Your parents approval will be based on your sisters petition and her financial stability, doesnt matter if they were denied 11 years ago of a visit visa. You will not be interviewed together kasi iba ang non immigrant sa immigrant visa. Yours will be non immigrant (b1/ visit visa). You have to prove your ties here in the Philippines to show na babalik ka pa despite the fact na titira na parents mo and nakatira na sister mo doon.

^ You know I never thought about that. Oo nga ano. You're right sis, nasa states na sister ko and to be migrated pa parents ko. The only thing I can prove is my current work here in PH, recently promoted. Other than that, wala na. Technically, my parents doesn't live with me, galing silang province. I'm single and I live independently. Pinag aapply lang kasi ako ng sister ko. What we only had in mind was to accompany/assist my parents kasi mabagal na sila maglakad/gumalaw. They need assistance talaga when they're out.

Looking into renewing (or reapply actually) my parents' tourist visa. They were given multiple 10-year visas before. Hope it will be a smooth process.

byutijunkie, when i first applied for a US visa back in 2006, we also applied as a family. I had just gotten married then so i also had a different surname as the rest of my family who were also applying. Back then, there were 2 lines and fall in line based on first letter of surname (A-L then M-Z). Magkahiwalay pa kami sa pila nung una but when my mom explained that we were applying as a family, pinalipat ako sa pila kasama nila.

When it was our turn for interview, we were all called at the same time, sa isang consul lang, but we were still interviewed individually. So kanya-kanyang documents and iba-ibang questions din.

Been backreading and I can't seem to find the answer. In case someone is denied with the Visa application, can you still appeal for it (since I understand the fee is non-refundable)? And if not, how long does it take before you can apply for a US Visa (Tourist) again?

^You can apply anytime you want but I advise having a significant improvement in your profile before doing so

Correct me if I'm wrong but to my knowledge there is no appeal in case of visa denial unlike in other non-US visa applications. You can re-apply but that means you pay again. Just make sure when you do, as mentioned by beachpatrol you have made a significant improvement, in short your ties back here should be stronger.

@featherduster ako ata after 3 days nagre-apply ako. 3 araw lang ako naghimutok na di ako nakapasa then go ulit! nung next interview ko sabi ko lang na i guess di ko napakita ng maayos or naprove na may babalikan ako sa pinas. got multiple visa on my second try.

Is it true that some consuls there are really strict? Like even if your papers are complete in a way that it shows you have strong family and economic ties here in Manila, they'd still deny you? Are there chances that you'd get assigned to the "hostile" consuls?

hello just wanted to seek for advice

I already got my visa last end of March and was granted 10yrs multiple entry. I am planning now to apply for my 5yo daughter (turning 6 soon). What supporting documents should I add kaya aside from the ones I did not use before? (birth cert, marriage cert, bank certification etc). Can I get like a document from her school stating she has already enrolled for this upcoming school year?

any suggestions pa po what other documents should I prepare? Thanks.

Hi,

For some reason, ayaw lumabas nung page 2 ng work/education/training section sa online application ko. Yung sa husband ko--which I filled up--meron. It's those questions about previous job, schools attended, etc. Importante daw ito, and I;ve heard of someone getting denied because the travel agency he used failed to fill out info about his university, degree, etc.

Parehong browser and laptop na ginamit namin ng husband ko. Yung sa kanya meron, sakin ayaw mag-load? Derecho ako agad sa security questions. Hindi ako tinatanong ng previous employment, education, countries visited in the last 5 years, etc.

I called the hotline and sabi naman sakin nung call center agent, wala daw instructions na binigya sa kanila yung US embassy sa kanila about such a case.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

^ Sis, Previous employment, education, travel history, organization = nag a appear lang for male applicants.  For female applicants, hanggang dun lang talaga sa current employment after that diretso na security questions.

^ nag-worry din ako nung kami ni husband kasi same with you, wala din ako ganyang questions sa application.

Pero approved naman kami both, 10years.
