I've traveled to Singapore, Korea, China, Hongkong and Macau. Ang dami ng tatak ng passport ko. Sadly, need ko mag renew ng passport eh plan ko naman after fiance and I get married mag apply kami for US visa so by the time  na mag pa interview kami, clean slate passport ko.

Husband and I renewed our ten-year multiple entry visa to the US.

^^I think wala namang issue kung clean slate passport mo. Titignan naman nila credentials mo based on your application form. Yung iba nga hindi pa nakakaalis ng bansa, nabigyan ng US visa.

sis beachpatrol, I was actually denied a visa na about 4 years ago but before that, ganito, hehe:

I was fresh out of college and was working in a call center. My parents decided to have my US visa renewed together with them and my sibs, so whole family kami. On the interview itself, ayaw ako bigyan ng consul ng visa kasi I was a nursing graduate daw, but since buong family kami nagpa interview, pinagbigyan ako. And my mom said we'll be leaving that same year kasi for my lolo's 80th in Cali.

Then Ondoy happened. Our house was flooded and my bag which I left sa sala the night before, siyempre got wet hehe so basa ang passport with the print of the US visa. I renewed my passport and applied for another visa but this time they denied me na. I dunno if it's the nursing thing or na I did not leave that year kasi hindi naapprove yung leave ko.

Kaya whenever may naiipon ako, I go out of the country para madaming tatak yung passport when I finally try for another visa. Kaso nagka jowa at eto na ikakasal na so wait na daw kaming dalawa na pareho na kami ng last name to apply for a visa.

Ang kinakatakot ko naman mga sis, siyempre makikitang newly weds kami. Baka isipin mag TNT to start a fruitful life sa US. hehe. sorry mahaba pero ayun. Kaya I'm worried about my clean slate passport.

When schedule mo sis and what documents are you bringing along?

Mga sis, pa-help naman. my father will apply for us visa to visit my sisters and no intention of staying there. he's already 60+, walang work or business. sss pension and padala lang ng eldest sister ko from us ang monthly income nya. Ano kayang compelling reason ang pede nyang masabi na patunay na babalik pa sya ng pinas. sagot ng 2 sisters (na nasa US )ko ang expenses nya.  pede nya bang ireason na need nya rin bumalik kasi kelangan nya pang i-escort ang ikakasal nyang anak next year?

Sis kristel ang alam ko big deal ang weddings sa Americans so there's a possibility na maniwala sakanya yung consul and mabigyan siya ng visa.

However, lately I've heard na consuls aren't very keen on giving senior citizens a tourist visa. Kasi in case they get sick sa states, healthcare will be paid by the US gov't. So yun yung iniiwasan nila.

Ganun ba sis happilytaken? sayang naman, but will try pa rin. Usually, ano ba mga questions pag senior ang applicant?

I'm not sure sa mga tinatanong sa seniors pero usually with everybody is

Why do you want to go to the states?
Do you have relatives there?
Address of where you'll be staying in the US?

Ganun tas sa docus naman usually with everybody (for tourists)

Source of Income
If you have business here and your ITR sa business

Sorry if it's not very helpful sis. Based on my experience lang kasi yan.

Hi mga sis! May possibility ba na mabigyan kami ng tourist visa given the scenario below:

Me:
- Got denied na twice
- 4 years working
- Traveled to SG, MAL and IND

Brother:
- 1st time to apply for tourist visa
- More than 1 year pa lang sa work
- Haven't traveled outside the country

Our parents recently got approved for green card. We have a younger brother na US citizen. We are planning to apply for tourist visa muna so we can spend Christmas sa US. Actually 2 weeks vacation lang plan namin.

@jieb_720_ohs you have very strong ties to the US. You need to prove that you'll return here (work, properties, school etc). But of course, you'll never know if you try again

@iamlanie - Hmm may bearing ang status sa application, I think. Pag single young women, medyo red flag siya sabi ng ibang nababasa ko sa forum. Pag married ka at nandito buong family, mas malakas ties mo dito. Ang importante lang naman maprove mo na babalik ka dito at bakasyon lang talaga dun.

may mga kapatid naman sya dun at yun ang idedeclare namin. please help.

I am a student and a virtual assistant at the same time. My employer is based in Texas. Idedeclare ko pa ba na nagwowork ako online or wag na?

Kase wala naman space sa form para ilagay yung details about sa current job ko if I choose na student ako. Need your help sisses.

nagsisisi ako hindi ko pa sinabay sa baby ko (my baby was given 10yrs)

pwede ba mag request ng tagalog speaking consul?

possible na itanong sa kanya kung nasaan ang mga anak niya at dapat sabihin niya ang totoo. mas mahirap pag nahuli magsinungaling, nasa records nila ang lahat.

^ Meron ako naging classmate nung college then his mom was TNT for the longest time and his visa was approved. They did not asked any question about his mom naman daw. He just said that he will stay in hotel and declared relative niya was his tita. I think depende sa consul pa rin and swertehan na lang din siguro kaya pray harder na lang.
