^ thank you very much mama squeak kasi may nagsabi sa akin na hindi daw pinasakay dahil nga daw matagal na  narelease ang visa tapos hindi ginamit sa tentative date ng alis or something and need ko daw update and US embassy?? at inform na hindi ako natuloy dahil sa work or something.. or give a reason kung bakit hindi nga natuloy^

not true, my first 10 year multiple was used 5 years after it was issued. Never had problems with it. Yung second 10 year multiple ko I used a year after. Buntis pa ako when I entered and I never had problems again. No need to update the embassy, they gave you a 10 year multiple so you can enter the us within a span of 10 years, eh di sana single entry na 6 months nalang diba.

Question, tinanong ba sa inyo specifically ano position and where nagwowork yung friends/relatives/etc na contact ninyo sa U.S? did they also ask for the specific address and number of those people?

^ sis nung interview ko tinanong ako regarding sa uncle ko kasi sabi ko sa application sa kanya ako mag stay.. twice ask ng interviewer kung saan nakatira ang uncle ko in different time during ng interview mabuti at kinabisado ko talaga pati street at nasagot ko naman mainam na kabisaduhin mo yung address mo kung saan ka talaga mag stay about the work hindi naman ask kung saan nag wowowork ang uncle ko pero actually kahit tanungin eh alam ko naman kung saan sya nag wowork

hi mga sis, pwede niyo ba ishare how to apply for US tourist visa, i am wondering din na kapag nadeny ba one time hindi na pwede mag-apply ulet? Gusto ko kasi sana iapply ang mom ko but she doesn't have work but she has some savings sa bank. Kelangan ba may income para maapprove? She was a US immigrant but she surrendered her visa cause my dad abandoned his. My dad passed away last year and i want my mom to try to get to US again even just for a vacation. Possible kaya na maapprove siya? Sorry if i have too many questions, i have no idea pa kasi talaga about tourist visa. TIA

missus13 - I don't think that would be much of a problem kasi my brother was also denied at first, and then nung sumabay siya sa family nakalusot naman siya.  He has 10 years US visa na.

Tinanong lang if citizen dad ko. Then i also said san sya nawowork and position (for the federal goverment si papa nagwowork) but it seemed like the consul didnt care wahaha. Di tinanong saan nakatira si papa.. Di rin tinanong san kami pupunta

Mas nagfocus sya sa family finances ko. Tinanong din niya if penitition ako ni papa before eh hindi naman and why daw. Eh kasi naghiwalay na sila ni mama nung mga bata pa kami tinanong nga rin ako bakit hindi ko raw isasama daughter ko.. I wanted to kick myself haha eh kasi naman papa said that it's not a good idea na isabay ko daughter ko baka kasi maging dahilan pa un na madeny ako because I might not come back

But once I get my visa.. Balak ko talaga sunod na si daughter ko na iaapply ko. Or maybe I will visit my dad first.. Then when I come back.. Saka ako apply for my daughter para may record ako na bumalik na ako. Ok kaya?

How true na red flag sa kanila ang mga nurses? Kasi I'm a nurse and may classmate ako before buong family niya approved for a tourist visa, then siya lang ang hindi at naiwan. I have relatives there pero wala naman ako plan mag-TNT, kasi I work here naman as a nurse din, sa UK ko balak mag-work hehe. My dad wants us to have a vacation there maybe next year or next next.

^as long as maprove mo na babalik ka at strong ang ties mo dito, then there's no problem

^actually mas mahirap kasi baka isipin nila na di ka na babalik dahil may family ka dun. pero kung ma-prove mo naman na babalik ka dito, mas malaki chance maapprove.

^^ if your immediate family resides in the US you have to declare. Mas gusto nila yung honest. Though divulging too much info is a no no pero pag nasa application form just answer truthfully.

Hi Sis in my case, i told them my brother is in US and thats the main reason I am going to US to visit him. Siguro nasa convincing powers mo lang na babalik ka. I was given 10 years. Also, dito ako sa SG nag apply ng visa coz I'm based here, so baka mas maluwag din sila dito unlike sa Pinas. Good luck!

Hi sisses, I had my interview yesterday, and my visa was approved!
Mejo matagal lang ang waiting time kahapon kasi ang daming tao, pero at least good news.
Swertihan talaga sa consul na mag-iinterview kasi konti lang tinanong sakin, and walang hiningi na additional docs.

I'm new here.
I discovered this thread during my quest to find tips on how to go about the US tourist visa application. I have been back reading everything last week as part of my preparation for my scheduled interview today.  I got many useful tips on how to go about the interview.  I applied with my husband and son. 

We made it!!!  Thanks to all who shared their own experiences, approved or denied.  Both posts are useful.  We will know if its single entry or multiple once we receive our passports.

Congrats msrx!  How many years did the US Embassy gave you?  Did they give you a 10 year visa?

^@kiara_yao, We will know once we receive our passports from the courier.  At the end of the interview, if you get approved, you'll hear, "Your passports will be delivered to you within 7 days".  But if denied, they will return your passport with a blue paper.
