i met a consultancy guy bro in law ng classmate ko nung college.. hindi lang ako sure if immigration lawyer sya or works in an immigration firm in the US... i also had a collge classmate na immigration lawyer kaso madamot suamgot sa mga query.. nahihiya naman ako mag ask kung me bayad hehe pero since di nasagot malamang hahaha..

well, na decline kasi ako ng una kong try kumuha ng visa way back 2012. nasaktuhan din kasi ako na yung nauna sa akin kinulit yung consul. sabihin ba naman kasi purpose ng visit nya me aalagaan 2 oldie!! nung turn ko na nasabihan ako go muna sa japan then i'll see you.. since nasa old passport ko yung hongkong travel proof ko.. at malinis pa yung new passport ko..

i consulted and oh well, it comes with a price if i will get them to help me fix my papers and pagdating dun aalalayan din nila ako since I plan to try my luck there to again sa pag change ng status para legal ako makawork..

i ask my cousin na nasa US na matagal nag TNT bago naayos papel nya sabi nya pwede na yung offered price since sisiguraduhin magka tourist visa ka.. at dahil kakilala mas secured kasi madami na din naman daw manloloko sa US..

pinag iisipan ko pa din kung subok muna ko ulit ng solo..pag nagkavisa sa US ko na sila kukunin ang services.. pag hindi nakalusot then i'll seek their help dito pa lang..

Naku mga sis, my bad. Na submit ko na DS-160 tapos B1/B2 pala yung nailagay ko. I was confused, B1/B2 pala is Business AND Pleasure, while B2 Tourism / Medical Treatment. B2 lang dapat ako (tour lang). I believe there's no way to retrieve yung naisubmit na form. 

Jst made the payment through online, incase mag papaschedule na ako.. Is it okay kaya na B2 na yung ilagay ko? instead of B1/B2? or shall I stick to B1/B2 dahil yun ang nakalagay sa submitted DS-160 ko. haaaay. Kat*nga*an talaga. tsk.

^walang problema yan sis, there's a preliminary step in the interview na you can correct the entries na mali sa ds160, i think this is in the finger printing step. Sabihin mo lang na ganun. Or pwede din na sa consul mo na imention. Basta nakalagay naman dun reason for travel mo, walang problem yan.

Sissies, yung original MRV fee receipt ba na kelangan dalhin during the interview ..print nalang ba  yung Bills Payment Confirmation to USVISA if paid  thru BPI Express Online?

I submitted my D-160 online on July 21 and got the email confirmation on August 4, today.
But my travel agent was able to schedule my appointment on July 28, Tuesday and received back my passport on July 31, Friday delivered by 2GO. 3 days lang. Ang bilis.

During interview, they got my Guarantee Letter. The usual questions were: purpose of travel (training/business meetings), how long, where will you be staying (US State), Civil Status, Children (none), Salary. Since my passport was clean, I was also asked if I have been outside of the PH, I said Yes, To where? (Canada, Malaysia, Hong Kong), what did you do in Canada? (visited my Uncle).

They also did not check my MRV fee receipt. I was happy that day when they took my passport, nag souvenir shopping tuloy ako sa loob ng Embassy. Also, now that I have a US 10-yr multiple, I think I want to get other visas as well.

My husband is a dentist. He owns a clinic which is existing for 9 years now. I work for the government, SG-26 ang salary grade ko, though my employment is co-terminus with the head of the agency. We are married for one and a half years already.

My husband received an invitation for an annual meeting of dentists in Arizona. In said invitation, it was extended to me as his legal spouse. In short, we were both invited though he is the participant, alalay lang ako. 

we were granted 3-year multiple visa for korea. we will visit SK this coming november. Next week, we'll apply for japan visa naman, we plan to spend xmas there.

The event in Arizona will be on April 2016. We have only traveled to Hk, Macau, Sg, Malaysia.

What are our chances to be granted the visa? What do we need to prepare?

Hello...my fiancee was petitioned in 2005 so according to visa bulletin 1 to 2 yrs na lang ang wait time nya.  He wanted to apply for tourist visa because his younger sister is getting married in September.  We've consulted his case with an immigration lawyer 50/50 daw ang chance.  We have friends naman na same case but was granted a tourist visa.  Any chance my fiancee will be granted with a tourist visa?  Need your thoughts please.  I don't want to go there naman alone tas makiki reunion ako with his family.  Your reply is greatly appreciated.  Also question pala mga sissy ano po ba first step bayad sa bpi or fill out the d160 form muna?  TIA!

i am thinking of applying for a visa as a tourist in the US, kaso i have never been outside Ph, i have a job, been employed in the current company for 2+ years na.. may chance kaya ako to get approved? thanks

Sis iamlanie, the invitation i think will help, but then siguro better if you assume that you'll only br given a single entry tourist visa, siguro you guys have better chances of being given a visa kasi it's for work/business.

Sis prettypurple, 50/50 talaga kasi, i have a friend who has a pending US petition and he was denied for 3x, hanggang sa ayaw na nya mag apply ulit and antayin na lang nya petition nya. Pero may kakilala din ako with petition din, and he was given a visa though 6 months lang. So wala talagang assurance.

Sis honeybunny, 50/50 chance din talaga eh.. If the purpose of hour travel is just to tour around, they might ask you how much is your basic salary, and if you're going to finance your tour. Titingnan nila yun if you will be really able to finance your trip. Tatanungin ka din nila how long you intend to stay there. Actually more than anything ang tinitingnan nila talaga are your ties here in pinas, kung talagang babalik ka.

I think sa akin the ties that i was able to establish was my work (5 yrs na ko sa same company), and i dont have any immediate relatives there, lahat ng family ko andito sa pinas. Also, my wedding will be in a few months so hindi talaga ako pwedeng hindi umuwi.

re fiance visa,  diba it states na dapat you get married in 3 months? what if u didnt get married, and decided and leave and just come back, can u still reapply for fiance visa ? or idedeny ka na nila next time u apply for it again?

Hi, if I may... regarding fiance visa, once you are approved, they will only give you one single entry. It is not multiple entry. If you did not get married within 3 months, and you are still in the US then you will be considered out of status alien. If you overstayed, you may be given a ban from entering the US for some time.

Pwede mong sabihin yun, but you might have to have some proof that your friend can finance you, like income tax, or bank certificate, pwede din siguro na bigyan ka nya ng invitation to the event para proof na may pupuntahan ka talaga doon. You may declare that your uncle is in the US, then sabihin mo na sa ibang state sya. YOu have to be honest with that kasi machecheck nila yan

Re: fiance visa, single entry lang ang binibigay. Once bumalik ka ng pinas, you have to reapply for a new visa if you want to visit again. Ang alam ko pwede ka pa din mag apply ng fiance visa ulit pero they might question you kung bakit hindi nakasal the first time, so wala talagang guarantee. Again, 50/50 talaga ang chances na mabigyan.

if a filipina got a fiance visa, and got married in the US, became a US citizen, what happens to the properties that the filipina owned before marriage? can she still own property in the PH in the future? will she be a dual citizen?

Yes,  she can re acquire her Filipino citizenship. Just apply and pay the dual citizenship fee of Php12k ask your nearest PHil embassy.

Planning to apply for visa next year after my tour to Europe this september para mas maganda coz may visa stamped ng Europe and Uk na. 

Just for my background, lets say i just have 2m in my personal savings account, 5 years working with 25k monthly salary, have two kids and married.  Though, me and hubby are not living together anymore but, of course, I'll not mention that anymore coz I will have naman supporting docs from exhubby's business.

Hoping, i'll be able to get a visa so i can visit US naman next time.  We have friends to accomodate us there but im not planning naman na istorbohin pa sila fro the requirements ng visiting relatives kaya as tourist lang talaga i-apply ko...
