Gusto nya lang talaga umattend ng wedding ng sister ko, at wala syang balak mga TNT doon dahil super ok ang work nya at company

Thank you for your e-mail.

Your nonimmigrant visa application is still temporarily suspended under Section 221(g) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended, pending further administrative processing.  We regret we are unable to provide you with any guidance as to how long this will take.  Rest assured that we will inform you as soon as the administrative processing is completed and a determination on your visa application is made.

Then ang latest status update na is Aug 26 - Pero Administrative Processing parin yung status. Waaaah ano ang ibig sabhin. Approved naman nung naginterview ako at kinuha naman nila yung passport. Worried na ko

^ sis maybe they are just trying to verify pa your documents. When you emailed them, did you state that you were approved by the interviewer? Maybe it would be best to wait awhile more. Kasi all I know is that the releasing of visas take time these days. Try going to visa journey.com. There are a lot more people there who can help you.  And the website caters soley on all types of  US visa applications worldwide. Best of luck sis.

sisses help! I have been denied 2x na for a tourist visa, and it is really frustrating, why can't the consuls listen and understand carefully what situation I have I am a following-to-join derivative beneficiary kasi of my husband who's already in the US. I don't want yet to pursue my petition (interview na lang ang hinihintay sa akin pero hindi pa ako handa talaga, bakit hindi ba yun maintindihan ng consul), kasi hindi pa talaga kami ready to settle in the US kasi he is still working as a travelling PT every now and then lipat nang lipat sya ng location ng facility nya, so mahirap pa talaga kami magsettle. I have told this to the consuls who have interviewed me pero denied pa rin nang denied. Meron ba sa inyo na same situation ko? Advices and tips naman sisses. I want to visit lang talaga my husband. Nag-aaway na kami dahil jan kasi ako ang sinisisi niya lagi everytime my visa is denied!! Lagi reason sa akin ng consul, I don't have strong ties where I am applying to (pero I'm a PR naman dito sa country where I'm applying US Visa) and my husband is there. E hello, kung wala naman asawa ko run, hindi naman ako mag-aapply ng tourist visa. Nakakagigil na!! Another reason na bakit ayaw ko pa iPursue yung petition is because naghihintay akong maging citizen dito where I am currently in, which ayaw kong I-disclose ito sa consul, kasi baka yung petition ko naman ang mapahamak. Or dapat ko naba sabihin to para patibay na babalik talaga ako sa panggagalingan ko. HELP!!

^ Thank you sis! Yes, 11 working days to be exact bago machange yung status to "Issued". Tingin ko nakatulong yung pagtawag ko mismo sa hotline nila kasi sila nagfollow up for me. Waiting nalang ako ngayon sa 2Go courier kung kelan nila madedeliver.
