sis @IamDindin, tama ka nga. i tried putting MALE sa gender, and guess what? suddenly, may 'Previous employment, education, travel history' na fields.

ano kaya ang logic dito?

kamusta na ba sa us embassy ngayon? i'm planning to reapply for the 3rd time. and this is a renewal lang ah. first 2, denied. natatakot na tuloy ako mag-try ulet. but my mom's making kulit na mag-visit ulet ako don.

plan ko na lang tuloy muna mag-australia and japan before mag-apply ulet eh. di na biro ang application fee eh.

Has anybody had their interview done recently? Maluwag ba sila ngayon in giving MEs and visas? Did anyone notice if the strict consul (they say she's an Asian lady) is still there and if she is still strict? Hehe. I backread and sobrang unreasonable nung sinabi niya to one of the applicants, that her bank account doesn't reflect the her payment/income slip daw.

^Ako sis. Nagpa-interview last April.  Approved naman ng 10 yrs ME.  Bago ang passport ko at wala pang tatak.  This, after being denied twice in the past.  Ang nag change sa profile ko is that from employee before, business owner ako now.  Sabi ng iba mas malaki daw ang chance kapag may business ka kahit maliit lang.

As for that Asian lady (Korean daw).  I tried looking for her by glancing at the different windows, wala sya nung time na yun.  So inisip ko na baka bakasyon sya or on leave that time. hehe....

I have a business din kasi. And, what are the questions sa DS-160 pag sa business owners? Diba may question dun about current employment?

Sana by the time I get interviewed, naka-leave din or something si Ms. Asian lady, pwede rin sana nalipat siya ng post or something ahaha. She really sounds scary. Hope she gets a change of heart haha.

haaay nako, may bagong issue naman ako.

so i was able to submit, sign, and reach the confirmation page (may bar code na). okay na daw.

when i tried to 'email' my confirmation page to me, eto naman ang lumalabas:

"An unexpected error has occurred while processing your previous request. The error has been reported to the site administrator; no further action is required. To retrieve your DS-160 application, please enter your Application ID."

ayaw naman ma-email this time. i know that i can print the confirmation letter naman straight from the screen, pero i wanted to save a soft copy sana so i'm trying to email it to myself.

has anyone else ever encountered this? thanks mga sis!

my mom and sister applied last may and both were granted ME. they are set to leave for US end of june.

kami ni hubby, baka next year mag apply. i will be giving birth kasi end of this year, so gusto ko sana we'll apply as a family na including my two LOs. question sissies, plan ko rin sana isabay father and isang sister ko sa pag apply. will we be interviewed together? i mean, me, hubby, kids, dad and sister? or hiwalay sila dad and sister sa amin? TIA!

 Applications for a U.S. visa made after June 8, 2015, are also affected by this delay.

 1. filled out and submitted your DS-160 online application after June 8, please reschedule your appointment.  If you have an urgent travel, you are welcome to request for an expedited appointment by following the instructions in http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-expeditedappointment.asp. At the moment, we will try to accommodate expedited requests for urgent medical treatment (including organ donation), visiting a dying immediate family member, or attending the funeral of an immediate family member. The Nonimmigrant Visa Unit will determine the merits of the request and will provide instructions when the request is approved.

 2.    filled out and submitted your DS-160 online application on or before June 8, 2015, you may proceed to the Embassy on your interview date. However, due to technical delays, we will not be able to process your visa in a timely manner.

If you have an urgent travel, please send an e-mail to CONSManilaNIV@state.gov with the subject line REQUEST FOR URGENT PROCESSING. At the moment, we will try to accommodate expedited requests for urgent medical treatment (including organ donation), visiting a dying immediate family member, or attending the funeral of an immediate family member. In the request, please specify the applicant’s complete name, date of birth, passport number, date when the DS-160 form was accomplished, DS-160 barcode number, and anticipated date and reason for travel. The Nonimmigrant Visa Unit will advise all requestors accordingly. Those scheduled from June 15 to June 26 may, alternatively, reschedule their appointment at a later date.

i guess ulitin ko na lang to be sure. antayin ko na lang na maayos yung system nila. siguro in two weeks okay an yan. yun nga lang baka september na tayo ma-interview.

i don't think you have to fill out again, as long as meron kang reference number you can retrieve your ds-160 form

nakapagschedule ka na ba ng interview? i believe you can retrieve your form anytime as long as nasayo yung reference number mo

I'm scheduled for interview on the 26th. I'll be taking my US licensure on July 21 so I can't afford to be denied hahaha.

ang alam ko you need the application number and then you have to answer the security question. just go to https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ and click 'retrieve an application'

but if the form has been submitted, you can no longer edit it as far as i know. you have to fill out a new form to get a new barcode.

but with the current technical problem di ko lang alam kung it's a good time to
fill out the form online right now.

We're scheduled for an interview on July 9 and yes, the form has been submitted by the agency na daw.  Would you guys know if I'll be charged again if I fill out a new form?  Kaloka.

Sorry sis, I am not allowed to make pm here yet.  To answer your question, matagal na yung business (more than 10yrs) nagtake over ako sa management 3 yrs ago.  Dinala ko yung mga papers na makakapagpatunay na ako talaga ang may hawak ng business.  Just in case they ask for it.  Pero gaya ng sabi ng marami dito, walang papeles na hiningi.  Pero during the interview tinanong sa akin ng consul how long na existing yung business saka how long ako nagwork prior to taking over the said business.

Hi sissies and bros! I am planning to apply for US Visa  maybe later this year or next year. Kaso ang problem ko is after our wedding this year I will not work anymore. My h2b is working on a cruise ship and plan sana namin late honeymoon trip, sasama ako sa kanya. May chance kaya ako makakuha ng visa kahit unemployed but married and papakita ko lang ang papers na sasakay ako sa barko ni h2b? Naisip ko rin kasi baka tanungin ang previous job ko, then sabihin ko na nurse ako, ma-lessen ang chances ko to get a visa. I hope someone can advice me on this. TIA!
