Share ko lang mga sis ang experience ko, yesterday ang interview ko and it was my first time to apply for US visa. I was issued with 4 Schengen visa and 2 residence visa in EU already dahil sa work ko pabalik-balik ako in EU then I also travelled na rin sa mga ibang Asian countries but still hesitate ako kumuha dahil single ako and other factors na rin na pwede ma-deny like I pay for a car pero sa mom ko nakapangalan in short wala ako assets except for my job.
I just give it a try, approved man or hindi ok lang basta ttry ko lang. I just prepared few documents lang kasi naman wala naman ako masyado pprepare haha! Basics lang: ITR, COE, Payslips for the past 3 months, Bank Certificate, my old passports for my EU visas and company ID ko whenever I'm in EU. My interview is scheduled at 7:30AM at syempre na-stress daw ako kasi hindi ko na print ang appointment email so naghanap pa ako ng internet cafe na 48 years magprint ang printer eh sa pagpasok lang naman pala titignan yun just to make sure that you belong in 7:30 schedule after that hindi na siya kailangan. It is always the DS 160 form and passport ang need lang from getting the queue number, pre-screening, fingerprint and interview itself.
I was hoping to be interviewed by Window 9 (kamukha niya si China Cojuangco) kasi pagupo ko sa tapat ng window na yun while waiting for my number in the monitor wala pa ako narinig nagdenied siya. In window 8 meron nadenied na matanda babae mga 2 questions lang ayun blue paper na after ng matanda babae my queue number flashed in Window 8 so *cross fingers!* na lang! The VO is a guy like indian dark skinned something...
* In my application form, I will be going to Guam and stay in a hotel even if I declared my Auntie is in Guam. I'll be travelling with my sister and her family (all of them have 10 years multiple visa already)*
VO: Are you alone today?
Me: Yes
VO: Where you going?
Me: Guam
VO: What will you do there?
ME: Summer vacation and I want to try their Waterparks
VO: But there are a lot of nice islands here in the Philippines than Guam
Me: But I've been here already so I want to see Guam
VO: What do you do?
Me: (I answered my position) then VO asked what does it do (I answered my tasks here)
VO: Ok... Have you travelled outside the Philippines?
Me: Yes then VO asked Where?
Me: Stating 5 EU countries pa lang he stopped me na hindi ko pa nasasabi ang asian countries and asked is that for work ang sabi ko Yes what do you there? I said training and on-site project support
VO: Are you single?
Me: Yes
VO: Goodluck and I hope Guam will not disappoint you!
That's it dahil hindi na niya binalik ang passport ko and no blue paper, I just said thank you so much with a smile and I left. I was expecting kasi the usual line nila "your visa will be delivered...." No documents na hinanap. Interview is less than 2 minutes lang, ang bilis ng mga tanong at mabilis din ang pagsagot ko. Presence of mind talaga and always look smart para makita nila firm ka sumagot.
Kasabay ko din ang sister ng BF ko separate appointment but for her 3 kids ang appointment kasi she has 10 years multiple visa na, her 2 kids were denied 2 times already so pang-3rd na nila kahapon then the 3rd kid is 1yo plus lang. They also got approved by Window 8 so we are so happy kahapon.
We are just waiting for our passport and hopefully 10 years ang makuha namin.
